Kohaku's Prompts
Fighting Style + How does your Idolon affect you?
What effect does your Stand/Persona/JITE/Idolon/whatever have on you? Do you even realize its happening or is it just what other people tell you? Does anything change when the shit hits the fan proverbially? Do you slip into madness, or even take control of your frightened Idolon?
Kohaku's confidence swells whenever Tai is at his side. The animal urges he keeps leashed for the sake of others are unbound, and he becomes an instrument of the hunt. As a mere worm, Tai is more cautious than Kohaku, but no less brutal when on the attack. Though their fighting style looks like just another mad Destruction Idoler to a casual viewer (especially when they're both ripping chunks of nightmare monsters off with their teeth and swallowing them) they do not lose themselves in the thrill like blood knights. They're hunters, every move is to secure an advantage or to catch the opponent off guard.
Strategy-wise, they prefer to focus on one target at a time, together, picking them off like pack animals. It's the same strategy when Kohaku fights alongside his gang members in the real world. If one or both of them is in danger, they opt to retreat and regroup rather than fight to the death and risk losing one another. Any time they can't get a hit in, they're running and kiting. Kohaku often rides on Tai's back when moving, to avoid getting separated.
"The human is a persistence hunter, so he leads the long hunt. Only an idiot would sacrifice themselves for a swifter victory."
Dealing with Death
Some awakened are processing some pretty heavy stuff, but everyone works through things differently. How does your build respond when confronted with death? How do they grieve? Has being made aware of the supernatural altered their perspective in any way?
While Tai is the main focus of Kohaku's love, he still cares about other people. If any of the members of the ID Gang were killed in battle, which has happened before, he would hold a funeral pyre with the others to see them off. In his eyes, shedding the chains of their dead body may allow them to be reborn in the next world, remembered as they were and not as a corpse.
He would feel strongly for anyone else who had their love tragically taken from them, and he wants to see other people and Spirit Realmers reach the heights of symbiosis that he knows they are capable of. If he were forced to fight individuals who he could tell were in love with each other, he would go out of his way not to kill them, unless he were backed into a corner. If he had to kill one, he would make sure to kill the other, an act of mercy to spare them the pain of parting.
If Tai were killed by another Idea Slayer, Kohaku would go pure kamikaze. If Kohaku were killed, Tai would seek a way to resurrect him, but probably fail due to being a stupid worm.
"I don't ever want to say goodbye... not goodbye forever."
Student Council Suggestion Box
So what suggestions do (you) have for the student council?
"We should have a cat shelter for the city's strays. It's not safe for them out there. Stressed students can visit the cat sanctuary to relax."
Idolon Slurs
Which student has the best slurs for idolons or remnants or whatever we fight?
"I don't have time for petty bullshit like name-calling. Kill it and move on."
Doppelganger
JITE anons, I have a prompt for you. All of the build characters have had a doppelganger sent after them, with a twist. The doppelganger is an idea world creature that's mimicking a target based on someone else's perception of them! From who's perception did your build's doppelganger spawn, and what are they like? Is it obviously a fake, or do people not question a thing? Or maybe the doppelganger is even more liked that the real thing? How about your build, how do they react to this evil intruder in their life? Do they try to negotiate, try to reveal them, or do they skip straight to jumping the fake in an alleyway and beating them up?
The doppelganger would either be a boring background character, or a drooling, feral animal.
Tai becomes offended by the counterfeit and eats it without prompting.
Meliaya's Help!
Maybe you are struggling with some subject in school, it could be math, history, science, english or japanese. A very excited and passionate little girl by the name of Meliaya "Yaya" Mihama has offered to tutor you on a subject. What subject do you ask for help on?
What if you have a big project for a certain subject, say Science, You have a project in science about building electronic equipments. Meliaya offers to help you, do you accept her help? Need help with your thesis or english essay? Meliaya can help!
It would embarrass Kohaku to need help from a younger student. When it comes to academics, he's very arrogant and elitist, but he does struggle to stay focused on his studies in the drier subjects, which causes his grades to fall below where they should be. He would rather be doing something more practical, like trade studies or hunting monsters. It still pisses him off seeing his grades fall, because he has a nasty competitive streak.
"Tch. I don't need you to read the textbook for me. Just... hang out and chat while we do our own assignments. It'll be less boring that way."
Surrounded!
Your character is surrounded in a fight! What do they do? How do they escape? Would they just go “nah I’d win”?”
"Focus fire on the left. Break through and kite them out of formation."
