[08:23] Maria tilts her head, a delicate breath escapes her. As if trying to maintain her emotions and thoughts. She'd begin to pace, breathing deeply.

"..."

Her hand brushes upon the hammer of her pistol, pondering her siblings words. She found herself unable to explain her thoughts. Her frustrations forever clasped within her memory, unable to be deciphered.

How she wished she could...

"..."

Her siblings would find anger in her features. Her breathes were seething and distressed. Every moment she found difficult to keep her emotions in tact. She was angry at Lazarus. Angry at Marfons. For doing this to their dear sibling.

And yet...

What did Lavenza expect?

Learning necromancy was taboo. And they did not do the best to hide it.

"!!!"

The girl huffs, deciding it best to express her emotions elsewhere.

Hopefully, she wouldn't do anything stupid.

[08:25] Levius W. Malibu says, "Boo."
[08:25] Maria Malibu was in the process of stomping away.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:25] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Where're you going?"
[08:25] Justia says, "Please don't shoot the guard..."
[08:25] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[08:25] Levius W. Malibu squats in front of his sister, with a warm smile, and... tired eyes.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[08:25] Levius W. Malibu says, "Hi-hi, sweetie."
[08:26] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[08:26] Maria Malibu breaks eye contact, trying to brush beside Levius.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:26] Levius W. Malibu asks, "What's got you bothered?"
[08:26] Levius W. Malibu says, "Avoiding's no good."
[08:26] Maria Malibu points to Lavenza.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:28] The bluette would create another [Gravity] rune, quickly throwing the door open to fly out of the cell, grabbing their twin tightly, wrapping her into a hug.

Whispering, though loud enough for Tia and the nonmagi guards to hear, "Hey hey hey, Ria-Beea… It's all okay, now. It's all gonna be okay now. I was deemed innocent, we're okay... It's all okay."

Their feet wouldn't touch the ground, too elated still after the verdict that they couldn't ground themselves so, so their arms would shift subtly in the hug. A minour thing, and yet a small sign that, with that flight tied to their emotions... things might be okay indeed.
(Lavenza Malibu)

[08:28] Levius W. Malibu asks, "What about them?"
[08:28] Justia says, "... Lav you could've just asked me to unlock the door."
[08:29] Lavenza Malibu says, "Tia she was storming off."
[08:29] Lavenza Malibu says, "...Needed to be fast, I'm sorry."
[08:29] Justia says, "Sorry... I was a bit lost in thought."
[08:33] "..."

"..."

The girl's breathes were seething and rapid. Her face contorting into expressions of anger and distress. Her hand was clasped on her pistol, as if she was going to do something drastic.

She hated more than anything, that she couldn't express her thoughts.

Perhaps it was the arrival of her big brother that would calm her nerves. She takes her hand off her pistol, breathing a deep breath. If it wasn't for him, perhaps she would have made things worse.

It didn't seem she was quite ready to enact her own justice yet.

The young woman breathes a deep sigh, nodding at her brother's words. She crosses her arms now, palm strayed away from her revolver.

She ponders, canary hues darting toward her twin as they appear. She simply nods, yet her anger was fully situated with them, it would seem. She is embraced, yet did Maria fail to return it, instead clasped into her own thoughts.

Would it be okay?

With how things were, it was only a matter of time the worst happens with Lavenza.

Lest she solves it herself.

"..." She nods, smiling softly at her twin as she embraced them. Yet still was that glint in her hue, a desire for justice.

"..."

'Lazarus.' she mouths, glaring at her brother. Hoping that they'd understand.

'Marfons' she mouths again, She'd thump her chest, glaring at her brother with confidence and anger.

Perhaps she wanted to do something drastic?

It seemed that it was too easy to go about without justice for your deeds.

[08:33] * You have been awarded 2 Levels! * [08:41] Curious, calm brown orbs follow the shorter figure in front of Levius... and he offers a beaming, radiant warm smile as he caresses her cheek, as if to say all would be well.

His ears perk up, and his face is soured ever so slightly at the mouthing of the names... he is all too familiar with what little communication Maria can put out. The tall guardsdog fails to hold back a sigh of frustration, as he shuffles in his coatpockets, seemingly looking for something.

As his hands wander around his pockets in search, he murmurs out towards his sibling:

"Now, now... I understand, dear. Just... calm down. Venza's all fine and innocent, see?

I'd switch the earth and the heavens if something did, make no mistake... but all the same, this is a good opportunity for us to work within the system, mm? You'll see what I mean."

A pause, as Lev's eyes beam up... his hands stop, briefly, at the feel of something square... a pocketbook, from an inner coat pocket, pulled out soon afterwards. On its cover is written: ''Meranthian Sign-Language." in bold... the pocketbook is handed to Maria, as a gift, it seems...

"Patience is a virtue, sweetie." is all he deems to say, at least in public, to his excitable sister.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[08:47] It was easy for a growing teenager to get lost in their emotions. To want nothing more than too shoot the men who had hurt her sibling. She did not care if Lavenza was a Necromancer. They were her sibling, her twin. And the heavens would fall for anyone who would hurt them.

She was tired of being so useless.

So frail and small. So weak.

That pistol at her hip was all she had, yet was it her identity. Her purpose.

Even if she didn't quite know it yet.

The mute girl dictates a calm gaze toward her brother. His presence and guidance calmed her, canary hues turning from bloodlust into a soft gaze as they follow those brown orbs. She nods, of course. That beaming, radiant smile enough to quell her emotions.

Work within the system, he said?

Maria tilts her head, as if widening her eyes at the comment. The guard dog hated his boss too? Who would have thought?

"..."

A sudden realization comes forth. She ponders for a short while, breaking eye contact before simply nodding and agreeing with Levius. Something catches her eye as Levius digs into his notebook, handing the girl a gift of sorts

"!!!"

She takes it of course, smiling softly at the gesture. She nods, clasping the book to her chest and simply agreeing with his words.

He was right, patience was a virtue.

Especially for a markswoman.

(Maria Malibu)

[08:49] Justia tilts her head and gives the four of them a confused look.
(Justia)

[08:50] Lavenza Malibu drifts over to speak telepathically to her. Time to practice.
(Lavenza Malibu)

[08:51] Justia nods.
(Justia)

[08:55] Levius does not break his smile, and he only takes to examining the holstered pistol at her hip... a familiar sight.

Soon he sets to adjusting her cloak, and posture... tapping at the hand-cannon, a puzzled look on his face... Yet no attempt is made to inspect it for maintenance.

The guardsdog trusts in her faith in herself, and her iron... so he only pats at her shoulder, as she stands at a bit of an exaggerated, stylish swagger... fit for an outlaw, or a lawman with something to prove, admittedly.

A quiet has descended on Levius as he ruffles her hair still, the magic of the severity on Maria broken for a mere moment... which is soon regained as he stands. His imposing figure and epaulette-adorned wide shoulders only grow wider as he takes a deep breath, and inspects his sister-in-arms and companion.

A nod is given very soon, one of pride and approval... and he looks at LaVenza, to gauge their reaction to the interaction between the comrades, and siblings....

But realization soon dawns upon him. They're in Gloomlight... probably the telepathy capital of the word... so they're probably busy practicing their telepathy.

Expectant eyes leave LaVenza, and make their way towards no one in particular... glancing around, and meeting Penny's hues... he is curious to her reaction, it seems.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[08:56] Maria Malibu nods with determination. The stylish swagger and bravado of her brother indeed a sight to see, and a relief.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:57] Maria Malibu gives a thumbs up!
(Maria Malibu)

[08:57] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Good?"
[08:57] Maria Malibu says, "Mm."
[08:57] Maria Malibu nods.

[08:57] Levius W. Malibu says, "Good."
[08:57] Maria Malibu shoves her sister in Levius's face.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:57] Levius W. Malibu says, "Oh."
[08:57] Levius W. Malibu says, "Hi-hi, Penny dear."
[08:57] Justia says, "I have one thing to say."
[08:57] Maria Malibu tilts her head toward the doorway, perhaps she needed to go! She waves at Levius and her siblings before departing.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:57] Maria Malibu ...but not without hearing Justia.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:57] Levius W. Malibu says, "Bye-bye, Maria."
[08:57] Levius W. Malibu says, "Text if something comes up."
[08:57] Justia says, "You cherish your sister or I will personally come find you."
[08:57] Lavenza Malibu whispers to Maria Malibu: weak telepathy Bye, twinny... Don't shoot Marfons.
[08:57] Maria Malibu nods.
(Maria Malibu)

[08:57] Lavenza Malibu whispers to Maria Malibu: weak telepathy Love you, kay? I'll be out soon.
[08:58] Lavenza Malibu says, "...Trust me. I cherish her every day."
[08:58] Justia says, "Good."
[08:59] Marfons Emeraldi says, "Rainy's work."
[08:59] Lazarus says, "Hm. This will do then."
[08:59] Lazarus says, "Thank you."
[08:59] Marfons Emeraldi says, "I had a business contract with them once upon a time..."
[08:59] Marfons Emeraldi says, "Glad I got my money then got out."
[09:00] Aaliyah Tal asks, "Who does Rainy Skies swear to?"
[09:00] Maria Malibu blinks. Where did her sister go...?
(Maria Malibu)

[09:00] Marfons Emeraldi says, "Isn't he a Midpointer? Was always there anyways."
[09:00] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[09:00] Maria Malibu glares at both Marfons and Lazarus. Mostly Lazarus specifically.
(Maria Malibu)

[09:00] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[09:01] Aaliyah Tal says, "Mmh."
[09:01] Aaliyah Tal says, "...That does track."
[09:02] Lazarus slowly raised an eyebrow behind the half-mask, before a shrug followed as he returned his attention to the transceiver clipped to his coat.
(Lazarus)

[09:06] Lazarus says, "Such is the plan."
[09:09] The glare given to both men was but a brief glance. Canary hues that hid some sort of lingering frustration. Yet it was as fleeting as it came. While the girl would hide in the shadows, something in her heart would finally give her the bravado and bravery needed to ask what was in her heart.

Perhaps her brother had rubbed off on her more than she thought.

The young teenager approaches. A scarred visage, alongside a towering figure that had completely annihilated the shadow of the girl. And yet, despite a terrifying demeanor, she hides her fear. Maintaining a bravado quite similar to her brother.

She approaches, handing a piece of paper too the man in question.

A simple query.

'Forgive me for speaking to you in this way. I am mute. Can you tell me about the Goldlight Order and what you stand for?' she asks simply. Canary hues flicker, gazing at the towering man that was above her. Indeed, a frightening visage.

Yet not as frightening as was the choice to be afraid.

Despite her disability, she knew that it did not define her.
(Maria Malibu)

[09:19] The hunched giant had primarily turned his attention to one of the several transceivers clipped to his coat´s collar, as dark leather-clad digits alternated between brief pauses, and rapid clicking upon the device´s keys.
The best way to coordinate a new news sheet from a distance.

Until he simply paused in full, as the Aenite´s ocean blue eyes focused away from the communication device´s view screen, and to that outstretched piece of paper, that was soon taken by a gloved hand as the Homunculus´ gaze skimmed through it.

All for an answer to follow after, making its way past the respirator.

"Hardly a need to apologize for the method.
It is after all, beyond one´s control."
Here, the Homunculus paused for a few seconds, as his mind took the time to consider what words to use, before that covered eyebrow arose behind the half-mask once more.

"The Flyer upon the board is the best source of details, I would say.
Especially when I am, sadly, saving most of my dramatic words for a wedding that I have been asked to oversee.
Apologies.

Yet, at the core?
We protect those in need of aid.
And we act where we must, to stand and serve."
(Lazarus)

[09:29] Stede Emeraldi whispers something.
[09:30] A teenager with a pistol at her hip, eyes curious and observant, asking this giant about his purpose and the purpose of his order. She stands firmly upon the canary grass, waiting for the masked visage to speak. A heavy breath exhumes, as if he was pained by each and every word.

Her hues exhibit a fervent curiosity now. Perhaps it was typical for many Malibus to have this curiosity. So much so, that it gets them into more trouble than naught.

She tilts her head at the giant as his palms took the paper away. If he spoke with Transceivers, perhaps they can communicate through that at another time. Transceivers would seem to be one of the only options for the mute to speak, and one of the best ones. But for now, she simply speaks through written words.

Sometimes the simplest gesture was the best.

"...Mm." she nods at his words. It was beyond her control that she was born without a method to speak. Perhaps someday, she'd find a method that was better than this. A voice implant or some method of using Transcievers to speak. For now, however?

She uses her ears to listen. Her expressions to speak. As it was actions that spoke louder than words.

Canary hues dart away toward the flyer several feet away. Yet she knew she can gather details such as easily. She wanted to hear from the commander himself what it meant to be part of the order. What it meant to be a lawmen. What it meant to simply...

Keep the peace.

Like her brother, did she desire that same purpose. Whether it be for selfish reasons or simply seeking a sense of identity and purpose, that revolver at her hip was not just for show.

Strikingly similar, would the man find this one to be to a certain Ookami.

"..."

To protect those in need of aid?

A simple purpose. And on that marked a light air of curiosity toward the girl.

Yet, she wouldn't bother him any longer. The girl smiles and nods, allowing for Lazarus to see his way toward the wedding.

She wouldn't bother him any longer. At least not now.
(Maria Malibu)

[09:33] And with little follow up for his mind to process, the Aenite calmly folded that sheet of paper before stowing it away in one of his coat´s pockets, before returning his attention to the transceiver.

After all, in his view, it was likely a conclusion of the discussion.

"Should there be further questions, do feel free to send a letter, or to ask directly.

As one asks.
So too shall one hear."
(Lazarus)

[09:34] Maria Malibu nods, smiling gently before taking her leave.
(Maria Malibu)

[09:37] Hoshi says, "Ok, good job! But you let me get hurt, so I'm not paying you."
[09:37] Hoshi exclaims, "Bye!"
