A specific item can be used to transform certain Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools to provide attributes or other bonuses when the equipment is being used. enhancing items being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot that can accept the component. Most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above a certain level. Some upgrade components have special effects that can be seen when they are applied. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought by Karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and received as rewards.
Various upgrade components are available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions can be applied to any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade component. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used to upgrade certain ascended back items. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia will change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures, fractions or ornaments as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes as well being registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph gives a character boost in their primary stats. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs available to you. You are only able to apply the appropriate Glyph to the selected item. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.
You can level up Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 and is upgraded, it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will give its stated bonus and will also boost the other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and this is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are met which is why they're worth checking out for.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to pull an item or character you are interested in. This can assist you in gaining more experience or to get better loot, such as the best weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their abilities. It could be that they like the design or personality of the character.
It is important to make clean changes every time you reroll. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and run a core development check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue by using a plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck you have. During this time, it is recommended to avoid any optional enemy camps to avoid wasting time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is to be sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. These can include upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and purchasing upgrades. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling might not be a necessity but it's an option to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. It can be used to find the best character or to play around with different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is a group of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a class). Sets can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection and difference.
Upgrades make a set item better than before. For weapons and armor, this means it gains a higher base defense value and an lower strength requirement, and a lower level requirement.
Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets up to parity with items in higher-tier sets. For instance upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance even more. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
