[02:24] Maria Malibu walks into a faction that she had no idea was of a danger to her or not.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:24] Maria Malibu thinks, "...Probably not."
[02:24] Maria Malibu thinks, "...They seem friendly, at least...."
[02:24] Maria Malibu waves.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:24] Maria Malibu waves!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:24] Lily watches her very carefully.
(Lily)

[02:24] Maria Malibu asks, "???"
[02:24] Maria Malibu ponders, "How do I tell her I mean no harm?"
[02:25] Kaimar the Timekeeper says, "Another visitor."
[02:25] Maria Malibu walks up to the girl, shaking her head and pointing to her revolver. She shakes her head again, as if to gesture she meant no harm.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:25] Lily vanishes because she does not want to be perceived.
(Lily)

[02:25] Maria Malibu exclaims, "!!!!"
[02:25] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[02:25] Maria Malibu waves at Kalmar instead.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:26] Kaimar the Timekeeper asks, "Evening. What is it?"
[02:27] Maria Malibu tilts her head. She decides to communicate using her old fashioned method. Writing in her notebook and expressing the pages to Kalmar.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:27] "Hello. My name is Maria. What is this place? I apologize in advance. I am mute, and have limited methods of communication." the words read.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:28] Kaimar the Timekeeper reads over the words and cants their head.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[02:29] Kaimar the Timekeeper says, "This is a place of worship where my Brothers and Sisters join."
[02:30] "..."

Maria writes upon her pages once more. She was a swift writer, merely asking questions to pique her interest.

"A place of worship? Who do you worship?" she asks, canting her head and noticing the statue of Mortyl several yards away.

"Ah." she nods. Smiling and seeming to understand.

"I won't bother you any longer. May I ask for directions?" the woman asks. Canting her head once again.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:34] Moves a hand up and starts to do what could be consider a terrible replica of sign language. It is passible though.

"Vdali and Mortyl." They are poorly translated as Giant and Death god.

"You are not a bother. Just don't understand most of you." The Timekeeper continued to move their hands around. He seemed to be thinking about what to sign.

"Where do you need to go?"
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[02:36] PM from (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: WAIT WAIT WAIT! I KNOW YOU!
[02:36] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: Mm? :0
[02:40] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: you do!!?
[02:41] The woman does understand. It was...a replica of sign language. Some gestures causing the Malibu to blink and take a step back, as if his crude gestures had meant something else. To a trained eye, however, she appreciated the attempt. Understanding the gist of what he meant.

Knowing that he can sign, her own words going forward would be gestured through sign language herself.

"I understand." she gestures back. It piques her interest. So this was where the refugees of Vdalion had came too. Maria had only now just started to explore the island that was Meranthe. Many things having changed since she was a small child.

"I am not a religious person. Yet I understand the importance of it. I respect your dedication to both Vdali and Mortyl." she gestures with a smile. Seeming to understand their beliefs and ideals. Maria had grown up with many who follows them, after all.

Perhaps she herself, had a closer to relationship to Mortyl than she thought.

Death followed her. Causing her naught but sorrow and taking away those she loved.

...Sometimes she'd wonder why.

Nevertheless. She would keep a passive demeanor. Mostly curious about her whereabouts.

Finally she answers. Canting her head as she gestured.

"Deathwind Fleet." she gestures, signing what could be considered the words 'death' and 'fleet'. No doubt Kaimar could put two and two together.

"I want to know where they are. For...my own safety. I plan to explore the islands, and I don't want trouble." And yet the intrigue was clear in her words. Perhaps she wanted more knowledge when it came to this deadly band of undead pirates?
(Maria Malibu)

[02:41] PM from (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: yes
[02:41] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: :0
[02:41] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: ...In a good way, right? :)
[02:41] PM from (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: MHM MHM
[02:42] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: yay!
[02:51] A hand went forward to stop her, he shook his hands at her.

"The Deathwind Fleet is... something I heard about but have not encountered. I do not explore the waters much. I think you should avoid it." The Timekeeper signed back while shaking his head.

There came back some more thinking about the words. His thumb pressed into his palm like he was jabbing it. He was clearly thinking with his eyes closing tight. She could only see darkness over his face, he leaned forward watching her.

"Maybe I can explore with you. I am bored here anyway." He sat there for a moment. Waiting to see what she was going to say.

"And your respect is understood. You do not taint this land." He paused.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[02:54] 'I think you should avoid it.'

"..."

There is a brief pause as they speak. She knew this was the smartest course of action. Yet every bone in her body would ask for more information from anyone she could.

They took away the people dearest to her.

They wanted revenge.

Her eyes told the story. And yet her words were silenced. A desire for redemption in her hue. A lurking curiosity, a desire for thrill.

As would any outlaw would have.

"If you would like." she gestures simply. Canting her head in intrigue toward the Timekeeper.

"I am merely exploring the islands for reagents. But if I run into trouble, the support would be nice." she smiles, nodding at the gesture.

"What should I call you?"
(Maria Malibu)

[02:59] "Kaimar the Timekeeper." He replied sternly. A turn in the dirt while starting to follow behind her. The man moved silently to get behind her. "Come on. Let us find something to do."

Their head looked up to the sky while closing his eyes. Following behind the woman, he jumped down the mountain. He waited for Maria to move toward where she wanted to go. "It gives me a chance to go do some stuff."
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[02:59] Maria Malibu says, "Mm."
[03:00] Maria nods. Allowing the man to accompany her for the time being. She simply gestures: "It's nice to meet you." before going on her way.

"It is late in the morn, there won't be much to do."

"...But knowing my luck, i'm sure we'll find something."

[03:22] Kaimar the Timekeeper puts a hand on the stomach of Maria and starts to push her back.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[03:23] Tries to escape! Her curiousity getting the better of he

"What is this place!?" she gestures.
(Maria Malibu)

[03:23] Kaimar the Timekeeper says, "....."
[03:23] Kaimar the Timekeeper allowed her to go, he was going to walk away from her. He was not going to die for her fun.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[03:24] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[03:28] Maria gestures toward the man. Something was...off, about this island. A certain pull that she seemed to desire. A thrill. And of course...

A desire.

She appreciated Kaimar accompanying her. That much was shown from her expressions. Maria had not known much about the surrounding islands of Meranthe. What was considered a danger and what was not. Having him accompany her was much needed, and of course, much appreciate.

But she knew this wasn't his fight.

Even if there was no one here, Maria still desired something in her heart.

This wasn't his fight, and she wouldn't force him into it.

Outlaws took risks. Some may consider them reckless. Some may consider them stupid.

But Maria had her own justice. She had her reasons.

She'd hardly invite another into it.

She smiles, nodding and appreciating Kaimar for his time.

"...This island seems dangerous. I won't keep you any longer." she gestures. Nodding at her newfound friend.

"Thank you, for accompanying me. For protecting me."

"I understand you value life just as much as death. But...I have my own purpose here. I won't drag you into it."

"I hope to see you again though! You taught me alot. So...thank you." her gestured words finally halt. As she nods and smiles toward the man in particular.

"I am unsure why you accompanied me. But...it felt nice. It...feels good. Not being lonely."

"But this is not your fight." with that, she'd let him leave. Perhaps Maria was reckless. Perhaps she was stupid.

...But she had a purpose.

A curiosity.

One that hopefully would not kill her.
(Maria Malibu)

[03:34] "You are rushing into death, that is not smart. I cannot say I appreciate you doing this for a third time with me in tow." Kaimar tried to understand people. He tried to understand the outside and just in the small moment, they burnt that trust.

"Your purpose is to just run out of time, I do not have that luxury. I do not have time to die, so if you desire that. Give me your boat so I can leave or come find a path to revenge with actual strength." He gave them an offer, they were really his only salvation.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[03:41] "..."

"Y-you were the one who desired to accompany me. I have no idea about any of these islands. About what is dangerous and what is not." Maria suggests. Her gaze flickers, tilting about and breaking contact from the other.

"You should have warned me better. From your tone, I can tell that this is the island of the people I am looking for."

"...I don't appreciate your tone. Especially when you could have warned me sooner." she huffs. Her lack of knowledge of the surrounding islands was true. She had relied on Kaimar to guide her, and whenever she did, she strayed away. Yet never did she want to put him into danger. It was him after all, who offered to accompany her first.

And for a reason she did not know why.

"Maybe." she simply gestures. Whether she was rushing into death or not, she did not. Whether she merely desired vengeance or her death was yet to be proven. All that was shown now, however?

Was that she got what she needed.

She knew were they were.

"How was I supposed to know that these islands were dangerous?" she gestures and asks. Maria did not know, escaping whenever Kaitar had asked to her to leave.

'You're purpose is just to just run out of time.'

"!!!"

Maybe.

Maybe it was.

She did not care.

"..."

"Fine." she finally speaks. Tossing the man the boat that she carried on her person.

Maria truly meant no ill will.

"I meant no ill will toward you. I am sorry for putting you in danger." she halts her gestures afterward. Sighing. That one, single word putting strain onto her throat as she grasped it.
(Maria Malibu)

[03:41] {Item} You drop Rowboat.
[03:41] {Item} You picked up Rowboat..
[03:41] {Item} You drop Rowboat.
[03:41] {Item} You picked up Rowboat. Dropped by Maria Malibu..
[03:41] {Item} You throw Rowboat.
[03:42] PM from (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: wait are u staying or going with?
[03:43] Kaimar the Timekeeper says, "I will not leave you here. Bring your ass."
[03:43] Kaimar the Timekeeper says, "If you want to die, do it on your time."
[03:43] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[03:43] Maria Malibu says, "...."
[03:44] Maria Malibu huffs...
(Maria Malibu)

[03:44] Maria Malibu exclaims, "AGH!"
[03:45] Kaimar the Timekeeper asks, "Where is your home?"
[03:45] Kaimar the Timekeeper says, "You are going on timeout."
[03:46] Maria Malibu says, "...."
[03:50] Maria huffs! And yet Kaimar was right to remember this was their home.

"Mgh..."

She'd seem...discontent. Who were they to tell them what to do? To care for their safety!?

...

Maybe the Timekeeper valued both their lives. Knowing Mortyl, did they know the importance of death just as much as life.

It was not the young woman's time just yet.

Maria did not know it, but her suicidal tendencies were not the best course of action.

"...Fine." she says again. While she was mute, she was learning to speak simple words. Even if it hurt her throat, sometimes it was the best way to explain her emotions and thoughts.

"I don't..."

"I don't want to die, by the way." she gestures, sighing as she gestured.

"I just want them to suffer." she points south, toward the ones that had taken everything from her.

A sigh escapes her lips, a realization.

"I am sorry for...risking your life."

"...I knew what I was doing. It was unfair for me to do that to you."
(Maria Malibu)

[03:56] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: who are u btw???
[03:57] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: if u dont mind me asking!(alsos sorry if my rp dropped off, im super sleepy rn)
[03:57] A hand went up and jabbed the woman in her chest. It was painful and there was anger warping his normal demeanor.

"Do not ever drag me or my brothers or sisters into your suicide again. I won't harm you on your land, but this is your only warning." There was a push into her chest. The admittance pissed off the younger boy, pulling back a hand like he was going to punch her.

"You do want to die if you commit to actions like that." His hand moved down to the side. "Again, you won't get that by risking anyone's life." A hand moved to their chin. They started to rub their chin while scanning them.

"Explain why you want to hurt them?"
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[03:58] PM from (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: I played Helios
[03:58] PM to (OOC)Kaimar the Timekeeper: oh!!!! i seee!!!!!
[04:03] "GAGH!"

A hand jabs the poor woman in the chest, enough to cause spit to escape her lips. She huffs. Now growling at the man she called an ally.

Outlaws were selfish.

Yet it did not mean they couldn't have some level of integrity.

Humility.

While every bone in her body would want to shoot this man straight in the face. She knew this was not what Levius would have done. Neither Lavenza.

"..."

She nods. She huffs, sighing and standing up straight. Taking the injury as she spoke. "Fine." she says once again, nodding.

"...Under....s-stand." she nods. Maria looked ashamed of herself. She knew exactly what she was doing.

Taking advantage of others, letting the darkness seep into your heart.

'Was this who Levius was?'

"...They took my siblings from me."

"They hurt the people Ilove and care for. They hurt innocents."

"I want to bring them to justice" the Malibu gestures.

Her eyes as fervent and her desire.

Her purpose.
(Maria Malibu)

[04:05] Kaimar the Timekeeper sighs.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[04:07] Starts to sign to her, "I am taking your boat. That is repayment, but we will speak again. Do not kill yourself. Do not get killed. We will talk and maybe I can help you find strength." The Timekeeper flicked her forehead. He walked away and put the newly acquired boat on the water to push it out to sea.
(Kaimar the Timekeeper)

[04:10] "..."

Maria does not sign. Nor does she speak any longer, merely nodding and allowing the man to take her boat.

...Did he...not have a boat before?

Well, it wasn't the hardest thing in the world to get one.

She crosses her arms, watching him depart with a soft glare.

Pondering her own actions.

And her purpose.

"..."
