When he signs the contract everything seems fair. He'll be out faster than he'll ever pay off his loans. They don't really explain much but he'll get through it if he gets a chance at digging his way out of this hole he's in. Signing away his rights for a while is nothing for him compared to struggling to pay that back.

Opening his eyes, still feeling dreary he takes in his surroundings. A cellmate, fine and he looks kind enough. short, young looking, hole in the center of the room and not a lot else really. Well, he did choose this.

"Hello?" He wipes his eyes again as he looks across the room at his cellmate. "Sorry just trying to get a feel for things around here, first day and all."

"You'll see soon." Vantacrow doesn't even know the guys name but he returns to relaxing on his bed without caring to give it.

"So... what are you in for?" He sighs, trying to make conversation, maybe they're both in for similar things. "Also you never said your name."

"Yu Q Wilson and you've never watched a prison film before have you?" Thankfully Wilson then sits up. "You don't ask that kind of thing but, call me Wilson or Willy."

The next few hours pass in relative silence and then if on que, Wilson looks up.

"It's time."

There are more questions than answers at this point but as he drags himself of his bed to look up himself a platform slowly moves down, half eaten food on it and to his surprise Wilson is estactic. Almost running over to it and starting to pick meat off of bones and taking whatever he can fit in his mouth from the half eaten feast.

"Not gunna lie bro that's literally disgusting."

"Take what ever you get, at least you were lucky enough to start on a higher level." Wilson speaks mid chew while grabbing more food.

Pinching himself Vantarow tries to convine himself he's dreaming but no, think blonde guy who could definitely pass as a kid is eating people's leftovers.

"I'm not kidding, it only gets worse from here." Vantacrow isn't sure what could be worse than eating people's leftovers but he has a weird feeling he's not going to like it.

"You'll see when you get down to the lower levels, sometimes you just have to eat people you know?" The way he doesn't even look up as he speaks tells Vantacrow he's not joking.

"No I don't, what?" If there's one thing he's definitely not doing, it's eating people. His tummy does not have the rumblies that only hands can satisfy.

"You'll find out." Wilson continues to be nonchalant about this whole thing.

"How can you even say shit like that so calmly?" He pinches himself again.

"I'm in here to get off a life sentence for being a hitman."

Vantacrow blinks at him slowly as if the guys about to say sike but it never comes. He was just trying to make conversation as it dawns on him that he might actually be in a room with a dangerous criminal. When he signed up for this thing he assumed he'd be locked up with people like himself. Not this. Not this at all.

"Oh..." This was a bad idea, this guy isn't joking. "I'm just here to get my debt cleared..."

Wilson almost chokes on his mouthful as he looks up in surprise.

"You're not telling me you ended up here willingly?" laugher sings through his voice in disbelief. "You're insane, like actually fucking cooked bro."

Reality starts to hit as the platform starts to move downwards and he briefly contemplates jumping down once it's gone. Shaking his head to himself he wishes that he wasn't stupid enough to end up here but this is life. Counting on his fingers he tries to remember how long a human can survive without food. At some point he's going to break, but not yet. He'll hold out as long as he can.

"You'll regret that." Wilson wipes his mouth. "I wasn't lying."

"If you think I'm not already regretting this entire thing you're stupider than I am homie."
