"A second hand for the considerably unhealthy and unstable anomalies."
The Y.J.N.A.H, alternatively called the Y.J.N.H, is a Group of Interest specialized in helping non-human and anomalous beings within foundation parameters (and out of parameters if the anomaly being consulted is Ticonderoga, Uncontained or such similar) with psychological and mental needs. We are able to diagnose, assist and allow needs to be passed through with the foundation's higher ups.
We here believe that every anomaly with a brain or so have feelings and must be treated with specialty if they behave inhumanely or in a not typical way. We believe that locking anomalies in small grey boxes, with little to no means of entertainment, causes mental distress, depression, anxiety and many others, depending on the anomaly.
Though we are, in a way, a small team, we have hundreds of anomalous supporters, and we will not give up our work so easily.
Our History:
In 2011, Dr. Jonas was assigned to study SCP-096, one of the foundation's most dangerous Euclid anomalies. Jonas realizes how uncomfortable SCP-096 is in na air tight box, and proposed that it must be one of the main factors of why he is as stressed as he is most of the time to the foundation, but that ws discarded very quickly by the higher ups at the time. With the help of Dr. Favor, they started a research on how SCP-096's mental state influences his behavior, with many outside and inside tests being made. Dr. Jonas and Dr. Favor took their research to the higher ups in 2013, who then took action and remade SCP-096's containment cell into something much more nicer, with a way to communicate with the outside world without anybody seeing his face. From that day on, SCP-096's aggressiveness had lowered a total of 5.4%, and was now able to be calmed down if someone saw his face.
Dr. Jonas and Dr. Charles, due to their amazing research, have been promoted to Level 5 Researchers, and were able to make the Y.J.N.H an oficial GoI in the foundation.
Other research and such things that we have done:
- Created a 55 page long book named "Psychonomalology: How The Brain Of The Anomalous Isn't Much Different From Ours".
- Created the term 'Psychonomalology', which means 'the scientific study of the anomalous mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior in a given context".
- Disallowed the creation of disorder names for the anomalous when the disorder already exists for the non-anomalous, as it is useless.
^ However, allowed the creation of disorder names when the anomalous properties inherently affects the anomaly. - Made diagnosis for the anomalous possible.
- Helped the foundation's psychiatry team with taking sessions from the anomalous.
- And many others...
