The Reasons To Focus On Enhancing Toto Asia

The Band Toto Asia

Toto was expanding its production facilities abroad and doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. The company saw North America as a growth market for Washlet's bidets and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.

Dhaniram Toto was documenting Toto words to ensure that the future generations could read them. Many words were replaced by foreign ones. For instance dui, which is Bengali for verandah, was used.

Origins

Incorporated in 1917, Toto's early years mirrored Japan's economic development. In the first half, Toto produced products to meet the demands for modern, brand new urban housing. It used the first tunnel kiln in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered automation for production control, which helps to increase efficiency and a more consistent production.

The company began expanding internationally in the late 1980s in order to profit from new markets and sales opportunities. It created the Cera Trading Company, importing and marketing other products of manufacturers to complement its own line of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy helped increase sales and increased the firm's market share in the world.

By the 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development for household appliances that are water-related. It also upgraded its distribution system to better meet the needs of its customers and increase profits. The company also employed the just-in time approach in its supply chain management as well as sales program. This led to a higher level of satisfaction with the customer.

Toto continues to invent in the toilet technology. The most recent toilet features an environmentally friendly, powerful tornado flush. The company also makes use of recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green purchasing policy. Toto also produces bathtubs, faucets, and hand dryers with higher energy efficiency than standard models.

The first Toto museum opened in 2015. It features exhibits on the most iconic products of Toto, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made of ceramics) and the history of plumbing, and even bath units. In an additional gallery, you can view Toto products that are sold throughout. The museum also includes a bathroom with a WASHLET toilet and other toilet-related innovations.

Before the formation of Toto members of the group did sessions with various musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich, guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather and drummers Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

Discography

With a name as evocative as Asia you'd think that the group would be prog queens and kings however, it's actually a pretty straight forward rock band. The band began as four-piece, and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. But even though the band have a diverse musical background their biggest hit was in 1982 with Toto IV.

The album was a huge blockbuster, but it was not without its problems. The record companies put the band under pressure to release an album that was a success or they would rescind them. Luckily for Toto they did and they did it with the assistance of the smash single "Africa."

Toto's musical mastery is a result of their previous experiences since the members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior to forming the group. Their sonic signature has since become the standard for pop music from the 1980s, and has influenced many modern artists.

The album opens up hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write fantastic AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also includes some slow, jazzier tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album closes with Great Expectations, a song which combines folk and distortion AOR and could sound completely wrong, but actually works wonderfully well.

After Toto IV The band's fortunes changed towards the negative. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band was through numerous drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in after he was charged with drug abuse. the band continued as a trio with Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.

Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It was not as well-liked as IV. However, the group was able to release a chart-topping album in 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the end of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new vocalist.

Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album, was a return to a classic sextet format and a more consistent, stronger effort that had a more grittier edge. The more edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the development of the group. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. Keyboardist David Paich's work also was more precise, sharper and less cloned on previous efforts.

After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live show in Amsterdam that was released as a two-CD set titled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released a brand new studio album just a few months after and embarked on a world tour to support the album. In this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.

In 1998, Paich and Lukather started exploring old demo tapes and tapes to make an album that would feature songs that were never recorded before. It was completed in the form of a double-album called Then and Now in 2001. 스포츠토토 was the band's first album without a single song titled "A". The album also contained an previously unreleased track titled "Kari-Anne".

By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New was a commercial failure and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis that affected his singing abilities. Additionally, Hungate returned to Nashville, while drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.

Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia The original Asia members met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be revived. This lineup, minus Howe who was busy with Yes at the time, became Toto XIV. They toured extensively.

In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The group also had the appearance of singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
