A boat beneath a sunny sky,
Lingering onward dreamily
In an evening of July —Children three that nestle near,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Pleased a simple tale to hear —Long has paled that sunny sky:
Echoes fade and memories die:
Autumn frosts have slain July.Still she haunts me, phantomwise,
Alice moving under skies
Never seen by waking eyes.Children yet, the tale to hear,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Lovingly shall nestle near.In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:Ever drifting down the stream —
Lingering in the golden gleam —
Life, what is it but a dream?

Appearance
Alice has long, curly golden blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. She has quite an average height, but still appearing quite petite for a girl around her age.
Personality
Alice appears as a well-mannered, soft-spoken and cheerful girl with a big heart and great curiosity. She is very polite and never raise her voice to anyone, cares for even strangers, and simply loves to help people. She admits that brings a strange sense of happiness to herself when she sees people happy. Her downfall though, is that she's a very curious person and sometimes can be too trustful.
Although most of the time she displays a childlike behaviour, she can behave in a more mature manner when the circumstance demands it.
Background Story
It was a sunny afternoon. The seven years old Alice was playing by herself at the backyard of her garden when she caught a glimpse of a white rabbit wearing a suit. That's when she remembered the favourite fairytale that has the similar character— a rabbit which wears a suit also.
Like the main character in that story and because of her great curiosity, she chased after the rabbit. She slipped into a hole when she did.
It's the exact same of that story! Alice fell down the rabbit hole which seem to defy any logic in the world! Tables, tea sets, some books- they were floating about in it!
The rest are the exact same as the story she heard for bedtime stories.
She has arrived in a place she recognized as Wonderland, where nothing makes sense at all. Plants, animals, they can talk. She met a cat with wide grin on its face which can vanish, a wise caterpillar, having tea party with the Mad Hatter and his friends, meeting the White Rabbit once again. The Knave and Queen of Hearts—
But there are some differences.
The White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Dormouse and March Hare, they're not animals described in the story she has heard. In fact, they're- very human it surprised Alice. The difference between them and her is that White Rabbit has a pair of white rabbit ears and tail, the Dormouse has a pair of mouse ears and the March Hare's is alike to the White Rabbit. Their appearances aren't scary at all, they're perfectly normal!
Surprisingly also, the Red Queen isn't really like the one in the story. True that she has a bad temper and doesn't hesitate to hand punishment to those who dare to disobey her, but with the right words to choose in order to talk to her, she makes a quite nice company. Little Alice even had a nice tea time with her!
That's when it's confirmed that the story of 'Alice in Wonderland' is based on real story— the experience of a girl named Alice who indeed, fell into Wonderland hundred years ago.
Since that Alice went back into her world, the Wonderland has changed significantly. It's not longer under the rule of a tyrannical Queen of Hearts. Though the current one is not a very good one, Alice thought, but she's not as cruel as the one in the story.
Alice also seemed to have caught the interest of the Red Queen, for she's allowed to return here whenever she wishes. The Queen gave her a pocket watch which will be the item which allows her to pass through the barrier and enter Wonderland. This time, she's able to enter because of the White Rabbit and she just barely manage to pass through before the entrance is completely closed and sealed by the barrier.
Ever since then, Alice had been frequently visiting the said world, very often even. And because of that, she has a very close bond with the inhabitants of Wonderland.
She has always been home-schooled and her parents are often overseas. Not to mention that most of her servants also didn't seem to care much about her well-being. They just simply have to make sure that she's fed and stay healthy. That's why she doesn't have to worry about getting questioned of where she's going during her free time, for they always think that she must be just playing by herself in the garden.
