2023 K-League Women's '6-a-side Soccer Tournament' Queen Cup to be held in Jecheon on the 14th to 15th

The '2023 K-League Women's 6-a-side Soccer Tournament Queen Cup' (K-WIN CUP) will be held at the Jecheon Soccer Center in North Chungcheong Province from the 14th to the 15th.

The 'K League Queen Cup' is a competition held by the Korea Professional Football League for 13 years since 2010 to expand the base of women's amateur soccer.

Until 2021, it was held as a female college student club competition, but since last year, it has been held as a competition for adult women of all ages, and professional soccer K-League clubs are directly selecting players to form their teams. https://www.totosafeguide.com

25 teams will participate in this year’s competition.

The size has expanded from last year (12 teams).

In addition, the game format was 5-a-side futsal until last year, but it was changed to '6-a-side mini soccer' from this year.

Chungbuk Cheongju FC and Gimpo FC, where club employees play as players, Busan, where Eo Jeong-won's older sister plays at Busan I'Park, and Bucheon FC, where 2006 Doha Asian Games golf gold medalist Jeong Jae-eun plays, are competing for the championship.

On the 14th, the first day of the competition, 5 groups of 5 teams will be formed and the group stage will be held.

The game lasts 15 minutes each, with no distinction between the first and second halves, and there is no limit to the number of substitutions.

On the 15th, a ranking-based tournament will be held, and the final winner will be determined in a tournament between the five teams ranked first in each group.

A separate tournament was planned for the remaining ranked teams so that the entire team could enjoy the competition until the end without leaving early. https://app.simplenote.com/p/5RQwJh

Awards are given not only to the winning and runners-up teams, but also to teams that demonstrate fair play.

In the individual award category, in addition to the top scorer, a new 'Best Player by Ranking Group' (MVP) award was created.

Accordingly, a total of five MVPs will be produced, one from each group that competed in the ranked tournament.
