Multiplayer stuff:
VRacer Hoverbike - Wipeout meets F-Zero meets Road Rash, good graphics, 7 unique tracks with mirror variants, unlockable bikes and cosmetics, tons of multiplayer modes. Singleplayer is barebones career mode but it has global rankings at least.
Pixel Dungeon - voxel coop dungeon crawl with epic boss fights and roguelite elements. Very solid in coop but deceptively difficult, also very obviously balanced around multiplayer so solo might be suffering on higher difficulties
Dungeons of Eternity - another coop dungeon crawl with less epic boss fights but very solid physics and melee. Still roguelite, still mostly focused on coop. In coop combat is hectic but when solo you will have to git gud with parrying and dodges.
Tactical Assault VR - or TAVR for short, tacticool squad based shooter in the vein of old Delta Force games, simple graphics, complex mechanics. Has SWAT DLC that is basically standalone game. Excellent fun in coop but also has singleplayer and PvP modes.
Iron Rebellion - we have Hawken at home, multiplayer only mecha arena shooter with cool cockpit interactions, tons of loadout possibilities and good map selection. Faster and hectic compared to Vox but mechs feel much stompier and Battletech like.
VAIL - had very rough start but now got polished and expanded past its esports origins with fun gamemodes and possibly the most fun gungame mode out there. Guns have to be unlocked by grinding publics. Has social hub mode and extraction mode is coming later.
Singleplayer stuff:
Metro Awakening - Metro in VR, great VR mechanics, great graphics, usual Metro atmosphere and good length. Easy recommendation if you're fan of the series or shooters in general just don't expect the story to be on same level as mainline games.
Alien Rogue Incursion - atmospheric xenomorph blasting action with the usual motion sensor bleeping scares and completely forgettable story. Impressive graphics but performance isn't the best, this is game mostly for Aliens fans but there's still good FPS in there for everyone.
Chronos trilogy - Tokyo Chronos, Dyscrhonia, Altdeus, series of VR VNs. Good writing, good characters, it's basically just interactive movie but if you want Steins;Gate in VR then this is the closest you'll get. Very little actual interactions, it's still VN
Plastic Battlegrounds - fun plastic soldiers sandbox. Army Men VR, you get variety of environments you can drop your plastic armies in and then take control of the soldiers directly. Pure sandbox so beware, there really isn't any real campaign. Multiplayer Soon (TM)
GORN 2 - GORN but bigger, better, crazier. More of the same but if you liked the first game you'll love the second.
Alliance Peacefighter - Star Fox meets Wing Commander, full length space dogfighting campaign with great graphics, good controls and plenty of action. Can get pretty brutal in later levels so not the best introduction to the genre but if you're space simcade vet you'll love it.
Arken Age - epic biopunk adventure that feels like Metroid Prime homage, good shooting, great melee, beautiful graphics and artstyle, full length sinleplayer campaign. Easily one of the best VR games if you just want the sheer WOW factor and explore alien worlds.
Vampire: The Masquerade Justice - VtM stealth game with fun vampire skills to sneak and kill enemies but suffers from being pretty short. Very linear and non-stealth combat is mostly ass but that's expected from stealth game. If you like VtM it's definitely worth picking up
Quest stuff:
The Pirate: Republic of Nassau - shameless copy of Sid Meyer's Pirates in VR and it's fucking good. If you liked Pirates at all this is it, the original converted to VR. Has proper VR interactions and very little jank but technically still early access.
Real VR Fishing - comfy fishing sim with 4 player multiplayer and lots of unlockable stuff. Mechanically simple but immersive, uses panospheres of real locations. Quest exclusive for all matters practical, every other platform is abandoned
Metacity Patrol - the best Bladerunner game in VR, you get to do all the usual Bladerunner things in big cyberpunk city. It nails the atmosphere of Bladerunner perfectly, singleplayer sandbox with optional storyline.
Journey of the Gods - Zelda VR, simple as that. It's older game so mechanics are simple but it's polished with fun fights and exploration. Shorter than typical Zelda but still offers several hours of fun.
Batman: Arkham Shadow - classic bamham experience faithfully adapted to VR. Great QTE-esque combat that really feels like the classic bamham beatdown, fun predator sections and lots of small homages to rest of the series. Near AAA level production.
Dawn of Jets - solo dev simcade that focues on early jet era (think Korea war) with plenty of iconic planes, polished VR controls and good mission variety. Development is obviously slow but there's already full fledged game in there.
AssCreed Nexus - surprisingly good VR take on AssCreed, great parkour and fun stealthy takedowns. Non-stealth combat sucks but other than that it's very polished game with decent length but it's still AssCreed so linear adventure with no replay value.
Phantom: Covert Ops - Splinter Cell VR with a spin - you're in kayak tactically kayaking through flooded enemy base for the whole duration of game. High production values, kayaking and stealth mechanics work really well. Bit on the short side.
