WENDIGO A wendigo is a cannibalistic monster that preys on humans. This monster’s appearance is similar to that of a human but much thinner, with its skull and skeleton pushing through ash-colored skin. Additionally, they may have antlers or horns sprouting on its head. Their most notable characteristic, though, would be their sunken eyes, said to glow like embers. The wendigo is endowed with powers such as superhuman strength and stamina that allow it to stalk, overpower and devour its victims. They’re also credited with exceptional eyesight, as well as heightened hearing and sense of smell. Moreover, they have the ability to possess and influence humans’ minds in order to drive them to commit random acts of violence, murder, and even cannibalism. It should be incredibly difficult to escape a wendigo attack, if one finds themselves in such a situation, due to the aforementioned powers they hold, but if the monster is caught, they can be killed with any ordinary weapon. Additionally, the wendigo is especially weakened by fire.

REAPER a reaper is a personification of death with a ghoulish appearance, often cloaked in black and carrying a scythe. The cloak wraps all the way around the specter’s body and shrouds his face beneath a deep hood. It is usually loose and tattered, so that bits of black flutter in the wind as the reaper moves. The scythe it carries is traditionally used to harvest crops at the end of fall. In the reaper’s case, it is used to harvest souls at the end of life. The specter might also carry an hourglass, which he uses to measure the amount of time left in a life. Finally, he may travel on the back of a ghostly white horse or in a chariot pulled by white horses. The reaper’s appearance might send a chill down any human’s spine, but this specter isn’t as evil as it may seem. Ultimately, a reaper is a hard worker - its job is to collect souls when they reach the end of their time on earth, and is extremely diligent about doing what must be done. A reaper always meets its deadlines, and is rarely distracted from or persuaded not to do his job. Some people might think that a reaper, like an assassin, is despicable for bringing an end to so many lives without so much as a flinch. But there’s an important difference. Assassins kill people without caring about their fate, while the reaper kills people because it is their fate to die. In many ways, this specter’s work is beneficial. Finally, the reaper has special abilities to match its job: the ability to collect souls with a mere strike of his scythe; the ability to conceal itself from mortals unless it wants to be seen; its body isn’t material so it has no physical weaknesses beyond magic, its own scythe and any other scythe. Sunlight also weakens reapers immensely.

WERECATS werecats are therianthropes who transform into cats or half-cats. There are two most common ways to acquire ailuranthropy: the first one through a curse and the second is to simply have a werecat parent. Being bitten by another werecat, while popular in folk tales, gives only a very small chance of becoming one in reality (though it isn’t impossible). Those who are born as werecats are able to fully control their shapeshifting abilities, while those cursed or bitten change into their werecat form only during the full moon. Regarding their abilities, werecats have incredible strength and speed as well as impressive balance and mobility, allowing them to jump up and down astonishing heights and always land on their feet, just as ordinary cats do. Other than that, they also have good night vision, slightly better than those of real cats and their other senses are also heightened when in comparison to an ordinary human. Similarly to lycanthropes, they are hardly hurt by steel but very vulnerable to silver. It might not always be the case but werecats have a tendency to display capricious and independent personalities, specially the ones born with ailuranthropy. They find faithful companions in other felines, either domestic ones or wild ones such as pumas or lynxes.

ONI An oni is a kind of yokai typically large in size and are terrifying in appearance, and are associated with disease, calamity and misfortune. oni's have an ogre-like appearance, with one or multiple horns emerging from their heads, sharp claws and fang-like tusks. The most common skin colours for oni's are green, red and blue, but they can also be black, yellow and white. their abilities are: absorbing a human's vital energy; shapeshifting into beautiful male or female humans, animals and other monsters (but they won't have the abilities of the monster they've shifted into); superhuman strength; weather manipulation; and self-healing. The few weaknesses they have include sunlight, their eyes which do not regenerate and certain banishing rituals. Oni are born when truly wicked humans die and end up in Hell, transformed into Oni. Occasionally, when a human is so utterly wicked that his soul is beyond any redemption, he transforms into an oni during life, and remains on Earth to terrorize the living.
