blurp of how I view Primus within the story of Transformers or aka how I want Primus to be written.

In my view, Primus is not the kind and loving creator, more likely he is an omnipresent and omniscient god with the power to create and indulge in the power of creation. that doesn't make him entirely good nor bad since he is a force of nature, in equilibrium with the universe. think of how too much creation hurts, that's in essence the concept of ying and yang. so does unicron. they share a level of intent and good and bad equally. the morals shared across all mechs is up to them and truly don't define if the actions of one god are seen as benevolent.

Primus' power is an antithesis to Unicron's, meaning there is a certain amount of creation and destruction weaving in the fabric of the universe. too much creation is equally as bad as too much destruction. i've thought about how different amounts of bad and good are elements that define a mech's capabilities of being good and bad, philantropic or selfish, destructive or outstanding, tolerant and impatient and so on, meaning while most mechs are seen as creations of Primus, bits of Unicron's power sip in within the process new sparks are born under many forms, like dark energon.
