Part 3: Sometimes It’s Fine to Relax
Ramona: Now, let us thank chef Hayashi for the food she made and the effort she put into it.
Everyone: Thank you for the meal!
Iroha: Ehehe, please, excuse me. I ended up joining you all of a sudden…
Ramona: No need to apologize! It was me who asked you to, after all. Eating together makes a great meal taste even better. Donʼt you agree?
Hikari: Yes! The dinner was amazing! The gelato and jelly dessert were so refreshing you won’t believe it…
Xue: …That’s true.
Hikari: Xue? What’s up? Ah, could it be… you want a second helping of gelato too?
Xue: Nope. I was just thinking that this kind of food can be surprisingly enjoyable too.
Hikawa: Being able to suit the taste of Xue-sama is the best praise for us.
Xue: That’s too much, you don’t need to say it like that. But well… The meal really was nice. Please, tell chef Hayashi my thanks.
Hikawa: Of course.
Hikari: You sounded like a true professional chef now! “Please, tell them my thanks…” Like a line straight out of a movie!
Lilja: Xue, why don’t you use this opportunity to meet chef Hayashi in person? You could ask them how to make gelato.
Xue: You just want to be able to eat it at the dorm, don’t you?..
Koyomi: Well, in any case, I’m glad that the dinner was to your liking.
Ramona: Yes. It was perfect. No wonder Koyomi didn’t want to come to our hotpot parties.
Koyomi: I’m afraid you are getting the wrong idea…
Hikawa: Koyomi-sama, the bath is ready now. How would you like to proceed?
Lilja: The bath?
Hikari: C-could it be that the bath at Koyomi-san’s house is really big?
Xue: Given how huge the rehearsal hall is, the bath is probably even larger than our dormitory rooms…
Lilja: So, can it accomodate five people?
Koyomi: Huh?!
Lilja: It can’t?
Koyomi: I-in terms of its size, well… I guess, it should be fine for five people to get in, but…
Xue: We aren’t at a bathhouse. At home you’d probably prefer to take a bath alone.
Hikari: Hey, but since we all are here, I’d love to enjoy it with everyone! It’s no fun if you’re alone in such a big bath!
Lilja: So what do we do, Ramo? What would you choose?
Ramona: I’m getting to decide?! W-well then…
Lilja: Ahh… The water’s perfect.
Ramona: I’m surprised there’s actually enough room for five people… Japan really has a profound bathing culture…
Lilja: Koyomi, Xue, don’t be shy. Come join us.
Koyomi: Um, look…
Lilja: You see… The water is just right. It would be a waste if it got cold.
Lilja: There’s no reason to be embarrassed. Everyone is born beautiful, so be proud of your bodies.
Koyomi: I-it has nothing to do with whether I’m proud of my body or not…
Xue: Rather, don’t you take a little too much pride in that?..
Ramona: Ahaha. But if you hesitate for too long, you’ll catch a cold.
Hikari: She’s right! It’s fine to get in. Come on, Xue, Koyomi-san.
Koyomi: …
Xue: This is the first time I’m being so nervous about a bath… Well, not like I’m often taking a bath in the first place…
Hikari: Don’t worry. You’ll feel at ease as soon as you get in.
Xue: …you’re right. It’s so warm, I’m getting sleepy…
Lilja: Xue seems to like it.
Ramona: Koyomi too. Though I feel bad a little about forcing you into it.
Koyomi: It’s fine. It’s been a while since I had a chance to leisurely soak in the bath.
Koyomi & Xue: Ahhh…
Ramona: Nice, seems like they are enjoying themselves.
Lilja: Koyomi and Xue are always in a haste. They should enjoy a relaxing bath once in a while.
Ramona: Fufu, that’s true. I’m glad that thanks to your idea they get to relax a little.
