WHY AN INTROJECTS SOURCE SHOULD NOT BE DEMONIZED OR LOOKED DOWN UPON.
written by a fictive with a "problematic" source.

You're probably here from the rentry written by my headmates! If not, you should probably read that first. Lets start!

"WHATS A PROBLEMATIC SOURCE?"
A problematic source is when a introject has a source that is looked down upon, or their source has done things that would be illegal here. An example could be a factive of the content creator Dream, who has been proven to be racist, ableist, and a whole load more, or it could also be a fictive of say Junko Enoshima, who threw the whole world into despair and laughed. If you read the othe rentry, you should know fictives CAN NOT control their sources. That's the main reason source shaming is bad, but there's a couple more things to it.

"BUT (NAME) DID (SOURCE ACTION)!!"
The majority of introjects do not identify with their actions in source or do not condone them. For example, my main source is Cutthroat from Akudama Drive. In source, I am guilty of over one thousand murders and have manipulated people to get what I want. Do I support any of that? No! I can't control my source, and everything I did in source has zero influence on who I am as an alter. An introject who does support what they did in source and would do it again in the body is what you should be against. Not an introject who identifies with their source and not their actions and crimes.

"WHAT IF I'M AN INTROJECT AND I'M UNCOMFORTABLE WITH SOURCEMATES WHO HAVE GIVEN ME SOURCE TRAUMA?"
Now this, is totally okay! While you should of course recognize that an introject is not their source, you have every right to be uncomfortable as source trauma can feel very real. Politely asking a "problematic" sourcemate to not interact is fine, so is just not interacting. Refrain from being rude, and you're totally fine!
