And when the end of time comes where raging tide
wipes over the whole earth, what is left if not the shadow of our love?

Fate has brought us together to meet, so welcome to my humble abode, esteemed guest. Would you like some pieces of crackers with a cup of tea on the side? Please, do come in while I introduce myself. My name is Marianne, and I am the owner of this place. For starter, you can call me Anne. I'm comfortable with nickname, but for the basic, do address me with simply my own name—Marianne or Anne—unless I have given you permission. Silence doesn't equate consent, unless specifically spoken to you, this rule applies.

Come, dive deeper into my ocean 𓂃 𓈒𓏸

I'm not responsible if you drown, so please listen to a piece of me before the tide sweeps:

  • This account is made with the purpose to be my yume (夢) archive. I, however, do not consider myself a part of any subtwt; including yumetwt.
  • I'm an Artem riako who doesn't share even a slice of him with anyone. The love I have for him is much more than mere words passed in the absent of thought, it's delivered with faith and feeling that is taken out of the tissue of my heart; they are very much real and tangible. I am his lover and he is my lover, I hope you see it as such.
  • I enjoy writing and exploring controversial topics, such as, but not limited to: religious themes; drowning and cannibalism as a metaphor of love; human feelings described in graphic violence; body horror; love, death, and grief; and many more. Thus, this account is labeled as N/SFW. Please, proceed at your own risk.
  • My account is my own sanctuary, I block and remove people to my heart's fill. There is no hard feelings. I respect my own and your boundaries by making sure we don't cross path. This is my way of curating my peace and space, you should do it, too.
  • I take my character analysis very seriously. After all, what is love if not understanding the object of your affection inside and out? I have spent my lifetime dissecting and understanding Artem character as a whole through what his and the main story offers to generate my own opinion towards him.
    • I do not want to see interpretation of Artem's character through any other lens except of my own. I have had enough with the previous discourse regarding his background, and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like a 12 hours long lecture on the analysis of how his childhood, his relations, and his experience shaped him the way he is from me. I also do not want to see any popular headcanon of him, so please do not bring up anything that is not canon material onto my face.
    • I avoid people who are active in Tears of Themis and any other otome game fandomspace in general like a plague. This is done in order to prevent anything from the previous point to happen.
  • TWIN SCALE is a ship I created from me and for me. It is a self-insert banquet where I place a replica of myself inside two dimensional world to roam around. Do not project yourself onto Marianne (me), we have lived two different life, your experience will not allow yourself into my narrative—even if you force to fit.

Ah, that area is too deep. Be careful 𓂃 𓈒𓏸

I'm sorry, I think I should've guided you more here. Come, there are several things you need to note:

  • I am very strict with my boundaries and comfort, and do not have a 'current mutual is safe' policy. I do not restrict how people shall come into my space, but once you are in, I will carefully handpick those who shall and shall not stay. Do not be surprised if one day you find out that we are no longer mutuals, it means I'm simply standing on business to respect myself.
  • My thoughts and feelings are incredibly personal, to the point it becomes uncomfortable for me to share publicly. I like to delete my tweets for this exact reason. Please respect my privacy by not taking screenshot of my deleted tweets, they are gone for good reason.
  • My words are mine and they shall speak their evidence to me. Trust me, I will know if you hard-referenced, or worse, steal my idea and work. There is nothing new under the sun, using same media reference and being able to interpret the same thing is not a problem, but I will know if yours get too close to mine.
  • I write with metaphors and symbolisms a lot, the most common one is to refer to Artem as Earth or Mother Earth, and myself as Water.
  • I keep my circle small and tightly woven. I do not like big audience. Please only come to my space if you are willing to spend a little time understanding and interacting with me. I do not demand your attention every time, but please spare a little time to have conversation with me here and there—as friends supposed to do.
  • My writings are a piece of myself I share with the world, do not try to comment on it if I do not allow you to.
  • I present myself as feminine and strongly associate myself with the identity of a woman both in real life and online space. This, however, is not an invitation for you to immediately assume misogynistic stereotypes on me. I am not fragile nor I am gentle. My hard shell can soften up, but it doesn't diminish the fact I am able to preserve myself. Do not ever think Marianne is (I am) someone who needs to be coddled and protected
    • It is very important for you to not see Marianne as just a pretty face who dabbles with pretty clothes. While working in fashion is typically regarded as a more feminine job in a patriarchal structure, immediately associating Marianne as being the less strong or less capable party infantilizes her as a whole. Do not, under any circumstances, try to say anything along the line of Marianne needs to stay away from danger.
    • Appearance wise, Twin Scale is a relationship between a man and a woman, but please do not project stereotypical heterosexual dynamic onto us. In that regard, I actually do not mind if you see Twin Scale through a genderless lens. There is no man nor woman, there is only two human in love. We share the burden of life, not dividing them through boxes of stereotype.
    • I still refer to Artem with he or him, and stick with the original fact that he was born and referred to as a male. I, however, do not care enough about his gender identity and how he should or should not behave in a relationship as a man. In a hypothetical situation, whether he is a man, a woman, or someone who doesn't relate to the binary system; I will still love him the same.
  • Any kind of intimacy is equally as mundane and as scandalous as the others to me. A kiss is as obscene as tucking a strand of hair behind your lover's ear; all acts of love are just a confession written with different inks, there is no need to make a big deal out of trivial things. By that I mean you don't need to overreact in my comment section if I upload a picture which contains a kiss. Such reaction makes me uncomfortable, I'm just kissing my husband, what is so weird about that?
  • Refrain asking questions that is too intrusive and leaning into sexual innuendo on my face. I find myself extremely uncomfortable reading them, even when I willingly share a content that is more suggestive. If you have nothing to say on such content, you don't need to say anything. This includes remarks such as: 'Kapan ciuman?', 'Ah, sedikit lagi kena, tuh!', or 'Aduh, mana tahan?'.
    • In a similar manner, I will also not leave such comment under your content even when it leans onto suggestive content. I will either focus on other aspect of your content, or will not leave any comment at all.
  • I have 1T1D policy. I made it out of my own volition and care towards my close friends' yumeships. I respect their careful craft and this is my way to appreciate it. Do not force me to add yourself into my list.
    • I know I'm not being neutral at picking mutuals, but is it irrational to have preference? Do I harm people in the process of hindering people—who are clearly going to be uncomfortable being in the same space as me—to cross path with me? Perhaps, do riddle me that.
    • If you wouldn't do such thing, then that is your norm. I do not mind, you do you. Do not, however, apply your norm to me because we have different interpretation of what should and should not be done. After all, this preface is here to let you know we should not cross path if we have different belief anyway.
  • 1T1D: Tartaglia (Genshin Impact); Cyrene, Hysilens (Honkai: Star Rail); Elysia (Honkai Impact 3rd); Griffith (Berserk); Makima (Chainsaw Man); any variants of Nikola Tesla; any variants of Sherlock Holmes; Shay Cornac (Assassin's Creed Rogue); any cast from Tears of Themis; and Jason Todd (DC Comics).
  • Make sure to approach me if you truly want to know about Twin Scale and me. My energy is sacred and I do not wish to share them with people who desires my presence as mere decoration.

Beware! Do not dive there! 𓂃 𓈒𓏸

That is enough, do not come any closer. You need to get out of the water.

  • My account is not a place for people who support and condone the current Indonesian regime, zionism, racism, and the use of generative AI.
  • I celebrate any form of gender identity and love, therefore I do not welcome those who are uncomfortable with real queer people.
  • People who constantly whine and hate on certain things in public, including but not limited to, characters; trope; ship; double; media; and fandom. Please direct your negative energy somewhere else, I do not have all the time in the world to entertain your huff and puff.
  • My creativity is boundless, and they are not reflective of who I am, my moral standing, and what I do or do not support. I write fiction, and I know exactly how to distant myself from said controversial topic in real life. Do not come if you can't separate fiction with reality.
  • I do not extend my invitation to people who think only a certain type of yumeshipping is valid, treat OC x canon as less than self-insert yume, use incorrect and official tags on their yume content.
    • In this regard, I will only invite people whose primary topic of their account is yume and/or OC adjacent. The door will be closed for those who don't dabble on the same topic; labeled or not labeled.
    • If you also use your yume account to actively engage with people of your favorite media's fandomspace, then I have to apologize because I can't let you in.
  • I understand that as human we are susceptible to the need of validation. However, I do not want to see your competitive drive to get likes in your public account. I do not welcome people who constantly complain about engagement. Your yume content's main audience is you, do not expect people to always be there. It's tailor-made for your consumption, not us.
  • You like to dismiss the importance of certain characters' presence in your yumeoshi's development and simplify a character's personality into one certain extreme or put a label on them for the sake of fitting into stereotype to fit them into your yume or shipping agenda.
    • This section especially applies to you if you like to hate and dismiss the presence and the importance of a woman as a whole character simply because she does not fit your narrative agenda.
    • Stereotyping a woman character is even worse. Just as a man character, a woman can also be extremely layered. I do not wish to associate myself with people who can only put women into two boxes of extreme category (the good and the evil) without acknowledging contrasting personalities or variables can happen.
  • Constantly watering down sapphic ships as just yuri!! I am happy to celebrate any kind of sapphic relationship, I think it is a liberation in and off itself to be able to be true to yourself and love whoever you want outside of how the norm dictates us to. However, if your reaction to sapphic relationship is merely confined to just the gender identity itself—and not the inherent complex details of the love and relationship itself—I fear we don't celebrate the same thing.
  • Every person has their own belief, but if you think any part of this rentry is too woke for you, then we can not share a space together.
  • Thank you for liking Artem, but I do not accept people who have Artem as oshi to be my friend. Regardless if you like him in a romantic way, or if you simply like him as a character, it is better for us to never cross path.

As of 01/01/2026 I no longer accept mutual who are friends with my double. If you do not like my rule, good, because I also do not want you here. The feeling is fortunately mutual. Do not come into my face saying that I should be able to curate my own space, because this is exactly how I curate my space to be comfortable: by not letting you in.

image description EXTENSIVE INFORMATIONS
  • Marianne is a persona I stitched from a piece of my flesh using a strand of my hair. Our hearts beat in the exact same rhythm. She is an amalgamation of my past, present, and vision of future in a mold shaped by my real appearance. You shall not—and can not, even if you force to—insert yourself to her (me) since Twin Scale is heavily shaped around our upbringing and life experience.
    • I mostly talk about Twin Scale through first person's point of view. You are also advised to refer to Marianne as me under my content. I am her, she is me. In the same way, Twin Scale is us, not they.
    • I don't mind if you refer to me as Artem's (endearment term). That's what I am, so feel free!
    • On instance of me referring to Marianne as a third person, it is done simply to: 1) make it easier to elaborate on extensive lore and differentiate who is playing the role of who (Marianne who is roaming inside two dimensional world, and Marianne who is talking in real world); or 2) I need to distant myself from the story I'm telling as it is too personal and I wish not to feel so vulnerable in public.
  • Marianne is a part of the NXX investigation team, so I have yume relationship with all of the NXX members in Tears of Themis. Their relationships are strictly platonic and fall under the found family dynamic.
    • I don't have a specific tag for each of them, but I might in the future post content of me with any other LI; be it writing or art.
    • I will also post group date content with three other Tears of Themis' NXX Investigation team's yumejin from time to time, please mute the keyword #XNoteSociety on my account if you're uncomfortable.
  • Twin Scale is not only romantic. Our main dynamic that is shown may be romantic, but beyond the romantic love, I love Artem as a whole: a human, a person.
    • Marianne and Artem's relationship is more than just lovers, so I hope you won't reduce Twin Scale as mere lovers.
    • Twin Scale is about two people with each of their own complexities taking care of each other. If you remove the romantic aspect of this ship, it will still float as my feeling for him isn't confined to mere romantic attraction.
  • I do not mind any CC x CC ships in Tears of Themis, but do not ever bring up any of Artem x CC ships in front me; this includes artemrosa.
    • This, however, does not translate to me disregarding Rosa's character in the line up. She is still her own person to me, an important main character to this investigation team. Rosa is Artem's trusted work partner in the firm, I believe that with my whole heart. Do not come to my space saying she isn't important, because she is.
image description CHARACTERIZATIONS
  • Name holds a great importance in storytelling. Marianne is usually referred to Marianne Egerton, her maiden name, in almost every occassion to show her individuality as a person—and how marriage doesn't diminish her identity as a mere wife. I, however, will oftentime use Marianne Wing in my writing as a symbol of growth and change.
  • Marianne is distant and loathes vulnerability. She is strict with how many people she lets into her life, and most of the time is very avoidant of her own feeling. What I allow you to see in most contents are Marianne through the lens of Artem—someone she trusts the most. Do not let her soft edges around him leads you to think she is gentle and tender, she is harsh and intimidating.
  • Artem is heavily guarded and struggles to see his worth in making interpersonal relationship. While I get that the story in game can easily lure you to think that he is gentle and caring—due to the personal story being told through the perspective of Rosa as the MC in the relationship—it has shown in main story that Artem struggles to reach out to people. He doesn't see himself as a worthy person to be kept around—people's way of putting him in an unreachable pedestal doesn't really help with the situation, too—and this is especially apparent on the early relationship story, thus he oftentimes keeps his distance.
  • Marianne and Artem are each other's mirror. We are similar in a different way, and different in a similar way; hence the ship name is Twin Scale. Two hands of the same body of scale.
  • Artem's issue has never been directly portrayed in your face. He has always supposed to be portrayed as a level-headed reliable person. However, if you try to peek inside the veil, you'll notice just how much flaw he has.
  • Artem is not just gentle and caring. He is complex. Yes, he is gentle and caring, but he is so much more than just that. Empathetic, possessive, greedy, has a tendency to fear being abandoned, pushes people away despite craving company, too mature for his age, likes to disregard his safety for his ideal justice, self-sacrificial at his core, compensate expressing his feeling with being logical, extremely rational and level-headed, secretive, has issue with trusting people ... and the list goes on. See? He is a very layered characters. Highlighting only his good traits is a disrespect to his whole character. He is human, and just like most of us, he has negative traits and flaws. Embody it; I wish you can see him beyond just what is good. After all, every part of him, is thoroughly his.
  • LANDMINE: Artem's inherent character, his maturity and rationality, is deeply rooted in the absence of his parents as a kid. Denying the fact that he doesn't experience child neglect, albeit not severe, is to deny his whole foundation as a person. I don't tolerate people who think the otherwise. His relationship with his parents is complex, it can't simply be boxed into love and hate, but rather the line where both of them blurs together. The presence of his parents in his adulthood, doesn't negate the absence of them in his childhood; namely the emotional absence. Please, get out if you think the otherwise.
    • But Marianne, he has never complained about the absence of his parents, it means he doesn't experience it! First thing first, I'm glad you were born into a healthy family to the point you can't understand the complexity of Artem and his parents' relationship. Secondly, I need you to listen to me really carefully.
    • Both Bryan Wing and Kimberly Garner are very supportive towards their son, this is an irrefutable piece of argument. However, it does raise a problem. The very fact that his parents are loving and supportive towards him leads Artem to believe that he can't be a burden for asking more, because hey! He has all the love and support in the first place, everything will be okay even if his time to be with his parents isn't unlimited; completely disregarding the fact that just love and support is not enough to sustain his growth, he also needs them to be by his side for his emotional fulfillment.
    • In his third birthday card, it was explicitly written that he decided to pass his birthday by ignoring the fact that no one was there to celebrate with him. He decided to pass time by reading law books before Neil Hume came by. I do not know what kind of children you grew up with, but this level of emotional maturity for a child is almost unhealthy. The point is he has been actively repressing and trying to reason with his disappointment—which is also an apparent theme in his fourth birthday card—towards the absence of his parents. He yearns for them to be there more, but did not actively enunciate them. (You can fact check me on this one, I have all of his birthday cards memorized in my head. I am confident.)
    • Artem is not 'just' a good kid for being so mature at his age. He molded himself to be good. He chewed everything thrown at him because the situation forced him to do so, this leads to him constantly repressing his own feeling by rationalizing them as he grows; distancing himself to the point people think he is a robot.
  • Twin Scale is very heavily nuanced around this matter: trust, vulnerabilty, repressed emotions. It's talking about leaping through emotional walls and gaining liberation. I really hope you are wise enough to tread around and not see us with simply rose colored lenses.

Please remember that everything I have said above are my own characterizations and analysis I got from reading the story. You are always allowed to disagree, but if you wish to live in my space, then we are playing by my rules. You don't like playing by my rules? Well ... I regret to inform you that you can just scroll away. Block and move on, that is my most sincere advise.
