Stay Dead: Trick or Threat 
You open your mouth to speak but Jason cuts you off.
"Did anyone see that?" he asks.
"What did you see?" you ask him.
He hesitates. "Something ... weird. Hey, Sienna, do you want to wait in the car?"
"Okay. I'm telling you, it's dead in there. But if they have caramel apples, can you bring one for me?"
She gets into the car. Jason takes cautious steps forward. You follow him.
"What is it, Jason?"
"Maybe you should wait in the car. I'll just--"
You grab for Jason and your hand catches his. You hold on to one another.
"Hey, um," he says. "Do you want to go to the prom with me?"
Your heart races.
"That's, like, six months from now."
He shrugs. "Save the date."
"I--"
You start to say yes, then you think of JoJo. What will she think? Her best friend and her older brother?
You look over his shoulder and notice people exiting the school building. The crowd grows and grows but they don't walk to their cars or try to leave.
"What are they doing?"
Jason turns to look. He pauses.
"Let's go. Now."
