15/12/25. sighhh where do i even begin. so genuine when i say that Ethel Cain saved my life. When Perverts came out i was going through such a low point in my life, still am but i'm doing better thanks to her music and my friends, anyway, Perverts was my introduction to her music and why i am such a massive drone/slowcore fan today. That album changed my life and made me feel understood. the song 'housofpsychoticwomn' from the album resonated with me the most for some odd reason, really helped me through hard days. I was there when her album "Willoughby Tucker I'll always love you" came out and save to say that it has become my favourite album of all time with the song Willougby's Theme also being my favourite song ever made. I can't begin to express how much i love this woman, she resonates with me in so many ways and she just gets it yk? like, the line from Nettles, "I wanna bleed, I wanna hurt the way that boys do" makes me want to break down and cry as a transmasc guy. And the line "If it's meant to be then it will be, I forgive it all as it comes back to me" I hold it so close to my heart as someone who has a lot of regrets, i genuinely want it tattooed somewhere on my body in the future. Her music is the most beautiful piece of art i've ever got the pleasure of consuming and i hold her music so dear to me. I love all of her music, Inbred & Preachers Daughter are both so beautiful and even her old projects like Golden Age & Carpet Bed are still amazing 'till today, I swear all of her albums has little to no skips, every song of her has so much love and care put into it. Its fantastic and i can't wait to see whats in store for the future of her carrer and what music we'll get! I don't think i would call myself her #1 fan even though i'd like to in some way or another. I love her a lot and both she and her music means the world to me. ILYSM HAYDEN, 4ever a daughter of cain, tysm for changing my life <3
