Safe Zones

  • Places / times where you CANNOT be stung and are safe in.

Work

  • Public Area Work: If you work in a public area where you could be there for other purposes (like tutoring in a library), you are safe until 5 minutes after your shift ends. If you need to stay longer than the shift you previously told us about (i. e. extra shifts), please DM us to confirm your safety.
  • Official Workplaces (Private/Non-Public Facilities): You are safe at your official workplace/facility (e.g., a business, office, or store) until you leave.

Outside School Extracurriculars

  • You are safe until you leave the facility or property where your extracurricular activity is taking place.

School Extracurriculars

  • Regular Leadership Students: After your activity ends, you have a 2-minute safe period to change out of your leadership shirt. After 2 minutes, you are unsafe.
  • Athletic Leadership Students:
    1. You are unsafe once you are dismissed by the teacher or when the activity ends (depending on the situation) at Pinetree.
    2. If you are refereeing or involved in activities outside of school (e.g., at another school), you are safe while in their school gym, but once you leave you are UNSAFE.
  • Red Cross Students: You are safe the entire duration of your activity. Once the activity related to Red Cross is over you are UNSAFE.

Performances/Concerts

  • Performers
    • Safe until you leave the venue of the performance
    • Once you leave the venue you are unsafe
  • Note: People watching are NOT SAFE

Sports

  • You are safe during sports (games and practices)
  • However, as soon as you are dismissed by your coach you are UNSAFE

School

  • Class time is ALWAYS safe (including washroom breaks, printing, etc.).
    • Class time starts: When the teacher is in the classroom and has started the class
    • Class time ends: When the teacher has dismissed the whole class out of the room
    • Note: you cannot sting in classrooms unless it's lunchtime
  • Note: for auto shop classes
    • You can only sting in the auto shop and woodwork shop after the teacher has dismissed both you and your target.
    • This means both of you must have cleaned up your station before a sting is valid.
  • Taking a test during an off block (must notify organizers in advance).
  • ESS

Clubs

  • Club meetings:
    • You're safe in the club meeting room during an ongoing meeting
    • Once you leave the room, you are not safe
  • Club Activities (e.g., Fundraisers)
    • You are SAFE while actively participating in club-related activities.
    • You are NOT SAFE once you stop doing anything related to the club and the activity is over.
    • Set-up and clean-up are safe since they are part of the club activity.

Cars

  • Safe while the vehicle is running.
  • Do not touch cars.
  • Note: No forceful entry into parked cars (must have permission).

Houses/Properties

  • Your own house/property is always safe unless you willingly invite the person who is targeting you inside.
  • If you go to someone else’s house, you are unsafe.

Washrooms & Changerooms

  • Filming is NOT allowed in the washroom and changerooms

Gyms (like Planet fitness)

  • Community center gym is included in this too

Public Transportation (Buses Only)
