[10:13] Xarxes says, "My."
[10:13] Xarxes says, "What a unique group."
[10:13] Eleanor says, "Please help us."
[10:14] Melidoyla exclaims, "Xarxes!!"
[10:14] Melidoyla exclaims, "Hiii!"
[10:14] Sredras Artos says, "Hi."
[10:14] Lila Woodes frowns, glaring at Xarxes.
(Lila Woodes)
[10:14] Gene Al'trisu asks, "How've you been Xarxes? Staying busy with Woe hating you?"
[10:14] Lila Woodes asks, "May I ask why you all are so... friendly with a known accomplice of necromancers, witches, and demons alike?"
[10:15] Xarxes asks, "Isn't that obvious?"
[10:15] Gene Al'trisu says, "I'm a Faeborne."
[10:15] Sredras Artos says, ". . I have no idea who he is."
[10:15] Xarxes says, "I'm rather like able."
[10:15] Sredras Artos says, "So, that is my answer."
[10:15] Gene Al'trisu was raised as such. Faeborne are often kind or respectful to all races, it shows that Faeborne are superior to everyone else.
(Gene Al'trisu)
[10:15] Lila Woodes says, "You're rather detestable, as well."
[10:15] Xarxes asks, "Detestable?"
[10:15] Melidoyla whistles outloud.
(Melidoyla)
[10:15] Lila Woodes asks, "You've committed lots of sins yourself, haven't you?"
[10:15] Xarxes says, "Sins, if you hold this pretentious ideology. Then of course."
[10:16] Lila Woodes says, "Sins... frankly? I don't care much about sins. I was never the religious sort. I just have many a reason to hate you all."
[10:18] Xarxes asks, "Though if you detest me so much, why don't you do something about it?"
[10:18] Xarxes asks, "You used to be an Aenite, correct?"
[10:18] Lila Woodes says, "Me? Funny joke."
[10:19] Lila Woodes says, "Though, I suppose you're close. Former Aphrosian."
[10:19] Xarxes says, "Aphrosian, now that makes sense why you would dislike me."
[10:24] Lila snatches up a Domice, thrusting her hand into its chest cavity and ripping out a fire crystal, before throwing the lifeless body at Xarxes' feet.
"I hate necromancers because I find the act of defiling the dead to be revolting. I hate witches because they stole two sisters from me- one to death, and one to insanity. And I hate demons because Sak'noth snatched my mother away from me."
She points a finger at Xarxes. "What makes you different, little fairy?" She then frowns, pausing as she looks up at him from her five foot even stature. "Though, I suppose, not so little anymore."
(Lila Woodes)
[10:25] Sredras Artos exclaims, "Fai-THATISAFAIRY?!"
[10:25] Gene Al'trisu says, "Nephairy."
[10:34] There was an acceptance of their words, at least the first portion for he could understand why they held such prejudice as he had once walked among the people which likely invoked that ideal in her mind.
"Necromancer I do happen to be, though I am no Witch. My soul is not that which is to be bargained nor traded off to forces undeserving of such. As for Sak'noth? Your Mother likely deserved what was coming, for I have watched over the Demons since they were lesser.
I have watched as every Nation collectively decided to bombard those I spent my time with, the hundreds of thousands seeking our damnation for merely existing." the Scythe was plucked free from his back as the world around him began to ripple, purple flares cracking as reality itself began to snap with his energies fluctuating.
"And what makes me different? I killed Isolde, I raised Champions that were assaulted endlessly. I tear asunder the precious Lifestream to ease my mere travel among the world, for I was born of the Shadowlands. I was granted nothing from your species beyond hatred, pain, and a crippled form. One such corrected upon the falling of Enarr's precious Commander."
There was a harsh chill flowing through the area, a crippling sensation of Death emanating from the Scythe within his very hand.
"I see all of Time cast before me, I know all potential futures to pass with precision on a scale you cannot comprehend. But I still have my soul.
I correct the mortal condition with Necromancy, I give soldiers a chance to fight again, I give freedom to those shackled by their finite lives. What do you do?
Fight, complain, eat, sleep, reproduce and die. Momentary fragmented existences failing to thrive."
(Xarxes)
[10:45] "Deserved it?" The Nephilim lets out with a scoff. By far the worst reaction to all of the things spoken, as abhorrent as everything he had spoken otherwise was.
"My mother is a kind woman- I always told her she was too kind. Always lending her ear to the sorts just like you- witches, necromancers, demons, and those who ought to be culled.
She saw all life as equal, and saw everyone as redeemable. I'm sure you'd have known, if you weren't spouting the same megalomaniacal BULLSHIT that my sister died for!
Even captured and shackled by those of Deep Hold, she still holds that same warmth, that same kindness- but I'm sure you're too fucking stuck up in your obsession with time and fate to see anything around you, aren't you? You're too good for that. Too all-powerful, huh?"
Much as the voices that still ached within her mind begged her to stop- those familiar whispers that she felt more and more were holding her back- her hand still reached down to Libera and Hysteria from her hip, the former igniting itself into a brilliant blade of concentrated prismatic Aether.
"Don't get this wrong. What you're about to feel? It's not coming from a moral high ground, no- Frankly? I just can't stand you insulting my family like that."
(Lila Woodes)
[10:46] Sredras Artos says, "Oh, they're doing it."
[10:47] Sredras Artos says, "Oh well, there goes peace."
[11:02] "Certainly deserved it with the manner you act, clearly you were improperly raised. Such is evident with every world spouted from your maw." the left hand began to move in a very strange motion, a green wispy smoke descending free from his hands while he looked over the sand for a moment.
"You can't even feel them, you have no clue as to what resides within this mind. Redeemable is all creatures, for each can be corrected from their ideologies, each can be born anew with their own universe set free from the shackles.
All they merely become are loyal companions, those who strive to accomplish their ambitious goals free from the tyranny of those like you." the smoke descended over the ground, a horrendous influx of energies could be felt as the chill grew across the sands. A hand would burst forth from the ground, one pulling itself free, then another, and more...
Three long forgotten souls cast down upon the sands raised to heed the Masters call, rising with their weapons of old in order to pursue the bitter sweet justice of acting once more. "I will admit there are faults with myself, Time has stricken me of this worldly connection just as Isolde when she ripped away my ability to feel pain.
Though I am close to all knowing, but far from all-powerful. As even with how far I have come, I am perhaps the weakest of the highest Echelons." as the soldiers formed ranks around him, he simply flicked his left hand toward Lila.
A telepathic message was all he needed for them to begin their march forward, bows knocked and arrows soon to be set free.
"If you can make me feel anything, it will not be comparable to the pain your flesh will endure."
And so, he flew over the Undead, moving with a speed nigh incomprehensible to non-magi.

[11:07] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Xarxes}
[11:07] ** Xarxes has inflicted an injury upon Lila Woodes. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
[11:27] Forward did his Skeletal soldiers march into the fray, seeking to meet their marks while only taking a subtle onslaught in order to be broken completely. Yet should Lila shatter them? The green energies exuding from his form would be more than enough to piece them back together, restoring their figure and commanding them forth once more.
The figure of this Nephairy, this Nightmarish creature moved in a haze, his speed unmatched by countless individuals but it would appear that Lila was uniquely equipped to a revelation such as commanding Light itself. For once, perhaps for the first time in many years this was who could keep an eye over him as he moved in a blur to normal individuals, for she too could at least momentarily reach him.
The blows traded were backed by a level of force only those atop a Mountain could deal, the sands erupting whenever they came too close as the resounding sound of Chitin cracking was audibly present as her blade connected. Pain was void of Xarxes, an inability to feel anything beyond a slight pressure and the warm ichor released from his flesh.
Perhaps if Lila had not been visibly injured... No, he felt the blade nearly reach his neck as he rushed through the field almost like warping through Time itself, she was a powerful force... One which commanded too much mobility, so much that he began to entwine her flesh with runic symbols bound for the essence of Time itself. To falter mobility, to hinder their actions, yet each was precisely placed over the course of the battle. Whenever they neared he would utilize multi-field dilations in time to slow everything before him while speeding his movements to scrawl the runes.
It was impossible to achieve this without foresight, yet being one of the few creatures in all of Meranthe with the ability to properly see the future he could inscribe what was already written while duking against this oppressively unique opponent which has bested Sak'noth in thepast.
Slowly, it would come to a grinding halt as the epic burst of energies from both would send one another back, a black haze managing to stifle his course while a burst of Aether surged from his own body.
And soon they were apart, the distance too wide to pursue further yet the victor relatively clear in the side of Xarxes. "You were far faster than anticipated. I understand why Sak'noth struggled in the presence of you, though even now I see your annoyance growing. Your ability merely preparing to raise.
But Time is not on your side, for you will soon wither. Turn your ambitions away from Meranthe, before you fall to her crippling will."
Having said that, he would not make a motion forward. Rather halting the Skeletons as his gaze fell to those watching, curious should any cease to interfere with him further.
"Do not attempt to fight me. Else you will fall too." turning about, he cracked into the Lifestream. Tearing asunder the fabric of reality with a purple rift coming to life before him, merely waiting to be flown through rather than continuing to assault those present.
(Xarxes)
[11:53] Onwards did skeletons march forth, summoned one after the other to combat the Nephilim. The legions of the Nephairy tried their best to halt her advance- but it was all for naught. For she was one who could match his speed- the minions mere onlookers as the Nephilim and Nephairy blinked across the battlefield in a blur.
Though, it would be quite evident to one such as he- one who was so in tune with the nature of runes, Aether, and even the teachings passed down by Chireus, though Lila would argue it was a mockery of such.
He could feel the Aether flowing through runes on her back and left hand- every time she increased in a burst of speed, it wasn't merely speed, no. She had carved Wayfinding runes directly onto her body in an attempt to be able to blink forward instantly and without warning, as the cost of her bodily integrity. Though, even without this ability, her speed was still formidable, and she was capable of tracking him perfectly. Just not fast enough.
It happened in bursts- strikes of the blade and kicks meeting him just momentarily. And yet, with the momentum they held, they created force that shook the ground with each collision, sands blasting around them and obscuring the vision of the already near-incomprehensible battle of this speed.
Reverberations tore through chitin and flesh alike- though, it was quite clear that the backlash affected Lila far greater, each blink and collision causing her organs to be shaken up even further than her previous injuries had caused.
Blood began leaking from her nose and eyes, having to take more and more time to retreat between blows in order to cough up blood- only to start the vicious cycle all over again.
And those runes... every time she got close, time would slow and she'd feel that same pain several times slower than before. Several times more excruciating.
Until finally- one last explosive clash of Aether sent both flying- only for Xarxes to be the first to right himself and land the finishing blow upon Lila- the result quite clear, even if they were both left standing- but not for long, as bile and blood would equally bubble forth from the woman's lips and onto the sands, a horrific reaction to her self-sacrificial experiment.
"Faster than anticipated, huh...?" The Nephilim lets out as her lips curl up to reveal a smile stained with blood. "But not fast enough. Not yet.
Before my blood runs dry- before these runes kill me slowly and painfully- I'm going to get faster. And faster. And faster. I'm going to reach you one day, and then things will be different.
I will rescue my mother from Sak'noth's grasp, and then I will make him pay for everything he's done. And when that time comes... don't stand in my way."
She raises her hand, middle finger and thumb coming together to let out a SNAP! before she disappears. Still clearly present on the scene, but far enough to not be a threat any longer.
