Announcement 1 (02/09/2025) — Helpful Videos, Please Watch Before Class!
Circuits are consistently one of the hardest topics for my students in physics 2, especially since new ideas are constantly building on old ones. If you don't start early with a strong foundation/intuition, the new stuff won't stick and it's extremely easy to fall behind.
I HIGHLY recommend watching some or all of these videos before class, I selected the ones which are the most intuitive / beginner-friendly. In the past, most student who watched these say it helped and/or explained topics much better than lecture. It also significantly decreases the amount of time/confusion it takes to complete the labs.
- Basics of circuits (Yau-Jong Twu)
- Amazing circuit intuition (Eugene Khutaryonsky)
- Kirchoff's rules (Viren)
