Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house as well as create cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and the amount of water the mop is using.

A mapping feature aids your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pet toys plants, small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've test to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in an intense clean. It also has mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've test.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. Additionally, its mops aren't as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, are required to be replaced regularly too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a space and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. best robot hoover is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
