Apollo's Relationship Poll
When interviewed by eager voices wanting to know, this is what Apollo said he thought of everyone!
One've the greatest tragedies of the Park. I'd love t' see what she's workin' on. I feel like it's related t' me, somehow, 'n how I ended up here. How Diana ended up here, maybe, too. Someday I gotta lure her outta that place 'n talk to her privately. She's gotta have some kind'a clue, I jus' know it...
Arrogant prick who's way too into the do-gooder stuff. Rich comin' from me, I'm sure, but he seems outright fanatic. Puts a bad name on justice. Hopin' he grows up a bit like I did and gets over himself.
Odd fella. I've seen him snoopin' around our dungeons before. He doesn't seem t' mind my reputation, which I appreciate, but I'm not sure he really minds... anythin'. Seems a bit aloof. Absent-minded. Head-in-the-clouds. There're a lot of terms fer... whatever he is.
I don't believe a word of that guy's reputation. He's not even fully evolved, why do people think he's gone all the way up The Tower?
'Sides, I've... seen the guy around. Not gotten very close, but I've gotten glimpses. He didn't really notice me, thankf'lly, and seemed more preoccupied with his own schedule. He's... probably decent.
Diana
...
Seems like a fine guy. 'm sure we'd get on well enough if the Park wasn't off-limits. If he showed up 'n a dungeon that wasn't pure water, I'd be happy t' talk to him.
Spits on me fer some reason. Doesn't like me. I don' like him neither. Too bad Diana's a fan. Of course.
Who? Oh, the smoker. Not a fan.
Another guild-goer? Huh, I had no clue. I think I've seen him 'n his partner at the Bygone Market before, but I always figured they were bandits're somethin' of the sort. S'ppose they jus' gave off that kind've energy.
Sad guy. I don't see him too often. I've mostly heard 'bout him from others. I think I saw him once, when I got t' visit the Supersweet Stowaway that one time, and that's it. Couldn't shake the feelin' that he really didn't want t' be there.
Don't think I've ever seen this guy, but I've heard plen'y about him from his dumb minions. Annoyin' mooks that can't put up much've a fight. Mostly just make explorin' the industrial sector a bit've a pain. They'd be way less dangerous if that place wasn't full'a giant structures for them to abuse.
I guess their leader's a pain by proxy, but for all ah know he could just be some unfortunate soul babysittin' a bunch'a ill-fittin' weirdos. Misfits who don' belong. Maybe.
Seems lonely. I dunno what he's gone through, but he seems nice 'nuff when he's not tryin' ta murder me. I prolly shouldn't harp on him, though, since I doubt he'd be the kind'a guy t' forgive me fer all the shit i've pulled in the past. Seems too begrudgin' for that kinda thing.
Weird fella. Thought he was a girl when I met him. Only once, might'a add, a while ago. Oddly 'nuff, he's not very unnerving? I'm sure he's tryin', with his attitude and the way he talks, but I can't take him seriously.
Don't wanna admit it, but I can admit t' relating to him. His want for attention, if extreme, is... familiar.
With how this one was treatin' the Bygone Market, maybe I should'a known he wasn't a bandit. Seemed infatuated with all the li'l squares 'n open spaces.
...sorry 'bout Diana. It's all I ever get t' say to her. I'm not sure she even classes me as a separate 'mon. Jus' lumps me in with her.
Ugh. Total iron thorn in my butt. He's pretty hostile on-sight thanks to Diana. I just wish I could talk t' him without her for once. From what I know've him, he seems like a very nice guy. Similar t' me, almost. Formerly criminal but tryin' to improve. I can respect that. I wish Diana could too.
Diana and Apollo's Relationship Chatter
The two are inseparable in both opinion and body. Here's what they had to say as a team!
Diana: Crazy lady. Crazy woman. Crazy whatever. She keeps going on about conspiracies and her weird name. Claiming there were different species here, always wanting a look at some random dungeon junk we thought looked neat. Thank god she sticks to the Park; she knows her place. Apollo's nuts for thinkin' she's got a point.
Apollo: Am not! You've jus' gotta think about it. She makes some good arguments.
Diana: No, I think you're just looking for something to explain why you're here. I can tell you right now that Anne Tenna doesn't know anything about that.
Apollo: ...
Diana: What an arrogant jerk. So stupid, too. You weren't here for this, but he couldn't even scratch me after he'd knocked you out!
Apollo: I don' believe you.
Diana: Well, you better! The kid kept using one move, over and over, even after realizing that it was Normal-typed. That's how I managed to get you out of there.
Apollo: Sure it is.
Diana: I'm being serious!
Diana: Boooooring. No clue what i'd talk to him about. The scrap metal he likes so much?
Apollo: I'm sure he's worth talkin' to if you just give it a try.
Diana: I don't really feel like it. I'll pass.
Diana: Oooh, I'm shaking in my boots! A super-scary do-gooder! Almost as dangerous as Bell, I bet.
Apollo: Heh. I'm sure he's stronger than him, don' underestimate someone with that reputation.
Diana: I'm not underestimating him, I'm being serious Apollo. Super serious right now. He's terrifying... what if the Guard managed to recruit him and started going after us? We'd be toast!
Apollo: ...w-well, I'd like t' think we wouldn't. He's just a normal guy. I'm sure we could hold our own fer a little bit.
Diana: Sure, until he starts making the earth quake... oOOoOoOoOo...
Apollo: Stop danglin' your tendrils above me, please. It ain't spookin' me.
Diana: Strange fella. I swear he's trying to talk to me sometimes.
Apollo: Whaddya mean? He talks t' everyone. Most people do.
Diana: No, no, I mean talk. Like, how I talk to you.
Apollo: ...through yer weird brain-waves?
Diana: Yeah, now you're getting it! He keeps trying to do that, but with the big gem in the middle of his face. Keeps blinkin' it in certain ways. I swear, it's very familiar...
Diana: Ah, an old man. The perfect target for egging.
Apollo: Pff, can't argue with that. Maybe... maybe we shouldn' egg him, though? He's old, 'n looks kinda frail. It doesn't seem right.
Diana: You dare deny me the right to egg a living egg? Shame on you! We should totally do it at least once...
Apollo: Okay, okay, maybe once 'r twice. No more, though, and we gotta be light.
Diana: Ech, can't breathe with her around.
Apollo: You... you need t' breathe?
Diana: Well, no, but... I don't like looking at her either. The smoke makes my eyes water.
Apollo: Ah guess we should be thankful she's mostly stuck at the Park.
Diana: If only she wasn't. We could snatch so much of her stuff while she was high off... whatever it is she smokes.
Apollo: Well, she isn't, so we shouldn't worry 'bout missin' out on stuff like that.
Apollo: snrk
Diana: What's so funny?
Apollo: That name's a bit funny, isn' it? Unfortunate.
Diana: Doesn't seem all too funny to me. What am I missing?
Apollo: Ah wish I could tell ya. It kinda reminds me of somethin', but I dunno what. It's gotta be funny if it's makin' me laugh like this.
Diana: I feel kind of bad for him, don't you?
Apollo: Def'nitely. Don' know what happened t' leave him this way, but he's sad t' look at.
Diana: Breaks my heart.
Apollo: Messes with mine, too. Ah hope he gets some help soon.
Diana: Annoying little guys. I can't imagine living in a pack of them.
Apollo: I dunno. I could see myself among 'em.
Diana: What? You've gotta be joking!
Apollo: I'm not, really. They're annoyin' 'n all, but they don't seem... malicious, if y'know what I mean.
Diana: No, Apollo, I really don't. I can't imagine many things more malicious than claiming a whole port as your turf and throwing rocks at anyone who tries to knock some sense into you.
Diana: ...
Apollo: You're quiet. That's a first.
Diana: What is there to say? It's not like I see him around much.
Apollo: I guess he does talk t' me more when we do meet.
Diana: A kindred spirit!
Apollo: I wouldn't say so.
Diana: Huh? How not? We're both appreciators of mischief and spooky specter types. Ain't that enough to be brothers in arms?
Apollo: No, def'nitely not. You haven't got that bond. The special sauce. The connection. That pot of moolah that we've got.
Diana: Oh, buzz off.
Diana: He's a bit bright-eyed. I don't know how he picks anything up with those claws.
Apollo: Same way you talk, probably.
Diana: What? No way. Skorupi don't have telepathy, do they?
Apollo: What? I meant through magic.
Diana: ...but I don't talk through magic...
Diana: Threw us out of the one place we could get a good night's rest.
Apollo: Yeah, cuz'a you!
Diana: How could I have known she wouldn't take that as a joke? It was so obvious! Why would I just insult her after sticking around to make sure you were safe, and paying for it?
Apollo: Because you're a jerk, 'n everyone knows you're a jerk, who doesn't always slander people just fer fun.
Diana: When have I ever meant an insult sincerely?
Apollo: When you told me t' buzz off five seconds ago.
Diana: ...you call that an insult?
Diana: Ah, Mr. "Attack on Sight." So lovely of him to keep the Park out of our grubby mitts.
Apollo: Yeah, actually, it's pretty lovely of him t' keep average citizens away from you.
Diana: Aww, scared I'm going to hurt someone?
Apollo: Not now, noodle-arms, you ain't scary enough fer that. But nobody deserves t' be assaulted by your ghosty tongue, 'n I know you wouldn't go easy on 'em if you were let inta that place.
Diana: Fair, fair. I'll concede on that one.
That's all for now. Come back later for some more opinions, courtesy of the double-trouble duo!
