Rio Valentine TL
Presentation.
You start in Rio's hideout
R: What do you think is the core of Valentine's Day?
S: I-I wonder...
R: It is a holiday.
R: The day that three saints were martyred
R: The day that birds find their mates
R: However, in modern times, it's essence has changed according to the whims of different confectionary companies.
R: By assigning this day as a period to give chocolates to those close you-
R: The demand for chocolate skyrockets for this time of year, translating into increased profits for companies.
R: Nowadays, it is a day for giving chocolates... is that your perception of it too?
S: What do you think, Rio?
R: I... thought there was no purpose in partaking in a holiday constructed for corporate convenience.
R: I found it illogical.
R: That is... until now.
S: Until now you say...?
R: This also involves your relocation to this hideout.
R: In regards to the recent occurrence of illogical events,
R: I felt that there may be some hidden logic beneath it all.
R: Everything has a reason for it's birth.
R: If something had it's reason overlooked, I'd like to find out what it is.
R: I won't deny it was your influence that brought me to this result.
S: I see, so what you want me to do is...?
R: Do you understand now? You also share responsibility for this matter.
R: In this case, I analysed the data of the chocolates given on valentines day.
R: The results were quite illogical.
R: There was no consistency let alone trends or common figures to be found.
R: There were [Handmade chocolates]...
R: [Expensive chocolates from big companies]...
R: [Cheap chocolates for the sake of memories]...
R: [Chocolate in the form of covering oneself]...
S: That last one is a very abnormal case!
R: I-is that so? In other words-
R: I understand that the 14th of February is a day where the populace goes crazy for a special gift.
R: In that case, I thought about what chocolate could meet my personal standards.
R: First of all, high end products are ultimately the result of mass production via corporations.
R: Second, the food engineering that is allowed for corporations is impossible at the level of an individual.
R: In that case, I decided on handmade chocolate using food engineering.
R: Chocolate is a mixture of cocoa mass, cocoa butter, dairy products, sugar, etc...
R: The quality depends on a high concentration of cacao content.
R: Thus, I have prepared a rare variety of criollo cacao(A species of cacao plant that was at risk of extinction. it makes up 0.01% of the cacao population)
R: The recipe was constructed via reverse engineering commercially available high quality chocolate.
R: The process of which shall be replicated via my personally designed [Avant-Garde-kun Type: Chocolatier].
R: Those aspects of the plan went smoothly, but then I realised there was a variable that had a significantly larger mental impact than mere taste.
R: It was the shape of the chocolate.
R: So I did some further calculations.
R: Such as the reasons that have created who I am today.
R: What would best represent me?
R: And soon enough the chocolate was complete.

S: Is this... the millennium school emblem?
R: Yes.
R: Without Millennium, I wouldn't be who I am today.
R: I tried to imagine myself attending a different school...
R: There are many schools in this world, like Gehenna, Trinity, Hyakkiyakou, Red Winter, Shanhaijing, Highlander, Wild hunt, Odyssey, etc.
R: I would have still become me, albeit influenced by different environments
R: But it's because I enrolled in Millennium, that I became the Tsukatsuki Rio that I am today.
R: In other words, this chocolate represents... myself.
R: And that's why I thought this shape of chocolate was the best..
R: It is a... logical conclusion that was created by logically calculating each and every possibility.
R: ...
R: Just... what is this?
S: Hm...?
R: The making of the chocolate was left to [Avant-Garde], a machine.
R: The entire process was conducted logically, from beginning to end.
S: ...?
R: Sensei, please answer this. If this chocolate was produced with pure logistics...
R: There should be no room for emotion in it. Right?
S: Theoretically... yes.
R: I see.
R: Surely, it was supposed to be that way...
R: And yet...
R: I cannot deny this feeling of [shyness] in me.
R: Is it not strange?
R: Even though emotion was excluded from the process...
R: Those feelings were still imbued into it.
R: It is possible to understand events even on a microscopic level, which even experts may overlook.
R: But I surely missed nothing in the entire chocolate-making process.
R: Did I perhaps make a mistake?
S: Not at all./I'm glad to receive your feelings Rio. Thank you!
R: ...!(Blush)
R: W-what did you just do!?
R: If you thank me like, these feelings of shyness will only double in size!
R: What are you saying, Sensei!?
S: Calm down.../I'll say it again. Thank you Rio.
R: ...!
R: Well, if that is your impression...
R: I'm truly glad. Sensei.
