About the App
TSX Edge is a focused stock research tool built specifically for the Toronto Stock Exchange. It includes:

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is the stock data?
TSX Edge fetches publicly available market data from established financial data providers. Quotes refresh approximately every 60 seconds while the app is open. Data may be delayed by 15 minutes during market hours, consistent with most free retail sources.
How often does data update?
- Watchlist quotes: every ~60 seconds while the app is open
- Charts: refresh on screen open and pull-to-refresh
- Alerts: checked while the app is running and via background fetch
Do I need an account?
No. TSX Edge does not require sign-up. All your data stays on your device.
Does the app work offline?
Your watchlist, journal entries, and alerts are visible offline. Live prices require an internet connection.
How do I add a stock to my watchlist?
Tap the + button on the Watchlist tab, search for a TSX ticker (e.g. SHOP, RY, ENB), and tap to add.
How do I set a price alert?
Open any stock detail screen → tap Add Alert → choose price level or percent change → save. You'll get a push notification when triggered.
How do I back up my journal?
Your data is stored locally and included in your iPhone's iCloud Backup automatically. To export manually, contact support.
I found a bug — how do I report it?

Is TSX Edge free?
Yes. TSX Edge is free to download and use, with no ads.
