OVERVIEW

A universe mixing mythology with modernism; cupids run rampant in the human world, trying to graduate from Cupid's University. They look just like us; some are farmers on holidays when the university sets them free for a day; others prefer to stay and practice using the new BnA3000 precision device; some even stay to learn how to maximize the power of their love shots to target and have an easier time with the love-at-first-sight cupid business.If it weren't for the original Cupid separating the types of love over a conflict, Uni wouldn't exist; some would have preferred that.

Characters of this AU will always be connected to Velithane, or it can be a God, too. This is particularly, my take on Mythology (Mostly Greek), do NOT take it srs. It's all mixed, changed or retwisted to fill the needs. 30% Accuracy lol.

  • arrows/bullets to boost their type of love (platonic, romantic, playful, or obsessive, per house training).
  • Limitations: requires focus and intent and misfires (like Sion’s) are rare but potent.
  • Requirements: A love weapon, charged with divine energy.
  • Two cupids of different type can inflict love damage to one person, creating dumb combos like Mania and Agape; They can appeal to Pragmas later

  • Making someone have... well, aura and rizz

  • For detecting emotional bonds

Cupid Physiology:

• Love influence on mortals must be subtle(no penalty)
  • No strong penalty
• Cupids cannot manipulate each other
  • Might turn them into archangel
  • Or demi-god (if a god has the nice for u) and expulsed
  • In worse cases, they turn them human; a fallen.
• No self-targeting
  • expulsion risk
• No mortal interference post-retirement
• Annual quotas of successful matches, enforced by audits.
• If the human falls in love with the cupid's human identity after the love shot or get matched to a cupid it must be reviewd

Stigmas:

• Cupid firearms are frowned upon by traditionalists and older cupids
• Cupids are revered but isolated. Mortals see them as myths.
• There's prejuices after your house: Eros and Mania cupids are seen as "evil"-ish, while Agape is seen as “noble”, and Ludus cupids “reckless”
