Skiovox Instructions

Now, skiovox is quite the convoluted exploit, because there are many methods for different versions, different circumstances can affect whether you can do a method or not, and some methods are completely blocked based on your chromebook. But, with this, it should stand as a complete guide to get into Skiovox.

Table Of Contents

Info

First off, you need a bit of information: version, and method letter. For the version, you can go to chrome://version or to the About Chrome sidebar on the ChromeOS settings, which will tell you your version number. If you are version 121 and over, this will not work, atleast not currently. If you are v120, it only works for a certain method letter, and v119 and under will work, but v112 and under are not tested often, so issues may arise.

Now, let me explain method letters. Due to some external factor, some Chromebooks are not able to do the same things as others. Due to this, these Chromebooks are categorized as 2A and 2B/C, or 2B. These come with different advantages, which I wont get into, but you can read upon in the Skiovox github. To check which letter you are:

1. Completely sign out of your chromebook, and turn off your wifi.
2. Load into a kiosk app, and wait until it shows a network error.
3. If you have a back button in the top left, you are 2A, and if not, you are 2B.

Now with this, you are able to continue and enter skiovox. For your convince, you should refer to the Table Of Contents to easily get to the part you want to be at.

2A

These are for 2A users only.

v112- v118

1. Completely sign out of your chromebook, and turn off your wifi.

4. Click the Add other Wi-Fi network button, and immediately press Esc twice. The sign in screen should be there with your password in it.
5. Press Enter to sign in. This should be done with seconds of clicking the wifi button.
5.1 If a multiple sign in alert appears, simply press Escape.
6. From here, you should have 2 windows, a managed "School" window, and a unmanaged "Personal" window. If you wish to use skiovox only for the personal window, you can close the school window.
