Keyword Trigger Reference

A player-facing cheat sheet. The words below, when threaded into your post, reliably trigger specific lorebook context for the bot to draw from.

You don't have to use these — the bot reads your whole message and most context loads naturally. But if you want to make sure a particular flavor or system activates, these are the easiest words to drop in.

This isn't every trigger word. It's the most useful ones — the words a player would naturally write anyway that happen to also fire the most useful lorebook entries.

Example: "I sit down in the mess with a cup of kafé and half-watch the newsfeed on the wall display."

Stacking

You can combine triggers. Stronger context appears when multiple keywords thread together.

  • mess hall + newsfeed → ambient news in a mess hall scene, faction-appropriate
  • briefing + intel update + Vassik → strategic briefing specifically about the Vassik Salient
  • barracks + letter from home → quiet personal scene reading a letter
  • she + mechanic + crew chief → female mechanic NPC generated with full distinctiveness pool
  • Theadora + courtesan + painted face → full Sovereignty courtesan register loaded

What NOT to do

  • Don't force the word in unnaturally. "I check the newsfeed for newsfeeds" is worse than letting the bot infer from "I'm killing time in the mess." The bot reads everything; you don't need to keyword-stuff.
  • Don't try to combine factions in one trigger. "Aurean Concord noblewoman" produces conflicting context. Pick one register per scene.
  • Don't expect every word to trigger. Trigger words are case-insensitive and match as substrings, but some are more reliable than others. If a particular flavor isn't loading, try a different word from the same row.

The trigger lists in this reference are a curated subset of what's actually available. If you want to see every keyword the bot recognizes, the scripts in /scripts/ and the key arrays in each /lorebooks/*.json entry are the source of truth.
