not rlly important but just a little in depth.

please do not attempt to "educate" me on the meaning of "proship". i know the original meaning behind the term; being along the lines of the support of all ships without harassment. with that being said, with how the term is now portrayed (ships that contain rape, pedophilia, etc), i do not want to be associated with anyone who even labels themselves with the term.

the "support of ALL ships" includes illegal ships such as grooming, pedophilia, rape, etc. so really, that just backfires when trying to redeem the term imo. with "comship", not every ship NEEDS a fucking label lol,,, imo i feel like majority of people use it to label perfectly fine tropes (such as mortal x immortal) as "bad". there's even been some people saying gay or lgbtq ships in general are "comships" which are NOT true. only types of labels i can see having a straight forward meaning is "crosspair" and "rarepair". all relationships can be complex in some way so there's rlly no need for it.

with proship's original meaning, the term itself does not need to exist in the first place. you do not need a label for being a decent person and not harassing people over a ship that isn't harmful or portraying illegal or immoral situations. it's lowkey stupid

saying that you're a proshipper or darkshipper is super uncomfortable to me for reasons i will not get into! but just know telling me that you're a darkshipper and support shit like grooming, rape, pedophilia, stuff like that makes you look extremely crazy to me /srs. i do not care if you only support it in fiction and fiction only. saying that you support it in GENERAL is horrid. it is PART of the reason why victims of these kinds of things are taken so lightly online, especially in fandom/fanbase spaces.

tldr; (dis)respectfully don't interact with me if you're a proshipper or support grooming, rape, etc in general. it's super uncomfortable for me and i'd rather not be around those kinds of people. i will not interact with you either and block you on spot.
