What does "selfhood" mean in 'kin spaces?

The term varies from person to person, but it is typically a term used when referring to someone's kintypes that they prioritize over all others. These kintypes are often permashifts (permanent kinshifts), but not always. When people refer to their kintype(s) as "literally me", "me in the flesh", or "me in real life", it would be described as a selfhood.

This is not to say that any kintypes that are not categorized as a selfhood are any less important to someone's identity and self, just that they are not prioritized on the same level.
