VOL I . INTERACTION
This section includes interaction related tags found on Ponytown, and other websites. It is important to be educated on these tags if you would like to understand Ponytown better.
· TT ( Touch Trigger )
A touch trigger is a severe reaction to your character being touched. This tag is very controversial due to the fact that people argue that people who have a touch trigger are faking a phobia called Haphephobia. Haphephobia is an irrational fear of being touched and is normally caused by trauma.

· TD (Touch Discomfort)
A touch discomfort is a discomfort to your character being touched. This tag is very controversial as well due to it being associated with TT discourse.

· AFK ( Away From Keyboard )
Someone who is AFK may be doing something away from the screen so you may not be able to interact with them at the moment or they’re off tab doing something else.
· DNI (Do not interact)
Do not interact means this person wouldn’t like anybody to interact with them at the moment or at all.
- Similar terms include: Do not interact unless friends (DNIUF) | Do not interact unless close (DNIUC)
·DNC (Do not cover)
When someone has DNC in their name, they don’t want you to cover their character.
· C+H (Cuddles and hiding)
This tag means you’re allowed to cuddle the person and hide behind them if you’d like.

VOL II . MEDICAL DISORDER RELATED TAGS
Please be warned that this section includes disorder related tags found on Ponytown, and other websites. While there may be countless sources of information on them, I encourage you to seek medical treatment if you think you fall under any of the below. While you may self diagnose, please try and do as much research possible before self diagnosing.
· SYS (System)
A collection of alters in a single body.
· ALT (Alter)
An alter is a person in a DID or OSDD-1 system is a dissociated state that take full control of the body and view themselves as separate individuals.

· INTROJ (Introject)
An introject is a type of alter that is based off outside sources. Introjects can be based off fictional characters and real life people.
· FICT (Fictive)
A fictive is a type of introject that's from a fictional source. Fictives are real, valid, and aren't their source; they shouldn't be treated as such.
· FACT (Factive)
A factive is a type of introject that's from a real life source. Factives are real, valid, and aren't their source; and they shouldn't be treated as such.
· LITTLE
A little is a child alter in a system. They function like children and normally percieve themself as children. I encourage you to guide any littles to the safe server or party island if spotted on 18+ servers.
- Please note that the age of someone’s body and the age of an alter are not the same.
· IRL
An IRL is where someone believes they're a character from media, or a real person. The correct term for IRL is grandiose delusions or delusions of grandeur. If you think you might be suffering from a delusion, please seek medical help and don't feed into other people's delusions. Also, do not reality check IRL's, as it can send them into a psychotic spiral.

VOL III . COPING MECHANISMS
It is important to not judge these people, as many of them have gone through trauma and use these to cope with it.
· AGERE (Age Regression)
Age regression is a SFW and healthy coping mechanism where one regresses to a younger age than their body’s age.
· CL (Copinglink)
A coping link is where someone sees themself as a character for coping reasons.

VOL IV . MISC
This section contains any term that is widely used in PonyTown, but not on this list due to not falling into any of the categories.
· MV (My version)
A MV refers to someone who has made their own design for an already existing character.
· RMK (Remake)
Whatever skin this tag is on is a remake of an older version of said skin.
· IRL (In real life)
This can mean a D/A, but can also mean said person made themselves on Ponytown.
· KIN
Kin refers to a character in which someone heavily relates too. This term can change a little when it comes to specific definitions.
· DNC (Do not copy)
DNC can mean 'do not cuddle', but can also mean 'do not copy'. It is basic etiquette, but don't copy anybody's PonyTown skins, as it is not too hard to just make your own.
