my favorite intellects that i like studying a lot include (but not limited to): t.s. eliot, arthur rimbaud, virginia woolf, carl gustav jung, percy bysshe shelley, clarice lispector, john steinbeck, charles baudelaire, nathaniel hawthorne, w. b. yeats, matsuo bashō, christopher marlowe, albert camus, mary shelley, botticelli, edgar allan poe, virgil, homer, and william shakespeare. i am a huge fan of t.s. eliot's works, and i mostly study modernist and romanticist movements in literature. i plan on specializing in these two fields. i major in english language and literature, but i also i study film, linguistics, art history, music, psychoanalysis, and british history as well. i do think of myself as someone who is highly spiritual, and thus, i try to study spirituality too.
my favorite musicians of all time are the beatles, david bowie, duran duran, japan, new order, bauhaus, the smiths, talking heads, buffalo springfield, nick drake, cocteau twins, the cure, ryuichi sakamoto, pink floyd, can, led zeppelin, swans, unwound, fleetwood mac, and joy division. i do also enjoy solo works or side projects of said bands. i tend to collect albums from time to time. i mostly enjoy genres such as new wave, experimental, synth-pop, hyperpop, dubstep, art rock, post-punk, goth-rock, and so on. i tend to listen to a variety of artists and genres, so, i guess it's safe to say that i enjoy a bit of everything.
