Thus Spoke Joshustra
Chapter 1: Genesis
In the beginning there was mayo
And She tasted it, and it was good
Then she made the heavens and the earth, also of mayo
They were also delicious
And the seas,
And the mountains and space and planets, and they were all mayo too!
And everyone was very happy!
- Unknown, heard in an Ameville street
Chapter 3: Of Chaos
Not necessarily lore but some random joshu thoughts!
Joshus are chaos, just like holox or 4chan or most fun and worthwhile things!
Chaos is generally good, but is sometimes corrupted!
I find warhammer 40 lore interesting!
For this one occasion I am focusing on the thought of order vs chaos!
In warhammer, order is embodied by the emperor, a control freak that does whatever he feels like and no matter what it is, its justified by being "for the good of mankind".
And the whatever he feels like can be anything including putting you in a blender after you served him when your part is done!
Chaos is embodied? By the warp! A magical happy land where anything is possible!
While there are "gods" of the warp and demons and the like, those are corruptions! At its core, warp entities are reflections of real entities who really care for very little outside the warp, and are mostly guided by self preservation!
Most of the conflicts in the setting are the result of this or that messing with the warp in some way and getting "exactly what they want!"
For instance, the emperor wanted to tame and control and perhaps destroy the warp making the warp a lot more hostile than it used to be! He was looking for an enemy and he found one!
Or space elves having wild bloody orgies and creating a "god" that wants wild bloody orgies (because that is what he is) or else! They were looking for eternal debauchery and they got it!
And so on and so forth!
The thought is to be careful what you ask for!
There really is no reason the warp cant give you a cute koyote or anything else waifu or bliss!
TLDR be careful what you ask for!
- Unknown, recited in the Holoimperial Capital
Chapter 7: Of Land
Joshu and koyotes in general are dedicated to science! Generally the research of other koyotes!
This takes a lot of time! Koyotes lock for hours at a time!
Koyotes also enjoy traveling, cosplaying and making friends and having fun!
Theres also a shadow organization known as holoX rumored to exist! One that would take over the world!
In this case, a declaration of a piece of clay being ours, would also mean that all the other clay is not! That is unacceptable!
It's not that koyotes don't work together, they do and are a very social and cooperative species and will readily mingle and adopt and research the traits of other cultures, because its fun!
It's more that they don't generally enjoy being told what to do and neither do they feel like telling others what to do either! Kyotes naturally cooperate with whatever they excel at towards the collective good! They enjoy making people happy!
This means they have little interest in holding clay!
But what about the taking over the world part?!
Well, holoX is not like other conquer the world organizations! Mostly its about freedom! All of the girls are bad at, and uninterested in ruling anything!
But they also don't like being ruled by a corrupt and stifling world!
In this case, if you saw things as a division between order and chaos, where order is absolute control of all things, and chaos is absolute freedom, holoX is about the later! It's about tearing down corrupt rotten systems and reaching for your dreams! And for a world where that is possible!
For that reason I'm not sure holoX is interested in land or borders either!
The land, is all ours! Everyones!
Maybe!
- Unknown, soliloquy from an anonymous Joshu
Chapter 16: Of Bolt and Fur
Theres two types of joshus and they are nearly undiscernible from each other!
Natural joshus are regular savannah koyotes just like Koyori!
They develop in strange ways depending on their environment just as Koyori did! (she is a koyote human!)
The second type is the kokoro!
Kokoro stands for Koyori's koyote robot!
Those are artificial koyotes that are task built and do more dangerous tasks!
There's both types in this image notice the kokoro with the projector eyes and the joshu giving a report!! Traditionally joshus wear collars and kokoros don't! this is because joshu means helping hand and both natural and mechanical ones do that, so there's no hard and fast distinction!
In the lands of mayo, a common joshu pastime is joshugazing, this is, naming other joshus for their specializations!
But its not a hard and fast rule!
And now you know!
- Unknown, heard coming from a bush in the JIDF savannah
