Notes before we start:

  • I AM NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE FOR DEMONLIST PREDICTIONS.
  • My major inspiration is Sp1rma, who I am getting a significant amount of my demonlist ideas and predictions from.

    • Edit: As of 10/28/2026, Sp1rma has gone over this entire document. I didn’t think it’d spread this far, but I’m happy it did. I will take his feedback into account as best as I can. Thank you all ♥️
  • I am attempting to compile difficulty estimates, other predictions, and frame window counters into an unholy amalgamation of a prediction that will probably be inaccurate.
  • However, I am always open to feedback, and will gladly change something in the nearer future if it feels off, inaccurate, or just straight up bulls&#t.
  • Also note that past a certain point, I will start making up levels, or taking inspiration from others, to accommodate for the extended period of time that has passed.
  • When it comes to GD skill rising, I take a logarithmic approach rather than an exponential approach. Keep this in mind.
  • This timeline will soon be cancelled to make way for the creation of Timeline 037-Beta. Do not expect many more major changes except for level status updates. And yes, I know some major levels are missing.
  • Now, let’s get right into the timeline, shall we?

2026 (12/31/2026)

#1 - GRIEF by IcEDCave and more - Verified by Doggie (#1)

  • After a devastating 97% death on June 14th, followed by another on September 20th, Doggie would gain incredible consistency, at the cost of his mental state. He would begin raging on the level worse than he raged at Acheron back in 2022. However, in the end, he would pull through, and defeat Grief once and for all. Was the Top 1 to dethrone Society.

#2 - Artemis 13 by ~nxhtrise~ mvngo - Verified by Zoink (#2)

  • This level, which received massive backlash over design, soullessness, and overall quality, was supposedly nerfed to Top 10 by Zoink. However, it would still end up somehow being harder than Society. Go figure.

#3 - Society by Neomarbilan and more - Verified by wPopoff (#3)

  • Verified in late June of 2026. Current Top 1 as of when this sentence was written.

#4 - Thinking Space II by CairoX and more - Verified by Zoink (#4)

#5 - Amethyst by iMist and more - Verified by wPopoff (#5)

#6 - Flamewall by Narwall and more - Verified by Cuatrocientos (#6)

#7 - Unnerfed Africa Circles by LinearGD - Verified by ChopBlox (IV)

  • After a brief break between May and September to list grind, ChopBlox would verify this level in far late 2026, and it would place below Flamewall, at #7.

#8 - Eternal Silence by RealVet - Verified by noname228gg (IV)

  • Verified in late 2026.

#9 - Tidal Wave by OniLink - Verified by Zoink (#7)

#10 - Green Bullet - Verified by Nickname (#8)

Note: This year was the official release of built-in CBF to Geometry Dash, which would spark a lot of debate over multiple levels’ placements on the list. In the end, it would result in some levels getting moved up, some getting moved down, and others remaining where they were.

2027 (12/31/2027)

(credit to Sp1rma for a base for this one)

#1: Silent Acropolis - Verified by Hover (IV)

  • Despite having 11 240hz frame perfects, the placement of this level was a lot lower than many expected. Having been verified close to the end of 2026, this level was rated and placed at Top 1 in February. Dethroned Sweeping Demon II.

#2: Sweeping Demon II - Verified by Taiago (IV)

  • After some tragic deaths to 87%x3 and 86%x9, Taiago would be able to verify this quickly after the 2027 new year. Verified shortly after Heliopolis, this unfortunately took longer to get rated. Dethroned Heliopolis.

#3: Heliopolis by Mindcap and more - Verified by Zoink (IV)

  • Verified in mid-February, after multiple buffs to account for Society and GRIEF. Zoink managed to regain consistency on this very quickly, and would allow for this to be the Top 1 to dethrone GRIEF..

#4: Grief (#1)

#5: Artemis 13 (#2)

#6: Society (#3)

#7: Vehemence - Verified by ???? (IDFK)

  • Nerfed/buffed a significant bit.

#8: Amethyst - Verified by wPopoff (#5)

  • Moved up in very late 2027 after MUCH debate between effectively the entire GD community, much of it regarding CBF and lack thereof, considering many victors didn’t use CBF, and many others did.
  • These debates would lead to a proposed and separate “CBF Demonlist,” which would just be the regular demonlist, but sorted by difficulty with CBF. The original list would sort by difficulty without CBF. This, however, was ultimately never added.

#9: Thinking Space II (#4)

#10: Escalator - Verified by Teraaa (IV)

  • Buffed…a little bit

Note: This year would be the year that many previous “Upcoming Top 1s” would be verified, such as Sweeping Demon II, Vehemence, etc.

This would result in a rapid pushdown to many levels such as Tidal Wave (Top 15), TS2 (Top 9), and even Grief being dethroned.

2028 (12/31/2028)

#1: Tsunami - Verified by Zoink (WIP-D)

  • After many months of this level waiting to be finished with decoration, Zoink would finally come to verify the level he had been waiting for. It took him just under a year, and Tsunami was eventually verified in late 2028, dethroning Angelicide.

#2: Angelicide - verified by xtra8nuggies (IV)

  • Despite having lower precision than most other Top 1s out there, the rapid click speeds of this level made it easily harder than levels like Heliopolis and Grief.
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone Silent Acropolis.

#3: KOCMOC UNLEASHED - Verified by Arshadow (IV)

  • Would have easily been Top 1 had it not been heavily nerfed in 2026.

#4: Silent Acropolis (IV)

#5: Heliopolis (IV)

#6: GRIEF (#1)

#7: Artemis 13 (#2)

#8: ???????? (level currently in decoration) (WIP-D ?)

#9: Sweeping Demon II (IV)

#10: Society (#3)

#11: Vehemence (IDFK)

  • Its low placement is beginning to spark controversy.

Note: By the end of this year, some placements and decisions sparked minor feuds within the community. However, the one major focus of the community was the rapid fall of Vehemence, which was believed to still be at least close to GRIEF difficulty, even with its nerfs. This would be fixed by the beginning of 2029, when Vehemence would gain its 3rd victor.

2029 (12/31/2029)

#1: Aeternus by Riot and more - Verified by dewbbs (IV)

  • After many, many years, dewbbs would finally be able to claim the title of “verifier of Aeternus,” after millions of attempts and many deaths at the end of the level.
  • This verification, along with other factors, would leave the GD community wondering what we can even define as impossible anymore.
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone Sakupen End.

#2: Rent Is Due by JemKordX - Verified by ???? (XC)

  • This level’s layout was first showcased in mid-2027, with decoration not long after. The verifier, ????, was chosen later on.
  • This level was meant to be Top 1 initially, but it never managed to hold that spot due to Aeternus being verified earlier in 2029 than anticipated.
  • This level is essentially a fanmade prequel to Tax Evasion with near-identical decoration that features desynced dual wave gameplay and difficulty comparable to Aeternus. There are some debates that this is harder than Aeternus, but we’ll need more victors and opinions to determine that.

#3: Sakupen End by Nick24 - Verified by ???? (N)

  • After a thorough redecoration and rebalancing in 2026, this level was verified by ???? in early 2029, being the Top 1 to dethrone Tsunami.

#4: Tsunami (WIP-D)

#5: Angelicide (IV)

#6: KOCMOC UNLEASHED (IV)

#7: Silent Acropolis (IV)

#8: Heliopolis (IV)

#9: GRIEF (#1)

#10: Artemis 13 (#2)

Note: This year would quietly respark the Amethyst vs TSII debate, but in the form of Aeternus vs. Sakupen End. Some people claimed that the mental stress of a level as long as Sakupen End made it the harder level. Some people claimed that the precision and difficulty of Aeternus made it harder. Either way, Rent Is Due only made the debate even more heated.

A significant amount of new verifications would also come into play, such as:

  • M A N R A Y by Akunakunn (N) - To be verified by wPopoff - Estimated to be Top 4
  • AXIOM by Antecediox (XC) - To be verified by ???? - Estimated to be Top 2 or Top 1
  • SUFFERING by ???? (XC) - To be verified by Doggie - An upcoming Top 1, fanmade Grief sequel
  • Comrade Circles by Zdralavy (XC) - To be verified by Zoink - Nerfed from Top 20 ILL, estimated to be Top 5
  • Concentraxion by Akunakunn (XS) - To be verified by ???? - Estimated to be Top 4

2030 (12/31/2030)

#1 - AXIOM by Antecediox - Verified by ???? (XC) - Song: Encroaching Dark by KORAII

  • Verified in late 2030 after a few hundred thousand attempts. Was the Top 1 to dethrone Aeternus.
  • This level is a space-themed level that utilizes a lot of ship and swing gameplay and gravity trigger manipulation. The gravity trigger usage makes this level a challenge for top players, as most top levels lacked the gravity trigger in their gameplay.
  • The decoration of this level is comparable to that of ORBIT.

#2 - Aeternus (IV)

#3 - Sakupen End (moved up in February) (N)

#4 - Concentraxion by Akunakunn - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level, which had been buffed somewhat by its verifier, was verified closer to the end of 2030. The song for this level will be written in 2027.
  • This level is a heavily memory-based level, with memorization harder than that of LIMBO and Boobawamba, and gameplay that scares a lot of top players away from it.

#5 - Rent Is Due (XC)

#6 - M A N R A Y by Akunakunn - Verified by wPopoff (N)

  • This level, featuring some very unique wave gameplay, was verified by wPopoff in early 2030, and placed at the Top 4 spot at the time, below Rent Is Due and above Tsunami

#7 - Comrade Circles by Zdralavy - Verified by Zoink (XC) - Song: Here

  • Unlike some of Zoink’s other verifications (such as Artemis 13, The Bloop, and Tsunami), Zoink was told that he was not allowed to buff or nerf the level in any way, as the creator had no intent for the level to be top 1.
  • Zoink took about 8 months to verify this level, and it placed in July, at the #5 spot.
  • This level is themed around the Soviet Union, making it…quite unique. The majority of the level is red with tinges of yellow, and features faint images of leaders of the former Soviet Union.

#8 - Tsunami (WIP-D)

#9 - Angelicide (IV)

#10 - KOCMOC Unleashed (IV)

Note: With the turn of the new decade, the Top 1 rush continued. No Top 1s since Tidal Wave had been able to hold the Top 1 spot for longer than a year now, and the difficulty cap was rising fast.

For context, here’s the placement of some other former Top 1s:

|| Silent Acropolis - #13 (IV)

GRIEF - #15 (#1) ||| Vehemence - #17 (IDFK)

Society - #20 (#3) ||| Amethyst - #24 (#5)

Thinking Space II - #27 (#4)

Levels like Tidal Wave were already out of the top 35 with the recent influx of Top 11-50 levels being verified, along with placement revisions now that more people had beaten said levels. Other levels, like Acheron, were also falling fast. Acheron alone was now out of the Top 50.

2031 (12/31/2031)

#1 - SUFFERING by IcEDCave and more - Verified by Doggie (XC) - Song: Still Goin by CRIM3S

  • This level was another tough challenge for Doggie, similar to its prequel, Grief. However, since Doggie had been list grinding ever since his Grief verification, his skill had increased drastically, which ultimately allowed him to beat this faster than others anticipated, verifying it in April 2031, after 18 months of grinding.
  • Fun fact: Doggie jumped from Rent Is Due to this.
  • Doggie also did not have to buff this very much, as it was known to already be harder than AXIOM.
  • This was the first Top 1 to have a 480 fps frame perfect inside it. In fact, to add to this achievement, it has two.
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone AXIOM.
  • In general, this level features decoration akin to that of both Slaughterhouse and GRIEF, being mostly along the lines of Burgadahz’ scrapped part for GRIEF’s second drop. It is the finale in the Slaughterhouse series. (“Oh, but what about INJURY?” shhhhhhhhh)

#2 - AXIOM (XC)

#3 - Aeternus (IV)

  • Doggie has begun grinding this level.

#4 - Sakupen End (N)

#5 - Malediction by ???? - Verified by ???? (N)

  • This level, a remake of a former impossible level, was verified in early 2031, and placed below Sakupen End, at #4.

#6 - Concentraxion (XS)

#7 - Rent Is Due (XC)

#8 - M A N R A Y (N)

#9 - Comrade Circles (XC)

#10 - Tsunami (WIP-D)

Note: This year would be the year of the verification of SUFFERING, a Top 1 that a lot of people considered to be a skill pusher. A lot of people believed that it would take another few years for a harder Top 1 to be verified, and they would be right.

This year would also be the release of 2.3, which would lead to a major increase in level quality…and difficulty.

Meanwhile, GRIEF (#19) has fallen off of the Top 15, joining other former Top 1s like Vehemence and TSII. Slaughterhouse, famous former Top 1, is now 9 spots deep into extended, at #84, and has over 500 victors. People are now severely questioning the skill limits of GD.

2032 (12/31/2032)

#1 - SUFFERING (XC)

#2 - AXIOM (XC)

#3 - Aeternus (IV)

#4 - Candy Fever by Sp1rma and more - Verified by ???? (WIP-B)

  • After initially being conceptualized by Sp1rma in 2026-7, he decided to make the level a reality in early 2027, working together with various decorators to create the final product.
  • This level would be finished in 2028, and would be verified in late 2031, after being nerfed to sub-Aeternus difficulty instead of harder than True Unnerfed Society.
  • Features high CPS wave consistency harder than that of Sakupen End.

#5 - Sakupen End (N)

#6 - Malediction (N)

#7 - Concentraxion (XS)

#8 - Rent Is Due (XC)

#9 - M A N R A Y (N)

#10 - Comrade Circles (XC)

Note: This year was the first year in a long time to have only one change in the Top 10. With the recent release of 2.3, most players shifted their focus to experimenting with the new features and beating levels with the new grappler gamemode.

The grappler gamemode was simply the cube with a twist - if you held in midair, you would begin to fly upwards like a ship as you “grapple” to the ceiling. However, it had different physics compared to both the cube and the ship, which would lead to many people experimenting with grappler gameplay.

On top of this, with advancing technology in most computers, the game’s default tick rate was increased to 480 fps, which also meant CBF/CBS was no longer required to beat levels like SUFFERING and AXIOM.

However, while people were experimenting, many upcoming Top 1s began to accumulate…

Devilicide by Yumemalware - To be verified by xtra8nuggies (#504 ILL, N)

  • Slightly nerfed from its original version (Currently top ~500 on the ILL)

rare by greafer - To be verified by ???? (#162 ILL, N)

  • Also nerfed from its 2026 version. Reportedly now has only 6 480hz frame perfects compared to an original 38.
  • The version to be verified would likely place at around #540 on the ILL today.

Hello (BPM) 2030 by ExtraTONY - To be verified by ???? (XS)

  • Estimated to be Top 1 if rare doesn’t get verified first.

Aphelion by ???? and more - To be verified by Zoink (WIP-B) Credit to Sp1rma

  • Unofficial Heliopolis sequel.

Additionally, we have hit the point where most levels higher than Top 25 on the list are taking at least a few months, a year, or longer to get verified due to their sheer difficulty. Sakupen Circles is now almost in legacy, for context. Grief is out of the Top 20, and Society out of the Top 25.

2033 (12/31/2033)

#1 - SUFFERING (XC)

  • Has now maintained Top 1 status for over 2 years - a new record for any Top 1.

#2 - AXIOM (XC)

#3 - Aeternus (IV)

#4 - Candy Fever (WIP-B)

#5 - Showtime by ???? - Verified by ???? (XC) Credit to Sp1rma

  • Known as the spammiest level to ever touch the Top 10 so far. With brief wave spams reaching a mind-boggling 15 cps and an average clicks per second of 7, this level easily made its way up above the likes of Sakupen End and other spammy levels, like Angelicide (now #15)
  • This level’s theme is like a circus, hence the name Showtime. Some people say it resembles the old event level Funhouse, except if it were hundreds of times harder and exponentially better in decoration.

#6 - Sakupen End (N)

#7 - Concentraxion (XS)

  • Moved up after some debate between top players and many victors.

#8 - Malediction (N)

#9 - Rent Is Due (XC)

#10 - M A N R A Y (N)

Note: Many former Top 1 levels are beginning to fall down and/or off of the demonlist slowly but surely. There were 16 list placements this year. Here’s the losses this year alone:

Sakupen Circles - Pushed into legacy.

Slaughterhouse - Pushed off the Top 100 in February. Now #110.

Acheron - Pushed into Extended in July. Now #79.

Avernus - Pushed into Extended in August. Now #76.

Tidal Wave - Pushed off the Top 50. Now #52.

Amethyst - Pushed off the Top 40. Now #44.

TSII - Pushed off the Top 40. Now #46.

Society - Pushed off of the Top 30. Now #35.

GRIEF - Out of the top 25. Now #31.

Angelicide - #15

Tsunami - #12

With levels like GRIEF out of the Top 25 and Sakupen Circles in legacy, beating a list demon has become a thought of the past for many growing players. But the skill cap will continue to rise…

2034 (12/31/2034)

#1 - Hello (BPM) 2030 by ExtraTONY - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level, which was first showcased in 2030, uses the Camellia song “Hello (BPM) 2030,” which will be released in 2030 to celebrate the 2030 new year.
  • This level features quick wave spamming of up to 12 cps at a time in short bursts, and has 3 480 fps frame perfects, a significant jump from the 2 in SUFFERING.
  • Verified in early April.
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone SUFFERING.

#2 - SUFFERING (XC)

#3 - LiGHtmArE by eightos - Verified by ???? (N)

  • This verification was announced in early 2033, as a planned Top 5. However, the verifier was given freedom of modification, and so ended up buffing the level to be Top 3, above AXIOM. (I know. Buffing an already “impossible” level. Holy hell.)

#4 - AXIOM (XC)

#5 - Aeternus (IV)

#6 - Candy Fever (WIP-B)

#7 - Ultimate Travel by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level is a 10 minute long level that tests your strength and endurance with all 9 gamemodes, even the new and improved grappler. Longer than the famous level every end, with difficulty comparable to that of Aeternus, led to this level being quite influential.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2029.

#8 - Showtime (XC)

#9 - Sakupen End (N)

#10 - Concentraxion (XS)

Note: Most of the Upcoming Top 1s from 2033 started to gain significant progress on them, such as Aphelion in two runs (78% and 32-100%), rare 90%, and Devilicide 86%. Most people believed rare would be verified by 2035, and that Devilicide and Aphelion would follow soon after. But for now, H(BPM)2030 would reign as the Top 1 of Geometry Dash.

Placements of former Top 1s:

Tsunami: #15

Angelicide: #19

Grief: #36

Society: #40

Amethyst: #50

TSII: #52

Tidal Wave: #60

Avernus: #84

Acheron: #92

Slaughterhouse: #132

( Honorable mention - since GD turned 21 this year, the daily level for August 13th, 2034 was themed around alcohol. I am not allowed to tell you the name or creator of the level due to the Multiversal Laws of Time Travel and Paradox Prevention. )

2035 (12/31/2035)

#1 - rare (nerfed) by greafer - Verified by ???? (#162 ILL, N)

  • Verified in early 2035, this level was a major turning point in the GD top playing community. With the unnerfed version still impossible, this nerfed version was just a stepping stone to verifying the unnerfed version of rare, and maybe harder levels.
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone Hello (BPM) 2030.

#2 - Aphelion by ???? and more - Verified by Zoink (WIP-B) - Song:

  • This level, an unofficial Heliopolis sequel, was verified in mid-2035. With many slow-paced timings and 4 480 fps frame perfects, this level easily would have been Top 1 had rare not been verified first.
  • In general, this level’s theme is similar to that of Heliopolis. It begins with a futuristic city that slowly transitions into ruin as turmoil occurs in the background.

#3 - Hello (BPM) 2030 (XS)

#4 - SUFFERING (XC)

#5 - LiGHtmArE (N)

#6 - AXIOM (XC)

#7 - Aeternus (IV)

#8 - Ultimate Travel (Moved up) (XS)

#9 - Candy Fever (WIP-B)

#10 - Showtime (XC)

Note: Not many top 25 levels were verified this year, with the verification of rare taking the community by storm. However, many levels below TSII continued to be verified, pushing levels like Firework and Slaughterhouse into the legacy list throughout the year. Levels like Acheron and Avernus were now both out of the Top 100. Tidal Wave was now #76 (and had over 200 victors).

The loss of Slaughterhouse was devastating for the community, for the verifier, for the creator, and for the 1,593 people that managed to beat it before it fell off of the list. For almost 15 years, Slaughterhouse had been on the list, and for 5 of those years, it had been a popular “starter” list demon for anyone who wanted to try. However, it would fall off the list in August, leaving over 1,500 people with less or no list points, and changing the face of the GD Demonlist forever.

What was once considered the limit…

…is now not even close.

But limits are meant to be broken.

Grief…Angelicide…Tsunami…Aeternus…Sakupen End…Lightmare…rare…

They were all simply roadblocks.

Welcome to the true skill caps of GD.

2036 (12/31/2036) - 1 decade from now

#1 - Devilicide by Yumemalware - Verified by xtra8nuggies (N)

  • Druki spent a long and hard 3 years verifying this level, as a jump from Candy Fever. It would greatly surpass its fellow upcoming Top 1s, and would immediately place above rare once it was verified.
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone rare.

#2 - rare (Nerfed from #162 ILL, N)

#3 - I Tried So Hard by ???? and more - Verified by Zoink (XC) Credit to Sp1rma for the “Save Me” idea.

  • This level, which uses this cover of the song “In the End” by Linkin Park, is a 3 and a half minute long level with theming and decoration similar to that of Flamewall (just not with as much flames).
  • Contains extreme straightfly and some wave sections which made people question the possibility of the infamous Death Corridor being verified. More on this later.

#4 - Aphelion (WIP-B)

#5 - Hello (BPM) 2030 (XS)

#6 - SUFFERING (XC)

#7 - LiGHtmArE (N)

#8 - AXIOM (XC)

#9 - Swing Trials of God by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XS)

#10 - Aeternus (IV)

Note: With the verification of Devilicide, there were no more upcoming Top 1s on the roster with significant progress on them. There were many other main list demons on the roster, but not a single upcoming Top 1. This would mean Devilicide would remain Top 1 for multiple years.

Additionally, with Aeternus almost out of the Top 10, many people were starting to lose hope in ever beating a list demon anywhere on the list, especially with something as hard as f@#$ing Acheron being at #128. If you wanted to beat a list demon, the path to doing so was now a lot longer (especially with Zodiac almost out of the Top 600 and Bloodbath way out of Top 1000).

Levels like Death Corridor (redecorated and rebalanced in 2030) were now seen as potentially possible, especially compared to the wave parts in ITSH (#3). Verification efforts would begin.

As more people began to become much better at the game, jumps like Tartarus to Slaughterhouse became a common thing, and even jumps from Slaughterhouse to Acheron as a first list demon would become increasingly more recurrent. Acheron even has about 1,400 victors at this point.

The next four years would represent what would come to be known as the “Top Demon Revolution,” a period in which the demonlist would swell, in which tens of new list demons would be verified…and a period in which many former Top 1s would be lost from the list forever.

2037 (12/31/2037)

Year 1/4 of the Top Demon Revolution

#1 - Devilicide (N)

#2 - rare (N)

#3 - Unxertainty by akunakunn - Verified by ???? credit to Sp1rma (XC) - Song: Here

  • Most people (and by that I mean ????, ????, and Zoink) agree that this is the most fun Top 3 to play and/or watch in demonlist history. With gameplay from each gamemode that is relatively easy to learn (if you are good enough to do it), this Top 3 was highly anticipated since the day it was showcased in 2036.

#4 - I Tried So Hard (XC)

#5 - Aphelion (WIP-B)

#6 - Kepler-37b by ???? - Verified by wPopoff (XS)

  • This level, an entirely 4x speed level featuring absurd wave gameplay and multiple 480 fps frame perfects, was first showcased in 2035, before getting verified by wPopoff as a Top 6 in late 2037. The song to this level will be written in 2032.
  • This level is quite similar to Andromeda in decoration and theme.

#7 - Hello (BPM) 2030 (XS)

#8 - SUFFERING (XC)

#9 - Random Top Nine by ???? and more - Verified by Doggie (XS)

  • This level (originally called Random Top Five when it was showcased, had to be changed during verification process) is a satire yet rateworthy level, similarly to the infamous Quanteuse Processing. It was labelled as Doggie’s “comeback,” since the last level on the list that he had verified was SUFFERING, exactly one spot above this. The song to this level will be written in 2030.

#10 - LiGHtmArE (N)

Note: There is not much to note here. Aside from Doggie’s comeback after almost six years, the one year anniversary of Devilicide being Top 1, Aeternus (#13) and AXIOM (#11) falling from the Top 10, and the comeback of wPopoff with the verification of Kepler-37b. This year would also be a significant surge in demonlist levels, pushing levels like Acheron and Avernus into legacy in late December.

Tidal Wave is now out of the Top 100, at #108, with Amethyst and TSII close behind it, at #92 and #95, respectively. Levels like Society and GRIEF have fallen from the Main List (#83 and #78, respectively), and even Angelicide is out of the Top 30 now.

Players like wPopoff and Trick say they plan on going on hiatus for a few years, to focus more on life and their own jobs. Zoink, former Top 1 player (now Top 2), even states that he plans on going on a hiatus for a few years for the same reason. Meanwhile, the newer top players, ????, ????, and ????, say they still plan on continuing their contributions to the GD demonlist while they can. Doggie says he plans on demonlist grinding to potentially become one of the new Top 5 players, despite his age (Now in his early 30s). But can he keep up with the rising skill cap?

2038 (12/31/2038)

Year 2/4 of the Top Demon Revolution

#1 - Devilicide (N)

#2 - rare (N)

#3 - Unxertainty (XC)

#4 - Glass96 by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XC) Credit to Sp1rma for the idea - Song: Here

  • This level utilizes 2.3 to its fullest to make some of the hardest memory gameplay known to man. However, with the planned release of 2.4, things were about to get a lot harder.
  • This level has no locked-in theme, since its decoration constantly changes to disorient the player.

#5 - I Tried So Hard (XC)

#6 - NAS NE DOGONYAT by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (N)

  • An unofficial sequel to KOCMOC that is essentially a redesigned version of the old “SILENT KOCMOC.” Using the superbuffs to the original made by ????, and the decoration of the collab version, this level would be verified in early 2038, placing at #5.
  • Similar to the mispronunciation joke with KOCMOC, many people mispronounced this level as “Nass neh daw-gone-yat”, “Nas ne duh-GONE-yet”, or even worse.
  • It is pronounced “Nas nyee duh-GOH-nyat.” PLEASE remember this.

#7 - Aphelion (WIP-B)

#8 - Kepler-37b (XS)

#9 - Hello (BPM) 2030 (XS)

#10 - SUFFERING (XC)

Note: This year would be the year to push levels like Amethyst and TSII out of the Top 100, followed by levels like Angelicide falling from the Top 40 and levels like GRIEF approaching their inevitable plummet from the Top 100. Other older levels that were originally jokes are actually being redecorated, rebranded, remade, and finally being verified and placed, such as SILENT KOCMOC (Nas Ne Dogonyat, #6).

On top of this, upcoming Top 1s finally began to build up again:

  • The Human Limit - Estimated to be Top 1 - To be verified by ???? (N)

    • After its decoration was finished in 2027, no one wanted to touch it until now.
  • Adramalech - Had to be buffed VERY slightly for Top 1 - To be verified by ???? (WIP-D)

    • After decoration was finished in 2028, people viewed it as impossible until Top 1s began to become harder than Aeternus. ???? would take on the task of verifying.
  • Hagnothraustos Credit to Sp1rma - “The Final Top 1” - To be verified by ???? (XC)

    • With the 11 480hz frame perfects as well as the CBF blocker at the beginning of the level, many people considered this level unrealistically hard to verify. However, ???? would take on the task anyways. Some people called him crazy. Some people called him brave. But he would gain some good progress within 8 months, gaining 28% and 80-100%.

2039 (12/31/2039)

Year 3/4 of the Top Demon Revolution

#1 - Devilicide (N)

#2 - rare (N)

#3 - Glass96 (XC)

  • Moved up after some debate.

#4 - Unxertainty (XC)

#5 - I Tried So Hard (XC)

#6 - NAS NE DOGONYAT (N)

#7 - Closed Doors by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XC)

  • This level, a fanmade prequel to the famous former Top 1 ILL “Open Window,” was a level first showcased in 2038, to be verified by ????. It was verified fairly quickly.
  • This level uses similar decoration to Open Window, but the gameplay is pretty different.

#8 - Aphelion (WIP-B)

#9 - Kepler-37b (XS)

#10 - Hello (BPM) 2030 (XS)

Note: This year would be the year to finally push SUFFERING (#12) from the Top 10, after 8 long years of being on it. Another sign of the GD skill cap slowly but surely reaching the unthinkable levels.  The three Top 1s were now racing to be verified, with each of them wanting to be verified before the turn of the new decade.

Out of the three, Adramalech was the closest to being verified, with significant progress, and people believing that it could be verified any day now. However, Hagnothraustos had the potential of being fluked from 36%, as the latter 70% of the level tended to be easier than the beginning.

This year was also the first year in a while to only have one placement in the Top 10, and the first in a long time to have a level get moved.

Meanwhile, levels like Tidal Wave (#138) are close to falling into Legacy, and are scheduled to be off the list by 2040. TSII (#129) and Amethyst (#126) have fallen off the Top 120, and Society (#106) has fallen from the Top 100 (with Grief close behind at #99).

Angelicide is out of the Top 50.

Aeternus is out of the Top 20.

Lightmare has fallen from the Top 15.

2040 (12/31/2040)

Year 4/4 of the Top Demon Revolution

#1 - Adramalech by [ I forgot ] and more - Verified by ???? (N)

  • This was the first of the “Big Three” to be verified, having been verified in July 2040, just before The Human Limit in December. However, THL has not been rated yet as of the 2041 New Year. Was actually significantly nerfed, but is still quite difficult.
  • Was the Top 1 to dethrone Devilicide.

#2 - Devilicide (N)

#3 - rare (N)

#4 - Glass96 (XC)

#5 - Unxertainty (XC)

#6 - Messier 87 by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • A knockoff of TON 618, this level is a space-themed level with gameplay structure similar to TON 618, but actually possible to play. Has some very, very stunning decorations.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2036.

#7 - I Tried So Hard (XC)

#8 - NAS NE DOGONYAT (N)

#9 - Closed Doors (XC)

#10 - Aphelion (WIP-B)

Note: With the TDR coming to a close, the amount of list demons being verified began to slow. The list looked like it had gone through a complete and utter redo in the past 4 years, with many levels being pushed into either extended or legacy.

The most major loss was Tidal Wave. It had sat on the list for over 16 years, and, like former Top 1s before it, became a famous jumping destination for hundreds before it fell off. With a grand total of 900 victors before it fell off the list, the loss of Tidal Wave would leave the GD community heartbroken and worried for the future of the demonlist.

Meanwhile, other levels were also falling fast. TSII was now at #144, with Amethyst close behind at #140. Grief (#111) is out of the Top 100, and levels like Aeternus (#26) have fallen from the Top 25. Every level in the Top 10 now has AT LEAST 3 480 hz frame perfects. Hagnothraustos is threatening to be the first Top 1 with a 960 in it, but only with CBF or TPS bypass. But if the default TPS gets turned up again…things will change.

2041 (12/31/2041)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XC) - Song: Here

  • Referred to as “The Final Top 1.”
  • The difficulty of this Top 1 was greater than any other Top 1 ever seen in the 2.3 update. It is very, very long, and its difficulty would likely place it around #420 or higher on the ILL today, a massive jump from Adramalech.
  • This level has a whopping 11 480hz frame perfects, about a third of that of the infamous unnerfed rare. One of these is referred to as the “Ted Bundy” click, famous for being a 0.2 frame on 480 hz with CBF, equivalent to a timing window of about 416 μs. Not milliseconds - MICROseconds. It is comparable to the first click of Amethyst with CBF - but even harder.
  • Another one of these 240s is a 0.4, located at about 84%. This click is known as the “King Von II” click, since it’s similar to the famous “King Von” click from the former Top 1 “Silent Acropolis.”
  • This was the Top 1 to dethrone Adramalech.

#2 - The Human Limit by [ i forgot ] and more - Verified by ???? (N)

  • This level was verified a bit too late to become Top 1, unfortunately.

#3 - Adramalech (N)

#4 - Devilicide (N)

#5 - rare (N)

#6 - Messier 87 (Moved up in June) (XS)

#7 - Glass96 (XC)

#8 - Unxertainty (XC)

#9 - I Tried So Hard (XC)

#10 - Quanteunamix by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XC)

  • A parody of Electrodynamix, similar to the former list demon, “Quanteuse Processing.”

Note: This year was the year of the verification of Hagnothraustos and The Human Limit. With Hagnothraustos placed above THL, many people jokingly stated that Hagnothraustos was way too hard for any other human to ever beat in their lifetime, and if it weren’t for the first victor to pop up in December, they would have been right.

Hagnothraustos would spark debate in the community, as no one had any clue how we could surpass this without somehow surpassing the potential human precision, nerve, fatigue, or click speed limit. Even players on hiatus, such as Zoink and wPopoff, looked at Hagnothraustos with fear. Beating Hagnothraustos is potentially one of the greatest achievements a human can ever gain. Even the level below it on the list only had 6 480 hz frame perfects.

People predicted that Hagnothraustos wouldn’t be knocked off of the Top 1 spot for multiple years. Some people said it would maintain Top 1 status all through the 2040s, or at least until 2045. Some people said it wouldn’t ever fall off at all. But in the end, it all came down to time and sheer human will, as we now need to close the ~80 space gap in the (2026) ILL.

As if the difficulty of Hagnothraustos wasn’t marvelous enough, the decoration blew the community away. Its decoration was the pinnacle of 2.3, with the background featuring a hyperrealistic star that was almost indistinguishable from the sun itself, and every platform having at least 200 objects alone.

Meanwhile, with the 2040s starting off, the idea of “first list demon” had been completely lost to time, an achievement that would either take years to obtain or wouldn’t be achievable at all.

With both Amethyst and Thinking Space II in legacy now, people were losing hope of ever beating a list demon at all. Time didn’t even matter - now it was sheer difficulty that people were worried about. Want to beat a popular low Extended List demon? Go on! Beat GRIEF, at #124! Want to beat a popular main list demon? Go on! Beat f#&$ing ANGELICIDE, at #62. Looking for a nice jumping challenge?

Try Aeternus, at #34.

Yes. Those were real sentences that top players in the GD community were saying. And because of this, victors of these levels slowly built up. GRIEF now had about 600 victors, Angelicide had about 250, and Aeternus now had a grand total of 126 people who had beaten it and lived to tell the tale.

Levels like Lightmare (#30) were also popular jumping targets. SUFFERING (#23) was also popular amongst the many GRIEF victors, and after about ten years on the list, now had 129 victors to its name.

Players that had gone into hiatus at the beginning of the TDR (Zoink, Popoff…) are now starting to try their best to return to the game, despite their age potentially worsening fatigue. However, Zoink is already trying to grind Adramalech, and Popoff is starting to grind Messier 87.

But something else…

With the release of the long-awaited 2.4 this year, new triggers, orbs, and other features were added. These did not take long to be featured in some high-end extremes (somewhere between Tidal Wave and Acheron on AREDL), and would prove to be potential game-changers in future Main List demons.

Additionally, a sequel to Hagnothraustos was announced a few months after the verification of Hagnothraustos, which has no official name as of 2041. However, the current layout has a whopping 15 480hz frame perfects, a significant jump from Hagnothraustos.

Only time will tell whether it gets verified or not…

2042 (12/31/2042)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#2 - The Human Limit (N)

#3 - Adramalech (N)

#4 - Devilicide (N)

#5 - ENERGYDRAIN3R by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • The song to this level will be written by Camellia in 2031.
  • This level is the ultimate stamina consumer. Featuring an average clicks per second of 12, and wave gaps tighter than those featured in I Tried So Hard and the infamous Death Corridor (#30).

#6 - rare (N)

#7 - Messier 87 (XS)

#8 - Glass96 (XC)

#9 - Dark Dreams by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • The song to this level will be written by ???? in 2028.
  • This level is a fanmade sequel to the famous LiGHtmArE (#33), hence the name being an attempted antonym of Lightmare (Lightmare Light nightmare Dark dreams).
  • It features gameplay similar to that of Lightmare, but much harder.

#10 - Unxertainty (XC)

Note: There isn’t much to note here. This is the first year since 2033 to not have a single change in the Top 4, which is certainly saying something. This pattern will keep up pretty consistently in years to come.

Placements of other famous levels:

SUFFERING: #25

Aeternus: #38

Angelicide: #66

Silent Acropolis: #129

GRIEF: #142 - 8 spots from legacy

Amethyst: About top 180

Tidal Wave: About top 220

Acheron/Avernus: About top 300

Slaughterhouse: About top 350

Zodiac: About top 1000

Bloodbath: i dont even f#*$ing know bro somewhere below #1500

2043 (12/31/2043)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#2 - The Human Limit (N)

#3 - Touching Grass by ???? - Verified by ???? (XC) Credit to Sp1rma

  • This level features a significant amount of difficult gameplay to rival that of Adramalech. It was verified in April, and would be placed in June.
  • Additionally, its decoration was stunning - some of the best ever seen in 2.3, only rivaled by that of HAGNOTHRAUSTOS.

#4 - Adramalech (N)

#5 - Devilicide (N)

#6 - ENERGYDRAIN3R (XS)

#7 - rare (nerfed) (N)

#8 - Messier 87 (XS)

#9 - Glass96 (XC)

#10 - Dark Dreams (XS)

Note: Once again, another year to only have a single change in the top 10.

The name of the Hagnothraustos sequel has been revealed to be Epaneuresis, and the decoration of said level has been finished. It is a 15-minute long level with hellishly hard gameplay, harder than gameplay anyone had seen before. It just barely scrapes the ILL’s 16 cps limit in some brief places, and will be hell for the verifier, ????.

Meanwhile, wPopoff has already beaten Messier 87, and is now moving on to potential new verifications formerly thought impossible, such as Unnerfed Society (which will probably be rebranded and redecorated), which is predicted to place around Top 25. Neomarbilan has accepted to offer to remake Unnerfed Society, so a new version is in the works. True Unnerfed Society is still off the table, for now…

Meanwhile, Zoink is still working on Adramalech, claiming that it may be close to his limit and that it may take him another year to beat it. He currently has 64% on it, and says that he’ll probably beat it by the end of 2044.

While the demonlist slowly catches up to Hagnothraustos in difficulty, Epaneuresis has just started to be verified. Literally no progress has been made by the end of 2043, which is truly saying something about its difficulty.

Meanwhile, Aeternus has fallen from the Top 40, Angelicide has fallen from the Top 70 and is almost out of the main list, Silent Acropolis is now out of the Top 140…

And GRIEF, after 18 years, has fallen into the legacy list.

The GD community was really struck with grief after the loss of grief, am i right? Hehe hehe…nevermind

2044 (12/31/2044)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#2 - The Human Limit (N)

#3 - Touching Grass (XC)

#4 - Adramalech (N)

#5 - Devilicide (N)

#6 - Purgatory by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level is a memory level with memorization harder than that of Glass96. Some people consider it a sequel to LIMBO, but it really wasn’t. The only similarities were the memory gameplay. There weren’t even any keys!
  • The gameplay was enough to disorient anyone who was playing, which added to the difficulty. In fact, the gameplay itself is only about as difficult as SUFFERING - it’s the memory and disorientation that throws people off.
  • This can technically be considered the first completely hell-themed memory level, featuring a theme similar to that of the legendary Slaughterhouse.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2040.

#7 - ENERGYDRAIN3R (XS)

#8 - Sakupen Encore by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level was a fanmade fourth part to the famous Sakupen Series (speaking of Sakupen, Sakupen End is at #48 now). Featuring gameplay reminiscent of the previous 3 Sakupen entries, it would push its way up into the Top 10 towards the end of 2044.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2036.

#9 - rare (nerfed) (N)

#10 - Messier 87 (XS)

Note: This year would have no significant progress on Epaneuresis, but would feature two placements in the Top 10 and the falling of Angelicide from the main list. Zoink would also manage to beat Adramalech on Christmas Day (coincidence?) and would move on to trying to verify and beat more levels, such as Devilicide, and another potential Top 25 level.

Meanwhile, SUFFERING has fallen from the Top 30, Aeternus is now at #45, and Angelicide is now at #79. Many levels are falling into legacy, including Silent Acropolis (#153).

Meanwhile, the skill cap has not risen. At all. Hagnothraustos is just that hard.

There is nothing else to note here.

2045 (12/31/2045)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#2 - The Human Limit (N)

#3 - Forgotten Circles by ???? - Verified by wPopoff (XS)

  • This level is a very dark level featuring very hard NC-based gameplay and some truly devious frame perfects throughout the level.
  • It grew in popularity due to its first click being designed in a manner that prevents any TPS higher than 480 (such as 960 or 1920) from being used.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2039.

#4 - Touching Grass (XC)

#5 - Adramalech (N)

#6 - Devilicide (N)

#7 - PLEADFORMERCY (XS)

  • The song for this level will be written in 2041.
  • This level is a very, very flashy and chaotic level comparable to the infamous level “CHIL.” With so many effects that the gameplay is hard to keep track of, this level was only placed at #7 due to how disorienting it was, not because of the raw gameplay.

#8 - Purgatory (XS)

#9 - Triple Trouble (SOLO) by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level uses a gimmick that allows for there to be three players at once, using what would be the platformer left control to control the third player. When being completed with three people, this level hardly places on the demonlist at all, but one crazy person managed to beat it completely solo, which is an achievement that would easily place at #8 on the demonlist at the time.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2038.

#10 - ENERGYDRAIN3R (XS)

Note: Significant progress on Epaneuresis was made this year, with the world record jumping from 10% to 21% in November. The verifier has already spent over 600,000 attempts on the level, and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Zoink has finished with his Top 25 verification (Surprisingly quickly), and is now focused on Devilicide. Other top players, such as ???? and ????, are starting to take their fair share of chances with HAGNOTHRAUSTOS, after avoiding it for a few years. HAGNOTHRAUSTOS already has 2 brave victors, and will soon have more.

Aeternus has fallen from the Top 50.

Angelicide is out of the Top 90 (it got moved down a few in late August).

2046 (12/31/2046 - 2 decades from now)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

  • Is continuing to break records for the longest time in the Top 1 spot.

#2 - Existential Crisis by ????team - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • The song to this level will be written in 2040.
  • Growing in popularity for being the first new Top 2 since the addition of Hagnothraustos, this level was actually comparable to Hagnothraustos in difficulty.
  • …is what I would say if it didn’t have a full 3 less 480 hz frame perfects than it. It was still not even close to Hagnothraustos’ difficulty.
  • It is also the first Slaughterhouse parody to touch the Top 10 in a long time, ever since NAS NE DOGONYAT.

#3 - The Human Limit (N)

#4 - Forgotten Circles (XS)

#5 - Adramalech (N)

  • Moved up above Touching Grass due to five of the seven victors of each agreeing that it was harder.

#6 - Touching Grass (XC)

#7 - Devilicide (N)

#8 - PLEADFORMERCY (XS)

#9 - Purgatory (XS)

#10 - Triple Trouble (SOLO) (XS)

Note: More significant progress on Epaneuresis this year as ???? continues the verification process. The new world record is 35% as a fluke from 21%, and the new world record to 100 is a run from 46%. The inevitable downfall of Hagnothraustos was growing ever closer…

Meanwhile, Zoink has become the 10th victor of Devilicide, and is now moving back to verifications in an attempt to increase his skill once again. Other players are now starting to announce their hiatus as well, such as ???? (the verifier of the former Top 4 Glass96 and the recent verifier of Existential Crisis).

Meanwhile, other levels are falling fast - Aeternus is now out of the Top 60 after a debate between over 100 of its victors claiming it should be at least 3 spots lower. Angelicide has fallen from the Top 100, and people now fear that it could be in legacy before the 2050 new year.

SUFFERING now sits comfortably at #40, only being so high because it got moved up a few years after the 2.4 update, which was found to have somehow made SUFFERING harder.

Additionally, the infamous rare now sits at #17, falling slowly but steadily.

With RobTop soon to be in his 60s, he has also announced that he plans to either turn over the game to one of his closest members of the GD community, or to expand RobTop Games to become a collaborative effort between him and some others, to make updates faster and potentially release new games as well. On top of this, 2.5 was right around the corner.

2047 (12/31/2047)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

  • Has now spent six years as the Top 1 level in GD. Now has a total of 10 victors.

#2 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#3 - The Human Limit (N)

#4 - Forgotten Circles (XS)

#5 - Adramalech (N)

#6 - Touching Grass (XC)

#7 - PLEADFORMERCY (XS)

  • Moved up after some debate between the victors of the level.

#8 - Devilicide (N)
#9 - Purgatory (XS)

#10 - Triple Trouble (SOLO) (XS)

Note: Nobody even cared that only one change happened in the Top 10 this year - because…

2.5 RELEASED!!

And this update was focused on platformer levels.

With rising technology capabilities able to handle GD much better, Robtop found a way to code in a simple and optional physics engine for the GD platformer editor. Now you have the ability to have blocks be affected by gravity, and you can either customize their weight, or leave it as the default. You can also now push blocks around with your player without needing to use a crapton of triggers to do so. I’d explain this in more detail, but I’d need a whole ‘nother page to do it.

With most everybody focused on experimenting with the new physics in Platformer, attention was briefly dragged away from the demonlist. Even the verifier of Epaneuresis took a break to try out some of the new platformer levels with the new physics. However, he did get a new world record: 38%!

Despite 2.5 being a revolutionary update, no new gamemodes were released, since no new ideas could be created anymore that couldn’t be created with an already existing gamemode and a few orbs or portals. This update would come to be known as the “Platformer Physics Revolution,” or the P.P.R, to most of the community. This update would also attract a lot of players who loved to make platformer levels on their own without any major struggle, which would allow for the playercount to spike significantly, from an average of a few hundred thousand to up to 3 million playing at any time. That’s a full 0.03% of the population, which may not sound like a lot, but…it’s a lot.

Meanwhile, Aeternus sits at #68, SUFFERING sits at #46, and Angelicide sits at #111.

2048 (12/31/2048)

#1 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#2 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#3 - From The Beyond by ???? - Verified by Zoink (XC)

  • This level is a space-themed level with gameplay reminiscent of the former list demon, “Society.” Featuring at least 7 480 hz frame perfects, this level has difficulty almost exactly that of EC, and some people even claim that it is harder.
  • This level took the world record at the time of its release for the longest time gap between the level’s showcase and its song’s release. Since it uses the song “Another Race” (1999) by Eiffel 65, and was showcased in 2045, the gap between the level and the song is a staggering 46 years.

#4 - The Human Limit (N)

#5 - Forgotten Circles (XS)

#6 - Adramalech (N)

#7 - Touching Grass (XC)

#8 - WhyAreWeStillHere by JustToSuffer - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level was intended to be Top 1 all the way back in 2038, when Devilicide was still Top 1. Heck, it was verified all the way back in 2040. However, it didn’t get rated for another 8 years, until players brought it to RobTop’s attention and finally got it rated. It would place at #7 at the time of placement.
  • The song to this level will be written in 2034.
  • Fun fact: This was the Top 1 in 2041 in my original timeline. Yes, 037-Alpha isn’t my first.

#9 - PLEADFORMERCY (XS)

#10 - Devilicide (N)

Note: Epaneuresis had a major breakthrough this year, with the world record jumping from 38% to 72%! The verifier claims that this run alone is harder than the entirety of Hagnothraustos, and is likely most of the difficulty of the level. Epaneuresis could be verified before 2050.

Meanwhile, with the release of 2.51 adding a few new extra features that had been omitted from the original 2.5, many new players were beginning to experiment heavily with list demon levels - using many 2.5 features in the few list demons that were expected to be verified by 2049 or 2050. The GD community was now hyping up the verifier of Epaneuresis just as much as they had hyped Doggie for GRIEF back in 2026.

All the while, Angelicide has fallen from the Top 125, Aeternus is off of the Main List, and SUFFERING has fallen from the Top 50. Other levels were also falling very fast.

As an added note, some people began to refer to Geometry Dash as “the immortal game,” since it had been going strong for over 35 years now, with no end in sight. It had overtaken plenty of other games for the title of “Best game in the world,” and now had at least a million people playing it at any one time. It still had no in-game payments, no ads (except for Lite), and most importantly, a community that just kept growing.

2049 (12/31/2049)

#1 - Epaneuresis by ???? - Verified by ???? (XC) - Song: The Clockmaker by Vexare

  • Finally, after a grand total of 5 years, ???? would pull through and manage to verify Epaneuresis. With difficulty far beyond that of Hagnothraustos, the verification took the GD community by storm, and the verification would even make headlines on Youtube for making millions of views in just an hour. It was the first time in 8 years that any level had been harder than Hagnothraustos on the list, and people wholeheartedly now believed that with enough time and effort, ANY level was possible, as long as you had the determination to beat it. It might take years, but anything was possible now.
  • This level pushes the boundaries of human anatomy. The verifier reported having to do finger exercises and constant breaks during the level just to make sure he didn’t end up with carpal tunnel or any other hand injuries.

#2 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#3 - From The Beyond (XC)

  • Moved up above Existential Crisis after much debate over physical limits, click speed, and overall difficulty.

#4 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#5 - The Human Limit (N)

#6 - Forgotten Circles (XS)

Note: And now we have reached the finale.

The grand finale to all GD Top 1s.

Epaneuresis has been beaten. And it probably will maintain its Top 1 spot for either years, decades, or even forever.

People still say that there could always be something harder, by simply adding more gameplay to the end or buffing to a click pattern. But that probably will not happen for many years.

Like we said about Hagnothraustos, this could very much be the “Final Top 1.”

And this time, we mean it.

With 17 480 hz frame perfects to its name, including some that were less than 0.01 frames with CBF, this level was a monster that no one was brave enough to slay. Additionally, with levels like Angelicide close to legacy (#133) and Aeternus falling from the Top 80, the future of GD was uncertain. Over time, the demonlist would have to balance out and eventually have levels of almost equal difficulty. List demons would keep being made. Former “Impossible” levels would continue to fall.

Welcome to the true end of the Geometry Dash Demonlist.

2050 (12/31/2050) - Start of the late 21st century

#1 - Epaneuresis (XC)

#2 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#3 - From The Beyond (XC)

#4 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#5 - MouthfulOfFiberglass by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level’s name is quite peculiar, but it didn’t make the level any less popular. This level had decorations similar to the Top 500 or so level, CHIL, and every showcase put a MASSIVE Epilepsy warning before showing even a single part of the level. Even playing the level would greet you with an epilepsy warning before doing a single attempt.
  • With these precautions in place, no one would be harmed, which would result in a successfully prevented reincarnation of Backbeat Revenge.

Note: This year would be the official announcement of RobTop Games expanding to include both RobTop and his son, [ ???? ]. RobTop stated that as he approaches the age of 70, he plans to slowly begin the retirement process, and is teaching ???? how to run and code the game just like he did. He has also stated that if he manages to undergo some form of procedure to help him live longer (since those do exist now), he will continue to assist in the development process until he cannot anymore, and also says he plans to live until at least 100, which gives GD a solid 30 more years of development under RobTop, which will be at least 5 major updates.

The GD community is referring to this as the “passing of the torch” to ????.

Some of the community supported this collaborative effort between RobTop and ????, but some people were against it. They believed that ???? may end up diverging from RobTop’s ways, and potentially ruining GD when RobTop finally steps down, in ways like adding in-game transactions, ads in random spots, etc. However, ???? shows no signs of doing this so far, which means GD will most likely be in good hands.

On the other hand, the demonlist’s expansion has now come to a slowing point. Only 5 list demons were added this year, 4 in the main list, and one in extended. This pushes Aeternus down to #87, and Angelicide down to #138.

Only one change occurred in the Top 10, and it was a placement. In a time where every level in the Main List takes AT LEAST 2 YEARS to be verified, it is reasonable to assume that most list verifications will begin to die off. Levels not on the list, however, such as levels below TSII or Society (Now both out of the Top 300), were taking only a few months to be verified, which resulted in levels that used to be on the list 25 years ago being pushed apart rapidly, and the bottom of the AREDL (which now had over 10,000 levels on it) being stretched as if it were entering a black hole. This pattern would continue into the next few years.

2051 (12/31/2051) - 25 years from now

#1 - Epaneuresis (XC)

#2 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#3 - From The Beyond (XC)

#4 - CHRONOS III by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level, a threequel to the level Chronos (which was placed at Top 19 back in 2033), had been anticipated for a long, long while, with its stunning decoration and simply thrilling gameplay gimmicks, including some minigames inside it that still kept the list demon difficulty, demanding almost superhuman speed. The verifier took over 3 years to verify this.
  • The original level, Chronos, has since fallen to the bottom of the list, currently sitting near the very bottom at #148.

#5 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#6 - MouthfulOfFiberglass (XS)

#7 - The Human Limit (N)

#8 - DRAGONFLY by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (N)

  • This level is a new record-holder for longest gap between song release and level showcase (47 years between song (Dragonfly by smile.dk (2000)) and level (2047)).
  • Originally built in 2026 as a joke level (layout), with extreme gameplay that would scare the modern player, this level was slowly decorated over the following 20 years until it was ready to verify. Like the original Sakupen Circles, this level had to be nerfed to actually become reasonably possible, and it still took over 3 years to verify. The unnerfed version is still in the verification phase, and MIGHT be harder than Epaneuresis. MAYBE.
  • One of the first Top 10s in a WHILE to not have a single 480 hz frame perfect.

#9 - Forgotten Circles (XS)

#10 - Adramalech (N)

Note: This year, nothing significant would happen…at all. With the exception of levels like Angelicide being 5 spots from legacy (#146) and levels like Aeternus sitting clean out of the Top 90 at #94, nothing really major happened on the demonlist. Only 3 levels got verified in the Top 20, with the other 5 list verifications being 4 Main List and 1 Extended.

Some levels got moved up or down after some closer examination of their difficulty - for example, SUFFERING was moved down two spaces in July, which left it at #78 by the end of the year - just off of the Main List. Devilicide was moved up a space in December, which left it at #15 by the end of the year. Other levels got moved as well, but we don’t care about those.

Other levels in legacy were now falling fast as a massive influx in levels close to the difficulty of GRIEF or Silent Acropolis began to flood the Top 200. About 30 of these levels were verified this year, which would push levels like TSII out of the Top 400 and Society from the Top 350.

By now, many former Top 1s now have tens or hundreds of victors. But Epaneuresis won’t budge.

Honorable mention:

#17 - Zilchscapes by ???? - Verified by Zoink (XS)

  • This level, an all-robot level much harder than the infamous Nullscapes, is a fanmade sequel to Nullscapes that features difficulty along the lines of Devilicide in a slow-paced, short level. Zoink took about 2 years to verify this - much less time than expected.

Note: This was the first year to not have a single change in the Top 10 at ALL. While a planned Top 9 WAS verified in late December, it was not rated fast enough, and so was not placed before 2053 rolled around. However, there were a fair bit of levels added to the list in general - 1 in the Top 20, 3 in the Main List, and 5 more on the Extended List.

These placements would mean we lost a significant member of the demonlist in late 2052 - Angelicide. Angelicide would fall into legacy in July, after the placement of ????? at #56. Aeternus would be pushed off of the Top 100 in September, after the placement of Ultimaxima directly above it. Aeternus now sits at #102.

SUFFERING has been pushed off of the Top 80, and now sits cleanly at #83.

All the while, the infamous rare has been pushed from the Top 30, and is beginning to fall a little faster. It currently sits at #34.

Devilicide still sits at #15, since not a single change occurred in even the Top 15 this year.

Many former top players, like wPopoff, Zoink, and Doggie, have begun/continued to wind down on top play, but they still occasionally verify the occasional Main List demon and maybe beat another list demon to maintain a spot on the Pointercrate Stats Viewer.

Another potential Top 1/2 has been announced, but its name is still unknown. They claim it should be harder than Epaneuresis, but no one can prove this for sure.

Epaneuresis still does not budge.

Geometry Dash will soon celebrate its 40th anniversary, and people are already planning events and video premiers for said anniversary. It will be a bigger event than anyone has ever seen.

2053 (12/31/2053)

#2 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#3 - From The Beyond (XC)

#4 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#5 - CHRONOS III (XS)

  • Moved down below EC after a general agreement between every victor that it was easier.

#6 - MouthfulOfFiberglass (XS)

#7 - Upload Your Mind by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XC) - Song: 500 by Artifyber

  • This level, jokingly called “Silent Angelicide” by many people across the community, was verified after about 2 years of grinding. It contains mostly consistency-based gameplay with many tight gaps and extremely fast click bursts of 16.66 cps that force you to alternate.
  • A concept already exists for this level. [Link]

#8 - The Human Limit (N)

#9 - DRAGONFLY (N)

#10 - Forgotten Circles (XS)

Note: Not much to note here. We had 3 main list placements this year, alongside 5 extended list placements, pushing Aeternus down to #105, SUFFERING down to #85, and rare down to #35 by the end of the year. Aside from that, there is not much to say.

On the other hand, GD celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, with massive in-game celebrations and even bigger in-person celebrations. To celebrate the occasion, RobTop released the long-awaited 2.6. Millions would hop on the game to grind, celebrate the 40th anniversary, and check out the new features of 2.6, resulting in a player spike of up to 6 million people on the game at once.

Meanwhile, the name of the supposed “Harder than Epaneuresis” level has been revealed to be “DESPAIR.” It is another hell-themed level (we haven’t had one of those in a while) that is supposed to be verified by ????. Its difficulty is currently unknown, as not a single copy is public yet, but people are hyped, and waiting for the decorated version to come out.

It is said that this level, due to being much shorter than Epaneuresis, is much more packed with difficulty, and the creators state that there are at least 20 480hz frame perfects in the level, which will make it quite the challenge.

On the other hand, we also must point out that Tsunami has fallen into legacy, and now sits at #152 on AREDL. It was pushed off in August after the placement of ???????? at #37.

Aside from this, we can now move on, since nothing else interesting happened this year.

2054 (12/31/2054)

#1 - Epaneuresis (XC)

#2 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#3 - From The Beyond (XC)

#4 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#5 - CHRONOS III (XS)

#6 - Upload Your Mind (XC)

  • Moved up above MoF after some general research into its difficulty.

#7 - MouthfulOfFiberglass (XS)

#8 - The Human Limit (N)

#9 - DRAGONFLY (N)

#10 - Adramalech (N)

  • Back in the Top 10 due to Forgotten Circles being moved down by 2 spaces.

Note: Since nothing really interesting happened this year aside from a few previews of DESPAIR, let’s show off the levels that are currently being verified that plan to place in the Top 10!

  • Web33comma260dot8 by ???? - To be verified by ???? (XC)

    • A level that features intense wave spam and repeating patterns, requiring intense consistency and wild stamina. Planned to place at Top 3, maybe even Top 2.
    • Uses the song “Web 33, 260.8” (2018) by Kobaryo.
    • Current WR: 95%, 27-100%
  • SELENOPOLIS by ???? and more - To be verified by ???? (XS)

    • A fanmade threequel to Heliopolis with even more absurd gameplay. Might place at #9 once it gets placed.
    • Current WR: 100% (Awaiting placement)
  • glass96 but uwu ig by ???? and more - To be verified by ???? (XS)

    • Similarly to the modern-day “Limbo but uwu ig idk,” this level is simply another memory level with the same level of disorientation as the infamous Glass96 (which currently places around…#30 or so.). Estimated to place at #5.
    • Uses three different RANDOMIZED routes for the three coins.
    • Current WR: 89% on Coin 1, 78% on Coin 2, 99% on Coin 3

While those are being verified, we also had some list placements this year - 5 in the Main list, and 2 in the Extended List. This pushes SUFFERING down to #90, Aeternus down to #110, and rare down to #38.

Additionally, the verifier of DESPAIR has been revealed to be ????, one of the first victors of SUFFERING from back in 2032. The verifier says he has preparation for this level, and is already streaming the layout version to learn the click pattern. He already has one drop attempt on the level as of the end of 2054.

As a bonus note, Doggie’s child, ???? (commonly called Doggie Jr. by the community), has become one of the 50+ people to beat GRIEF this year, after his father gave him classes on how to progress quickly at GD, as well as teaching him the click pattern. He is the 839th victor.

2055 (12/31/2055) - FIVE FIVE (i am so sorry)

#1 - Epaneuresis (XC)

#2 - Web33comma260dot8 by ???? - Verified by ???? (XC) - Song: Web 33, 260.8 by Kobaryo

  • After 5 years and over 3 million attempts, ???? would become the first person to verify something harder than HAGNOTHRAUSTOS, but easier than Epaneuresis. This level would be placed at #2 earlier in the year, and sits cleanly in this spot.

#3 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#4 - From The Beyond (XC)

#5 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#6 - CHRONOS III (XS)

#7 - Upload Your Mind (XC)

#8 - MouthfulOfFiberglass (XS)

#9 - SELENOPOLIS by ???? and more - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level would have placed at #10 due to the placement of Web33,260.8, but it turned out to actually be slightly harder than THL, which got it the #9 spot it always wanted.

#10 - The Human Limit (N)

Note: This year would be the first time ~in a long time~ EVER that anything would be placed between Epaneuresis and HAGNOTHRAUSTOS. With something to bridge the gap, more were soon to follow.

Meanwhile, there was an influx of list placements this year, including 4 in the Main List and another 9 in the Extended list. These placements push Rare down to #41, SUFFERING down to #96, and Aeternus all the way down to #121. Levels like Devilicide have also begun slipping now, being almost out of the Top 20, sitting at #19.

It has now been so long that some former top players are now announcing their permanent retirement from top play, as to prevent themselves from hurting their physical - and potentially mental health if things go wrong.

  • Zoink has retired. His final hardest was HAGNOTHRAUSTOS.
  • Trick has retired. His final hardest was Existential Crisis.
  • Dewbbs has retired.  His final hardest was CHRONOS III.
  • ???? (verifier of Rent Is Due (#140)) has retired. His final hardest was From The Beyond.
  • Druki has retired. His final hardest was Upload Your Mind.
  • Cursed has retired. His final hardest was SELENOPOLIS.

With the transition of these players from demonlist play back down to the levels they’ve always loved (about Society difficulty), the Pointercrate Stats Viewer is now slowly becoming unrecognizable once more - with the former top player list slowly falling into oblivion over time. Just like levels on the demonlist – players, too, will rise and fall.

2056 (12/31/2056) - 3 decades from now

#29 - Ouranos by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

4x Main List placements, 8x Extended List placements

Locations of other levels:

Devilicide: #23 - Off the Top 20

Rare: #44

SUFFERING: #101 - Off the Top 100

Aeternus: #127 - Would be #132, but it got moved up in the middle of the year. Dangerously close to legacy.

Note: This year, many new levels were announced, many of which planned to place at least above Aeternus on the list. Most of these were predicted to not get verified for another good couple of years, so let’s show the hardest so we can come back to them later.

  • Tri-Dependence: A remake of the infamous Codependence which uses the 3-player gimmick seen in the former Top 9, Triple Trouble (#30). PLANNED to place between #5 and #2. (XC)
  • PERIHELION: A fanmade Aphelion antagonist (Not a sequel) with much harder gameplay. Planned to place between #7 and #20, according to the verifier. (XS)
  • HATRED: Another hell-themed level with gameplay similar to Devilicide. Planned to be between Top 10 and Top 5. (XS)

As an added note, the decoration of DESPAIR has concluded, and the verifier is now making significant progress on the decorated version, with 10% x2 and 96-100 x5. They have yet to make their first drop attempt (17%+) on this version.

wPopoff has retired. His final hardest was Forgotten Circles.

???? (verifier of rare when it was Top 1) has retired. His final hardest was Web33comma260dot8.

#9 - CHRONOS III (XS)

  • Nuked by 2 spaces after difficulty reviews from multiple other victors saying it was much easier than the list claimed it to be.

#10 - Tyrannus by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • A level that got verified in late December of 2056, and took a while to be rated, so it didn’t get placed until June.

Honorable Mentions:

#11 - Coreliance (WIP-B?) - Credit to Sp1rma

  • An unofficial sequel to Codependence that features two-player gameplay that would scare someone in 2026. Each side is roughly Tsunami difficulty.

New levels are located at: #10, #11, #18, #31, #58, #64, #95, #109, #112, #125, #130, #148

(6x Main List placements, 6x Extended list placements)

Placements of other levels:

Devilicide: #26 - Three levels placed above

Rare: #49 - Four levels placed above, moved down one space

SUFFERING: #108 - Seven levels placed above

Aeternus: #138 - Eleven levels placed above

Sakupen End: Legacy. RIP Sakupen End 2030 - 2057

Notes: Not much to note here. However, there has been slight improvement on DESPAIR, with the verifier now having the level in 5 runs: 19%, 17-39, 39-61, 59-89, and 88-100x2.

On the other hand, the three levels I mentioned earlier are gaining some progress. PERIHELION has 75%, HATRED has 33%, and Tri-Dependence (SOLO) has 20%.

Doggie has retired. His final hardest was The Human Limit. His son will take his place.

Diamond has retired. His final hardest was Devilicide.

Conix has retired. His final hardest was SUFFERING.

???? (Verifier of Adramalech) has retired. His final hardest was Epaneuresis.

2058 (12/31/2058) - The hints at something new…

#9 - Tyrannus (XS)

#10 - CHRONOS III (XC)

  • Nuked another space after close inspection of Tyrannus.

Honorable mention:

#14 - PERIHELION by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • Verified in mid-2058, this level would initially be placed at #18, but would get moved up four spaces later on, after some more detailed discussion.

New levels are located at #14, #25, #35, #47, #68, #93, #114, and #137.

Other level placements:

Adramalech: #16 - One level placed above

Devilicide: #28 - Two levels placed above

Rare: #53 - Four levels placed above

SUFFERING: #110 - Six levels placed above, moved up four spaces

Aeternus: #146 - Eight levels place above

Notes: Recent technological advancements in human biology have hinted at ways to improve one’s motor skills, reaction time, and general precision by potentially hundreds of times. While still in the testing phase, GD players were speculating whether top players could bring this method into effect in Top play later on. If this were to become the case, swift clicks could become a possibility in list demons, meaning the demonlist would never be the same.

DESPAIR has had some good progress on it so far, with the level now done in 3 runs after the verifier got the marvelous runs of 42% and 59-100, seemingly out of nowhere.

Additionally, the official ownership transfer of GD from RobTop to ???? is taking effect, and the game is temporarily labeled as being owned by both RobTop and ???? for the time being.

Denni has retired, marking the official end of the TCD group. Fly high, TCD.

  • His final hardest was From The Beyond.

???? (verifier of Triple Trouble (SOLO)) has retired. His final hardest was glass96 but uwu ig.

2059 (12/31/2059)

#1 - Epaneuresis (XC)

  • Has now celebrated its 10-year anniversary as Top 1.

#2 - Tri-Dependence by ???? - Verified by ???? (XC)

  • After 3 years of trying to verify it solo, ???? finally pulled through and managed to beat the entire level on his own. This level would push HAGNOTHRAUSTOS down another space, and also place cleanly in between Epaneuresis and W33,260.8.
  • This was the level to push Aeternus into the Legacy List on 7/19/2059.

#3 - Web33comma360dot8 (XC)

#4 - HAGNOTHRAUSTOS (XC)

#5 - From The Beyond (XC)
#6 - HATRED by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level was verified shortly before Tri-Dependence, and would place at the #5 spot at the time. The verifier was given huge props for this achievement, as this verification was a jump from Adramalech.

#7 - glass96 but uwu ig (XS)

#8 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#9 - Upload Your Mind (XC)

#10 - MouthfulOfFiberglass (XC)

New level placements are located at #2, #6, #13, #48, #60, #86, #101, #130, and #149.

Other level placements:

Adramalech: #19 - Three levels placed above

Devilicide: #31 - Three levels placed above

Rare: #57 - Four levels placed above

SUFFERING: #117 - Seven levels placed above

Aeternus: Fell into legacy in late July. #155 - Nine levels placed above.

Note: This year was yet another turning point for the demonlist. On July 19th, 2059, when Tri-Dependence was placed at #2 - the fifth list placement of the year - Aeternus would be pushed into the legacy list once and for all. After 3 decades of dominating the list with its presence, the legacy of Riot, his levels, and Aeternus in general, finally comes to an end on the demonlist.

Every level on the demonlist is now harder than Aeternus in some way. Much, much harder. SUFFERING was next - that fact was undeniable. But SUFFERING would need another few years to be pushed off.

On the other hand, the verification of DESPAIR creeped ever-closer: The verifier got 68% on the level, closing it down to two runs by the end of May. With his recent consistency and general determination to complete the level, it was certain that DESPAIR would be the Top 1 to dethrone Epaneuresis.

2060 (12/31/2060) - Oh, dear god.

#1 - DESPAIR by ???? - Verified by ???? after over 3 years (XS)

  • After over 3 years, almost a million attempts, and a death to 98% in mid-August, DESPAIR would finally be verified in October, being near-instantly rated and placed at the #1 spot, above Epaneuresis. This level is harder than Epaneuresis by a small margin, but it’s still enough.

New levels are located at #1, #18, #25, #65, #68, #74, #135, and #150.

Note: Finally, after 11 years of Epaneuresis reigning supreme as Top 1, a new Top 1 has kicked it from its throne. A new era begins.

However, with that being said, Top 1 progression was sure to begin accelerating again in the next few years, due to the human biotech I mentioned earlier becoming more widespread. The first GD player to test out the biotech was ????, top 3 player in the world. His skill increased immediately. He gained the ability to do consistent 16 cps spam with one hand. He gained the ability to consistently control two players independently without an issue.

But the scariest part of all that?

He became the first person to do a swift click on the vanilla tick rate (480 TPS).

This was scary to the GD community. The fact that swift clicks were possible for those who had the biotech meant that the demonlist could end up with levels that were otherwise impossible for any other GD player, unless these enhancements became cheap and accessible for the public.

???? would go on to beat simple levels involving swift clicks, including a challenge that was 9 consecutive 60hz swifts in a row. He learned how to do rapidfire swifts, as well as swifts on both hands. He became globally recognized as one of the best players.

Of course, because it worked so well for ????, other top players began to try out the enhancements, too.

This rapid development will continue into the 2060s.

#9 - Existential Crisis (XS)

#10 - Dawn of Chaos by ???? - Verified by ???? (XS)

  • This level is the first recorded level in history to have been verified by someone with the enhancements. This level does not have any swift clicks, but it does contain gameplay that would normally drain the stamina out of a person quite easily. The verifier only took a grand total of 3 months to verify this.
  • This would cause a full 1-month civil war in the community over whether Pointercrate should accept it or not.
  • Anyone without enhancements would take years to beat this.

Other level placements:

Adramalech: #19 - Two levels placed above

SUFFERING: #129 - Six levels placed above

New levels are located at #10, #15, #29, #41, #42, #78, and #134.

Note: This year would be the year of the first list demon verified by someone with bio-enhancements. People thought it wouldn’t start so quickly, but it did. In general, what should have taken years only took a few months.

The Pointercrate developers, as well as the developers of every other list, began panicking. How should bio-enhanced verifications be viewed? Botting? No, the person is still actively playing. TPS bypass? Nope. Still vanilla tick rate.

For a time, the placement of Dawn of Chaos was put on hold so this argument could be settled. The usage of bio-enhancements was ultimately accepted as they became more widespread across top players, and levels verified with bio-enhancements were given a tag to label them as such - a warning that it’s not as easy as the verifier made it seem.

Meanwhile, other players had different plans. Swift clicks continued to be practiced by many other players, on different tick rates, in different sequences, and even mixed randomly into other non-list demons (like Aeternus or even Sakupen End). Someone had already successfully done a swift click on 1440 TPS, which led to fear that the formerly forgotten level “Tax Evasion” could be verified very soon.

In general, the community was scared. If the enhancements didn’t become more accessible for the public, the top players would have an unfair advantage at top levels in the future. If they stacked these enhancements, they could legitimately start grinding levels like CORTEX BREAK or Open Window. We didn’t want that.

On the other hand, 2.7 released this year, with only a few new features along with it. 2.7 was marked as “The Last RobTop Update” by the community, since…

The transfer between RobTop and his son is complete.

RobTop, now approaching the ripe old age of 73, has announced that he will be demoting himself from full owner to co-owner, with his son ???? being the new owner of RobTop Games. The name of the company has not been changed, to honor RobTop’s legacy.

In general, the face of Geometry Dash has changed significantly.

In terms of Upcoming Top 1s, a new one is being built, and it’s horrifying.

The level is called “NOVUM FUTURUM,” and will be the first Top 1 to have a swift click in it.

In fact, it has three of them.

Additionally, due to how fast the enhancements boost skill (someone with the enhancements managed to beat Epaneuresis in only 7 months), the level has to be SIGNIFICANTLY harder than Epaneuresis. People were now ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that we had surpassed unnerfed rare in difficulty, and it was all because of these damned enhancements in people’s brains and bodies.

The level is planned to be completed by the end of 2062.

In general, if you’ve been brave enough to read this far into the hell that is post-2040, congratulations. You’ve hit the point where I’m using future technological advancements to add to my predictions, since I had no other ideas otherwise. You can thank the “Open Window in 4 runs (theoretically)” video on YouTube for giving me the inspiration. Thank Timeline 923-Zeta.

Thanks to that video, I now have enough ideas to extend this timeline to AT LEAST 2080 or further.

Additionally, if you have been here since I first shared this on the Sp1rma Discord (since I added 2052 i think), I thank you for your time, and honestly, I didn’t think I’d get this much support for this, considering 90% of the future years look like a mental illness without context…

All I have to say now is to get ready. The skill cap is about to hit the fan.
