The Tumult of the Gumdrops

What had once been a great, proud civilization, started its decline and sickness, like an organism that has been contaminated by a parasitic worm that slowly bleeds it of vitality and health, when the gumdrop invasion of our land began. The gumdrops first started arriving by inconspicuously, discreetly; like all migrant invasions, the gumdrops were no different; their numbers wouldn't have alarmed anyone, except the most savvy and learned men, that understood this is how all demographic invasions begin. Soon enough, gumdrops weren't a tiny minority, but their growth began intruding unto our way of life. The gumdrops could no longer be ignored.

The gumdrops knew it, as well. As the tensions rose between us natives and the gumdrops, you can expect what happened next: the "saviors" of the gumdrops, the bleeding heart gumdrop lovers rose up against us backwards chauvinists that understood the peril our nation was in. They began legislating more intensely to defend the invaders; like war-time collaborators, they welcomed the gumdrop army with open arms and preferred siding with them over their own blood. The enlightened progressive almost can't help it, as if it's in their blood to reject their genetic family over foreigners who couldn't give a rat's ass about him. I almost feel bad for them, it's like they came out faulty, infected. Oh who will care for the poor, downtrodden gumdrops! The gumdrops contribute to our culture, to our society! This norm of our diseased, post-war era, such a burden on healthy civilizations, would've been unheard of in the past. Who of our ancestors would've ever guessed their descendants would welcome with open arms the mass of invaders that would replace them and take everything that was dear to them? Their homes, cities; their country.

As the gumdrops started pouring in, things slowly started to change for the worse. First it was mostly the male gumdrops who arrived. It's the typical strategy of a foreign people once they begin replacing their hosts who couldn't help themselves but feel pity and let them in; they started taking the jobs of the natives, and sent the money they earned back to their rotten gumdrop hellhole. Then the gumdropesses and their gumdroplets began entering our country by the thousands. Foul, nasty gumdrops, who brought their gumdrop ways and gumdrop customs into our country. The gumdrops understood very well what we had forgotten, they held a strong bond, an assabiyah that we had lost ages ago. The gumdrops formed vast, ethnic networks that acted as viscious tentacles that inserted themselves into the institutions and structures of our society. Soon enough, a substantial percentage of them had been taken over by the gumdrops, and the rest are already following suit.

The gumdrops even took what was most dear to me: my brothers in learning, our pursuit of intellectual clarity in our ascent of Parnassus, was halted by the wretched gumdrops. Me and my boys had been hanging about a cigar lounge in our city, talking, discussing, enjoying some nice cigars and pipes and enriching ourselves with the ink that built our world. What has the gumdrop produced? Jack. He even had to ruin that small consolation I had, where we could escape from their gumdrop wretchedness. What had been the perfect place to study the great classics (starting with the Greeks, of course), the literature our forefathers produced and we inherited as a gift, a free, unconditional gift, such as a child receives from his loving father, was taken from us. That almost quasi-divine gift, that privilege that strong civilizations enjoy, that means nothing to the gumdrop, for he has never had it and will never have it. The best part about living in such a civilization that produced such great culture, is knowing that gumdrops will never know how to. And it's important to recognize this truth, so that you can remind gumdrop refuse, that they aren't allowed to have anything good in life. They're allowed to have TikTok slop literature and fast food. That's pretty much it. So when I read my Cicero, my Plato, my Montaigne, I'd love to say to the gumdrop, "Hey, this is top-tier philosophy. Not that a gumdrop would know! Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha!" In this fact, dear reader, I find a small, but strong comfort.

And yet, when we interact with reality once again, disappointment follows. What did the gumdrops do? Or, rather, I should say, the traitorous fifth column that had sprung its foul claws when the gumdrop invasion started, our most loving, humanitarian progressives? They took our cigar lounge and turned it into a refugee housing block for the gumdrop army. I couldn't escape the new reality, a gumdrop reality. So when I enter my apartment and see the news, I see a gumdrop talking about gumdrops. Flipping through a magazine, gumdrops and more gumdrops. Looking out the window? a GUMDROP walking with his fat, GUMDROPPESS, holding their filthy, gumdrop hands. Their eight gumdroplet children, overweight gumdrops, the're a sore unto my poor eyes! They talk about their gumdrop woes, seething about the vile xenophobes that want them out of their nation. Oh you cursed gumdrops, if you knew what I have in store for you....

The gumdrop will take the beautiful philosophy treatises, the loving, moving, soulful literature and poetry, and warm his gumdroppy hands and gumdroppy feet with its ashes. The gumdrop doesn't care about your family's heirloom furniture you inherited from your great-grandfathers; he will take that night stand, that piano, that desk, and burn it to warm himself. The mind of the gumdrop begins and ends at the present, most base needs and desires. He will gumdrop gumdroppingly, like a mindless beast, and ruin everything their gumdrop hands touch, like a locust plague destroying the Egyptian fields and laying waste to its people.

You know I couldn't let that stand. The guys had an idea; one of the few institutions that had remained quite solid against the gumdrop onslaught and infiltration were our security services. This is another fact of life; the last refuge of dying civilizations, populated by iron willed men that have the thumos to fight back against their replacement, is usually the armed forces and its branches. The Office, as we called our intelligence agency, and our army as well, could still be redeemed. Or if not redeemed, they were still useful instruments to have in faithful hands that would at least carry out a heroic last stand against the gumdrop menace. I joined the Office years ago; we knew were things were headed back then. Things have only become worse, and now, it's the hour of decision, the moment where valiant men, in the spirit of their ancestors, defend their homeland against gumdrop invaders with the only weapons they have left at their disposal. It doesn't matter the herd of pusillanimous, passive spectators of their nation's collapse don't agree with us; some might even oppose us. Most of them already empathize with the gumdrops, and yet there are ways to bypass this obstacle; all it would take would be a convenient little incident... and public opinion would turn against the gumdrop scum. Who knows, perhaps a swift, discreet false flag is all that's necessary... I've already been keeping an eye on the more prominent gumdrops, the people we know would cause a massive scandal if they were to be accused of violence against us. The Office has provided me with all the tools I need for this task; I've been tracking these gumdrops down, following their routes, watching them (not an easy task, mind you; I would prefer to keep my sight as far away as possible from gumdrop rats). But alas, I lay waiting, like a hunter watching the deer through his sniper rifle's scope, ready to put just a little pressure on the trigger at the right moment.

Then it would be the final showdown between our crusading soldiers and the gumdrop masses, where our mighty hammer will come crashing down upon the gumdrop biological waste... it'll be the end of the gumdrops, or ours. So at that fateful moment, where our brothers in arms rise up, in a righteous storm of re-Aryanized Old Testament fury, that we will clear out the gumdrop vermin! Clear them out! There needs to be a new start! Or go down in flames! Like an injun Thunderbird, surveilling the skies of the Great Plains, we'll descend upon our gumdrop prey and burn them to a crisp with our divine lightning. If we are to fail, at the very least, I have the conviction that our descendants, living in the ruins of a once great civilization, will find solace by singing the tales of those steel-souled men who raged against their demise in one final act of defiance...
