Liam's Guide to a Broken Kindgdom

The Spawn

Yaofan did a splendid job mapping it out, even if we lack the means to publicize the maps as of now. The location is ideal, we are isolated and not lacking in resources, we are only missing the means to use them properly which can be fixed with time and effort.
We don't know what the outside world is like beyond the mountains, but if it's as similar to the game as it has been up to now it will not be friendly. We have been given the tools, now it's time to use them.
The villagers are a mix of players and realized NPCs, I am much more worried about the players, they are an unknown and they are not taking the situation well for the most part, they clearly don't have the same drive as if they were playing normally. The NPCs are doing better, and I know everything I need to know about them already, they will be useful in getting out of this.
Most of them are unprepared for the situation, so it falls to me to make sure we survive.
I failed enough already.

Players

Egawa Taro/Rip Vandernail

I think he's a fan, I didn't know I had those, infamy describes me better than fame, but he mus not be the only one, there are a couple more. A good kid with a very high sense of responsibility, or maybe it better to say comunity. Seems to have taken the transfer better than most and actively helps around, he even engages in basic farming strategies from time to time, i need to give him some tips about that. He needs to relax a bit, around me at least, but in general he's quite competent. He tends to put others before himself, I see him helping out at the mind and foraging while he ignores what should be his specialty, the dedication is admirable but I think it would be better for him to focus on his class and research, it will open routes to make his current jobs easier too.

Potential

Rune Forgers take magic and turn it into items, the utility is amazing, the power can be hard to match, the learning curve is sadly equally as steep. You need to be a programmer to use this class optimally, but when used right you can win a battle before it even starts. The class itself has a lot of potential for breaking the game, Rune magic in general can create some of the best glitches, and Taro seems to have the right personality to bring out something good from it. I just need to push him in the right direction. He looks unusually interested in the healing classes around him, it wouldn't be optimal but a Medic extra class could do him good if it's within his interests. As much as I like optimizing I am the living reminder that sometimes liking something is better than being optimal.

Undisclosed/Necrolord Sephidrach

I remember this guy, an RP player covered in cosmetic items, I don't think he even had armor under that. Rather than the transfer he seems to be having the most trouble with his own body, I guess some people really do have no wish to live what they fantasize about. Honestly he's a mess, he would be dead if he was alone, lucky for him the village collectively adopted him. Despite the constant complaints and panic attacks he does at least try to help, it tends to cause more problems than it solves but it shows that he is willing to put in some effort. Reminds me of a small animal, hopefuly he grows up, he may be an actual kid for all I know.

Potential

A classic archetype, the Necromancer is known to be powerful, not much to say on that topic. If he gets over the disgust he feels for his own existence this class is pretty fitting for him, it can keep him safe and far from the battlefield but he needs to command the undeads well, not everything can be beaten by sheer numbers. It would be a lot of work but between me and Taro we could equip the undeads decently well, it would make losing them more of a problem but if Sephi learns to be a good support it could lead to a very strong army with no risk for the villagers. I think he should be an Archon, the ability to teleport out of danger would do him good, and is a good panic button to press rather than just freezing on the spot.

Kimiko Yuki/Yaofan

A fellow veteran, I remember the legends of the wandering princess, she played the game almost as much as me, she probably played it properly more than me. She disappeared at the start then came back as if nothing happened and took on the role of unofficial leader, right now logistic and survial are in high demand and she provides both, no wonder the villagers swarmed her. Normally almost emotionless, she is considered lazy by most and regularly disappears to who knows where, I think she's just tired. I respect the effort she puts into helping the village, it's not easy, that's why I do it from the shadows. I hope she gets to relax when the situation stabilizes more, my research into earth magic will help with that hopefully. I try to lift her spirits sometimes, not sure if it helps. I do wander what she does when she disappears, she can't always be sleeping, I know her skills cut down her needs.

Potential

You can do a lot of fun stuff with a Vagrant, and she decided to go all in on the class. The utility is undeniable but what people often miss is the broken combination of stealth and a massive inventory, even more in this world where gravity does its job even better. A well built Vagrant has the potential to be a living Swiss army knife, with a too for every occasion, sadly they often lack the specialization to stand out, which is why they are usually an extra class. The dedication needed to master a single class is impressive, and she already managed to reach the peak of Vagrant power once so I have no doubts she can do it again. Many exploits that use stealth should work here too, and the inventory seems untouched too, I need to teach her to stack unique items to see if it works.

Ueto Mio/strawberrycake0923

Small, shy, cute a character that seems made more for roleplay than adventure but she is a magic class so appearance can be decieving. She seems new to it all, not just the transfer but the game in general, so she will require more guidance than others. Behind her shyness there is some maturity, so she's probably way older than her character appears, and she seems to rely on her advisor a lot, it's not a bad thing for now but I hope she grows out of it. Most humans have a natural need to protect cute things, I have the instinct to protect less experienced players, the result is sadly obvious as much as I don't like to admit it. She's not useless by any means however, and her choice of magic was very good, not sure if I have the advisor to thank for that but I would rather have faith in her.

Potential

Wizards are the default class for those that want to break the game, I briefly played one in the beta and they only got stronger since then. One of the few classes that in my opinion can perfectly stand on its own, the access to Ritual Magic only makes it better. Right now it's frankly speaking not worth it, rituals of this level are too much effort for what they do, but it will be able to bypass element requirements in the future. The only limit to the class is how much effort you put into it so it will have to depend on her, I will help where I can. I was hoping to have at least one wizard, this means I don't have to take it as my first extra class. I can't wait to make her cast nuke.

(Former)NPCs

Arthur Wode

Good old Arthur, I remeber his quest, the boss was pretty good for farming, shame they patched it after I found how to get there. He seems to have a bit of an identity crysis going on, he almost remebers the old deleted quest where he was allowed to be an adventurer, but most of his personality is still the same as before it. Overall a standard NPC, most people would just ignore him, but he always did have a hint of something more in his dialogue. Helpful even outside of his area of expertise he at the very least seems to have the right personality to be a wandering hero. Not the brightest, the devs must have a grudge against him as they gave him a debuff to Int, he still does his best with what he has.

Potential

He can be a hero, he has the nature and drive for it, they are just repressed. I finished his quest, I may be the only one that did outside of devs testing if they even bothered, so I know what he can do. His basic warrior skillset is simple but effective, not much to exploit there more than just optimizing cooldowns and skill activations, he is supposed to get a skill that does bonus damage to plant enemies and wood in general but the trsnfer may have messed with that. The only problem is getting him there, he needs to be awakened, now I could try it whenever but the thing is, we don't need a hero now. Right now at the start of our survival a lumberyard worker is more useful than another wandering warrior, but one day I will remind him of who he's supposed to be, and I will give him the Hero's Axe again.

Fathoms

The beastmen fishing tutorial, her skill made her quite popular to those in the know, not many were aware of the fact her 15% buff isn't limited to fishing. After realization she seems to have gtten a new goal to be "queen of the seas", i have no idea how that happened and that's surprising. A bit odd and strangely clingy at times, she acts the most different of any NPC that was transfered with us, but overall she's pleasant to be around. Not likely to research by herself, I will need to convince her to at least learn magic skills if we don't want to rely on what she gets on level up, at least she listens when people talk, most of the time.

Potential

Depth Caller is a minion class mixed with a buffer/debuffer, Orders work on players as much as they work on summons. Being a sort of ruler may not be that farfetched of a goal for her, at least power wise, her personality is lacking for that. I need to make sure she learns as many different magics as possible, her base summoning skill is way better than the summoner one in that regard. Being a beastman she could easily go into melee later, she even has a bite skill already, but the real power comes with the summoner path. The right combination of orders can make fishes fight on land as well as they do in water, or bring the water with them. An old glitch allowed for infinite fishes to be summoned, they patched it, but with the right setup I may be able to recreate it anyway.

Abbadon

I don't want to use it, but I may need to. As much as I hate it the weakpoint targeting is really useful.
