$14K or $28K? What's actually in Algo Pub's liquidity pool, checked on-chain (Sep 26)

Disclosure: I hold $ALGOPUB. NFA, DYOR. I'm a holder, not part of the team. I first checked this on Friday night, Sep 25, 2026 (~10:50 PM CT), and re-ran every number below on Saturday morning, Sep 26 (~10:17 AM CT). Sources are named.

Why I looked

On Friday night Jupiter showed $ALGOPUB liquidity at about $14.3K, while DexScreener showed about $28.5K. A sudden halving of liquidity is what a liquidity pull looks like, so I went to the chain instead of trusting either dashboard.

What the pool holds

The main market is the PumpSwap ALGOPUB/SOL pool BF5XygkLmJngpWp2ttbozpzbiS2Ua2PGZ5ptsVCHaga3. Reading its two token vaults straight from a Solana RPC node on Saturday at ~10:17 AM CT:

  • 200,513,604 ALGOPUB (≈ $14.1K at $0.0000706)
  • 116.73 SOL (≈ $14.1K at ~$121.2 per SOL)
  • Total ≈ $28.3K

Friday night (~10:50 PM CT) the same vaults held 200,471,052 ALGOPUB and 116.75 SOL, so overnight the pool only moved by the size of a few small trades.

DexScreener's pair data lists the same reserves (liquidity $28,261). RugCheck splits the pool the same way: about $14.1K on the SOL side and about $14.2K on the token side ($28,288 locked).

So nothing was pulled. The two sites measure differently. Jupiter's figure lines up with one side of the pool, and DexScreener counts both. Jupiter showed the same roughly-half figure (~$14.4K) at 3:45 PM CT on Friday, when DexScreener said ~$28.8K, and it still does: ~$14.2K on Saturday morning against DexScreener's ~$28.3K.

Can the liquidity be removed?

  • LP tokens: the pool's LP mint (6zq8nPKgmHve6h2juK35Ekmb3HZs3D6MJoFFnaiToEtY) has a circulating supply of 0 (re-checked Saturday morning). The LP was burned when the token migrated from pump.fun, which RugCheck reports as "100% locked". Without LP tokens, there's no position to withdraw.
  • Recent pool activity: the last 12 pool transactions I decoded on Friday night were all swaps (buys and sells). None were withdrawals. The reserves barely changed overnight.
  • Creator wallet (84VF…HNRt): still holds 99,655,086 ALGOPUB (9.97%), unchanged on Saturday morning. Its last transaction was on Sep 24, and that one failed.
  • Largest other holder (GXtd…gySYy, 7.86%): same balance in every RugCheck snapshot since Sep 24, including Saturday morning's.
  • Mint and freeze authority: both disabled. RugCheck score 1, not flagged as rugged.

What "$28K of liquidity" means in practice

This is the part that matters more than the dashboard mismatch: the pool is small. Using the constant-product formula on Saturday morning's reserves (before fees), the approximate price move for each trade:

  • Buy with 1 SOL → +1.7%
  • Buy with 5 SOL → +8.7%
  • Buy with 10 SOL → +17.9%
  • Sell 1M ALGOPUB (0.1% of supply) → −1.0%
  • Sell 10M ALGOPUB (1% of supply) → −9.3%
  • Sell the creator's full 9.97% → −55%

These are illustrations, not predictions, and nobody has signalled selling. They show why position size matters on a token this thin. The same maths works in your favour and against you.

Other numbers from the same check (Sat Sep 26, ~10:17 AM CT)

  • Market cap ~$70.6K (DexScreener; Jupiter ~$70.5K)
  • 24h change −5.4% (DexScreener)
  • 24h volume ~$1.7K from 19 trades, 7 buys and 12 sells (DexScreener), so trading is very light
  • ~484 holders (Jupiter). Not Jupiter-verified
  • Top 10 holders ~60.6% including the pool (20%) and the creator (9.97%) (RugCheck)
  • Mint and freeze authority disabled, RugCheck score 1, no risks listed, not flagged as rugged

Where the product stands

As of Saturday morning, algo.pub still reads "Algo Pub Feed · Beta", and its description says the public strategy feed "is being prepared for its beta release." I haven't seen an official launch date. I'll write about the product again when there's something public to try.

Check it yourself

  1. DexScreener pair: look at "Pooled SOL" and "Pooled ALGOPUB", not just the headline liquidity.
  2. RugCheck: LP lock status and the top holders.
  3. Solscan: the pool and Solscan: the token.
  4. When two dashboards disagree, compare the raw pool reserves before assuming the worst, or the best.
