"Ah, jeez." Her finger hovered over the mouse button, uncertain if she should confirm it. Her face was a bit flushed—was this taking things too far? She knew Anon probably wouldn't care, but… maybe she should still ask him first.
"Whatcha up to?" Oh, there he was. A hand lands on her shoulder, and his curious gaze lands on the computer. Kronii contemplated quickly closing the window and pretending like she hadn't been doing anything, but he'd already seen it. Too late now.
"Just facebook," she muttered, blush rising as he inspected the screen, a small smile growing on his face. "If it's too much, you can say no." Her voice was a whisper now, embarrassment filling her. "I wouldn't mind."
"Pff." He hides a chuckle. Ugh. Now he was laughing at her. She swallowed her embarrassment and made to click away when he stopped her. "Kronii, we've been dating for three months. I think we've made it past 'facebook official'."
"Really?" It was embarrassing how happy she sounded at that, but the emotion was real—Anon was probably… the longest relationship she'd ever had. She still didn't know what he saw in her. He was probably just there for her body.
"Mhm." His chin fell onto the crown of her head, and his hands massaged her shoulders softly. Ah, his hands were warm. That was nice. "I love you, you know," he whispers, and her heart rate doubles in an instant, her blush returning full force, even the tips of her ears burning. "Haha. You always get so embarrassed when I say that." Who wouldn't? She didn't just…
"You…" she hisses, pushing Anon back as she spun in the chair. "Stop doing that!" She pouted, resisting the urge to cover her face.
"Not until you accept that I love you." Again, the words strike her like a punch in the gut, and she doubles over, plugging her ears.
"I'm not listening!" she tells him, humming to cover the noise as he starts repeating sweet nothings in a sing-songy tone, smiling down at her as she curls up in the chair. "Be quiet!" What did she do to deserve him?
