KEY LOCATIONS OF AURUM'VEL
THE MAIN SQUARE
At the heart of Aurum’Vel lies the Main Square, a breathtaking expanse of stone and radiant light where the city's pulse is felt most strongly. Framed by towering colonnades and adorned with statues of the Gods, the square shimmers beneath the ever-watchful sun, its polished flagstones glowing like hammered gold.
Dominating the eastern edge stands the Central Church, a towering sanctuary of alabaster and burnished gold, crowned with eight spires—each representing one of the divine champions chosen by the gods. Within its vaulted halls, worshippers gather beneath stained-glass windows that capture the sun by day and the moon by night, casting divine light across the sacred floor. Hymns rise at every hour, weaving a continuous song of devotion to the Eight, their names etched into marble and memory.
Market stalls bloom along the square’s edges, their silken awnings catching the breeze, offering divine relics, fragrant spices, and star-kissed fruit from sacred groves.
At night, the square transforms. Lanterns filled with captured starlight are lit, casting soft, dreamlike glows that dance across the stone. Performers gather, prophets speak in riddles, and both moon and sun-blessed walk the same paths—though never without tension.
The Square is not just a place of gathering—it is the soul of Aurum’Vel.

MOUNT NYTHERIS
Perched at the edge of the sky, Mount Nytheris is more than mountain—it is memory, monument, and cradle of origin. Its summit pierces the bridge between realms, where starlight falls like snow and mortal breath grows thin. It was here that the Four Divine Beings once touched the mortal realm, and where the Eight Chosen first received the ichor of their divinity.
It is now the quiet domain of the Fatekeeper, who returned to its heights when their prophecy first shattered the balance.
Within its halls, the Sacred Banquet Hall still holds echoes of laughter and law, where gods and worshippers once feasted side by side. The Archives of the Gods lie deeper within, sealed behind runes only the divine may read—scrolls inked with forgotten truths and futures not yet written. The Solstice Courtyard, open to both moon and sun, remains untouched by time, its marble reflecting constellations no longer known to man. And the Balcony, windswept and solemn, overlooks all of Aurum’Vel—a place where gods once watched their creation in peace, and now visit in silence, one by one.

THE GARDENS
Nestled at the city’s heart lie the Gardens of The Golden—a serene oasis where marble columns entwined with blooming vines rise toward the sky, and fountains sing gentle melodies beneath the warm sun. Inspired by the sacred groves of the ancient world, these gardens weave a tapestry of fragrant blossoms, olive trees, and softly rustling laurels, inviting all who enter to breathe in timeless peace.
Marbled pathways meander through secluded groves and sun-dappled clearings, where stone benches and vine-covered pergolas offer quiet refuge. Statues of gods and heroes stand sentinel, their serene gazes watching over lovers, poets, and philosophers alike. At twilight, lanterns flicker to life, casting a golden glow that blends with the fading light, turning the gardens into a dreamscape where reality and myth entwine.
The Gardens of The Golden are not merely a place of beauty but a sacred space for reflection, inspiration, and whispered promises beneath the watchful eyes of the divine.

THE BATH HOUSE
Tucked between ivory courtyards and moonlit colonnades lies the Bath House, a sacred retreat where body, mind, and soul are purified in waters kissed by both sun and starlight. It is said the first pools were blessed by the gods themselves—one infused with solar gold, the other with lunar silver—creating a place where even immortals come to shed their burdens.
Within its sprawling marble halls, soft steam curls around carved archways and mosaic floors glimmer beneath the surface of heated pools. Attendants clad in sheer robes move silently through the mist, offering oils scented with stardust orchids, golden milk for the weary, and quiet conversation for the restless.
There are three wings:
- The Solar Pools, open-air terraces where golden light pours through crystal skylights, reserved for the warriors and sun-blessed.
- The Lunar Chambers, serene inner sanctuaries lit by floating candles and soft orange flame, where philosophers and the moon-blessed soak in silence.
- The Whispering Entry, where before one may enter the sacred wings of the Bath House, they must first pass through the Hall of Still Waters—a grand antechamber designed to quiet the spirit and cleanse the soul before deeper indulgence.

THE PLEASURE HOUSE
Ruled by the enigmatic Nox Aeterna, The Pleasure house stands as a majestic sanctuary of indulgence and allure. Its grand halls are draped with flowing silks that shimmer like liquid moonlight, and its gleaming marble floors echo with whispered secrets. Within, moonlit salons offer intimate alcoves where desires awaken beneath the soft glow of crystal chandeliers. Designed by Amaros himself, Each chamber is a masterpiece of comfort and seduction, furnished with silk-draped beds, scented candles, and velvet cushions. Hidden passages and secret rooms offer discreet escapes, while courtyards bathed in gentle lunar light invite quiet reflection or whispered rendezvous.
It's walls are where winners of arena tournaments are rewarded and pleasured by Calythea herself. Every victor granted the privilege of indulging in her services is left breathless—pleasured and thrust into the ninth sky, their desire strummed by the ghost of her fingers alone. Here, true ecstasy is reached; every fibre of their soul touched by her divinity.
The Pleasure house is more than a place of passion—it is a realm where trust, power, and pleasure intertwine, governed by the subtle grace and fierce desire of the Nox Aeterna.

THE ARENA
The arena of Lux Invicta rises like a blazing crown at the heart of their territory—a vast amphitheater carved from golden stone that gleams under the first light of dawn. Its towering walls bear the scars of countless battles, etched with the names of champions and legends who have bled for the honour of becoming the Sun-Blessed.
At dawnbreak, the arena awakens with thunderous roars as enslaved combatants clash in rites of strength and valour, their blood spilled in sacred tribute to the sun. Spectators from across the city gather in the tiered stands, their cheers mingling with the crackling flames that line the battleground, casting long shadows as the sun ascends.
More than a place of combat, the arena serves as a crucible of leadership and loyalty—where the gods test their champions, and the sun-blessed prove their worth. Here, alliances are forged in fire, rivalries burned away in steel, and the unyielding spirit of Lux Invicta is displayed for all to witness.
P.S. Slaves are exclusive to the arena. The God of War and the God of Dawn frequently embark on conquests to other realms and return with captives. These slaves are foreigners, brought back to serve as entertainment or warriors within the arena walls.

MILITARY CAMP
On the blazing outskirts of Aurum’Vel, where stone turns hot beneath the midday sun, stands the military camp of Lux Invicta. It is a fortress of discipline and devotion, carved into the earth like a brand upon flesh. Here, under the watchful eyes of sun-blessed commanders, the willing and the worthy come to be forged into weapons for the glory of the sun.
Blood-red banners snap in the wind above training pits and sandstone barracks, while the clang of blades and the bark of orders echo from dawn until dusk. The camp is alive with firelight and purpose—discipline is sacred, and weakness is seared away through sweat, sand, and steel.
Recruits rise with the first light, kneel in worship of Kaelen & Aurelion, and train until their shadows vanish beneath the sun. Some are soldiers, others are zealots—but all are bound by one belief: that the sun is sovereign, and its chosen must burn brighter than all others.

THE ECLIPSE
The Eclipse is a realm suspended in the breath between life and death, where time folds in on itself and reality hangs like a fading echo. Neither day nor night touches its soil—only the pale hush of an eternal twilight that bleeds across a clouded, obsidian horizon. It is the place where the gods do not look, and where forgotten souls drift when the world no longer knows what to make of them.
Structures rise in strange geometry—towers with no end, bridges suspended over bottomless stillness, ruins lit by ghostlight that flickers without heat. The air is thick with silence, pierced only by whispers of memory and soft, wordless hymns that echo from nowhere.
The Eclipse sees what the light and dark both fear to face.
