Ryan’s Piracy Thread:
Definitions of some pirate terms:
DDL: Direct Download
VPN: A virtual network that hides your IP and is completely private.
Torrent: A peer-to-peer file shared anonymously. The reason you need a VPN when torrenting is cuz your ISP can view what you’re downloading when you torrent and will send you threat letters and warnings depending on where you live. Don’t torrent without a VPN
Seeding: Seeding is something you do after downloading your torrent. The more people that seeded the torrent file the faster it downloads
Do this before:
Use firefox with ublock to block ads cuz most piracy sites have ads to stay funded and stay up. Under my filters in ublock turn on all of them.
Use qBittorrent when torrenting. Don’t use utorrent cuz it’s a crypto miner and has other weird shit on it. Also always make sure to seed after torrenting. Don’t be a dick
Change your DNS settings, I personally like Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS.
Use a VPN. When using DDL websites you don’t need a VPN but when torrenting you definitely do need one. I recommend ProtonVPN, Mullvad or Windscribe

Music:
General music
FreeMP3Download.net
TubeMP3
Slavart
Windows Spotify Adblocker
spotDL finds songs from Spotify playlists on YouTube and downloads them - along with album art, lyrics and metadata.
Imo, the best way to listen to music is with uBlock and Youtube Music. But if you like downloading, some of the best downloading sites are up there (TubeMP3, FreeMP3Download, and Slavart)
Android Music
Spotify Cracked
NewPipe
Youtube Vanced, Mirror 2, Mirror 3
