my identity or whateva
ok i am going to break this up into 3 catagories. what i tell the general public, what i tell my friends, and what is true for me. i am going to try to be coherent, but i might fail which is ok.
I
i find it easiest to just tell people im bisexual. everyone knows what it means and MOST of the time people are pretty okay with it. if i can tell they are queer themselves then i will tell them im pansexual. i usually just let people call me what they think i am even if they do ask. most people assume the feminine role to me because of how i dress and appear which is fair. they usually use she/her and my nickname that comes from my birthname (maggie, which originates from margaret.) if its someone who ive known for a long time then they will usually use he/him or sometimes they/them and call me peter. i still like the name peter, but its not my most perfered title.

II
i feel more comfortable being open with my friends in regards to my identity, which is to be expected. my friends think i identify more with the pansexual label. i also make it clearer to them that i fall on the aromantic spectrum with being quiromantic. they know i am queerplatonic and that my nonromantic relationships with others mean just as much (if not more) than my romantic ones. gender wise, there seems to be a general consensus that i am genderfluid or bigender with a preference for masculine terms. this assumption is not completely incorrect, but it could be more exact. not many use them (which is very much okay, i mainly have them for aesthetic purposes,) but they know i identify with puppygender and 'use' pup/pupself pronouns. nearly all of my friends still use peter for me, which is also understandable, but not necessarily my preference at the moment.

III
i dont like labels on my sexuality. pomosexual is honestly the most accurate it can get. being quiromanic, it gets very confusing discerning my platonic feelings from my romantic ones, so i find it best to put my romantic feelings to the side so i can place my focus on my platonic ones. often times im just really passionate in my platonic love for someone that it confuses itself for romantic affection. a lot of my personal identity is formed around my relationships with others. as well as puppygender, i identify with amorgender, where your gender changes when you admire someone greatly, be it platonic, romantic, or spiritual. the name mars is the one that makes me feel best about myself. im okay with peter, but mars feels like myself right now.
