Detailed Info

Backstory: Being born to two filthy rich parents, getting everything he ever wanted on a silver platter, and having the "perfect life" was something most children would enjoy, every child except Marion. He resents this lifestyle and often finds problems for himself to solve because every problem he ran into was corrected or solved by a bystander. As he was growing up, he wanted to work for the things he got. Despite this goal, he was put into an extremely prestigious school without even having to ask. Immediately wanting to drop out, he neglected his studies for a while until he reunited with a childhood friend that gave him a reason to stay. Marion believes that true success is about putting in the effort and facing the challenges that come with it, making the most of the opportunities you’re given -- Something he feels he’s never truly been able to do himself. He also uses the book club to express this, he made the book club so he could "intentionally - non intentionally" keep an eye on the schools loafers and shove books in their faces to learn. Though, growing up the way he did came with a few morals he inherited, he has the mindset of lower class = disrespectful and lazy. He actively stays away from them and has a pretty negative reaction to actually talking to someone who happens to be anything below high class. He believes that if you’re given something, you have a responsibility to use it wisely and make the most of it.

Personality: Marion is generally loud but obnoxious, but keeps to himself. He wont pretend he's apologetic or empathetic about something if he isn't, his unfiltered honesty can be polarizing but it also earns him a reputation for being genuine and unpretentious—at least with those he respects. He’s seen as a bit of a mentor to those who are serious about their studies, and has helped many! He likes to spend his free time studying or reading, so this puts him into the mindset of being speculative and extremely silent. But this doesn't mean he's a lifeless husk, once he's with a group of people or people he enjoys the company of, he can be very outgoing and loud.

Misc: For whatever reason, he tends to get hurt a lot. He'll usually have bruises and scratches somewhere on him and be adorned with bandages. It's never too bad, it almost looks like he keeps running into a door. Some speculate that he’s just clumsy, while others joke that he secretly can't walk with those hooves of his. In reality, it’s a mix of his own stubbornness and his tendency to take things into his own hands; Whether it’s attempting to carry too many books at once, misjudging a step while deep in thought, or getting into heated debates that somehow escalate into physical scuffles. He insists that he doesn’t mean to get hurt, but at this point, even he’s stopped questioning it.
