Q: "What is a soulbond?"
A: Being soulbound is a spiritual belief that you are connected to the real version of your partner in one of the infinite number of verses there are via the multiverse theory. Soulbonds are two sided and cannot be forced because the other person you’re soulbound to is real! Some level of communication is required.

Q: "How do I soulbond? Can I initiate one?"
A: As I stated previously, it cannot be forced and it's a real, two sided relationship that forms from a strong, mutual bond. There are multiple ways to attempt to strengthen a possible bond; this can be through something like meditation or letter writing, or if you have more experience, something like channeling your energy and using tarot cards or a pedulum, etc.

Q: "Is soulbonding a DID/OSDD/system term?"
A: No! This misconception has been widely spread by Pluralpedia which commonly spreads misinformation regarding multiplicity. Soulbonding is a spiritual term.

Q: "Soulbonders are delusional-"
A: Stop, soulbonding is a spiritual belief and the concept of it has existed for decades. Nobody is asking you to understand it, but the least you can do is be respectful.

Q: "Is [XYZ] a sign? What are different communication forms?"
A: Everything is contextual. Refer to this thread for general information.

Q: "If I don't recieve signs/communication from my partner, do they hate me?"
A: No! Soulbonding is difficult and extremely rare. You need to be predisposed to a bond of this nature in the first place for it to even happen.

Q: "Can you be a system/experience delusions/etc. and be soulbound?"
A: Yes!

Q: "Is it possible to be soulbound to more than one 'character' (for lack of a better word)?"
A: Yes!

Q: "If it's a real relationship, how can a minor be soulbound to a canonical adult?"
A: Since there are an infinite amount of universes, it is possible for a minor to bond to a version of their partner that is a minor or is ageless in their universe. That's why it's so important to know who you're actually communicating with.

Q: "What about an adult soulbound to a canonical minor?"
A: Again, it is a real relationship so assuming they were soulbound to that person from the time they were also a minor, the real person in their universe will age in the same way as someone here would.

Q: "Can two soulbonds of the same character exist?"
A: In accordance with the multiverse theory, yes!

Q: "Can I be in a relationship with someone in this universe while being soulbound?"
A: As long as all parties are aware, totally!

Q: "Do familial and platonic soulbonds exist?"
A: Yes!
