Teto Merch Buying Guide

Updated by Warbler on 1/3/2026.

Hello, members of the Kasane Teto Discord, Teto Territory Tag Server, or r/KasaneTeto!

Below is a re-write of the guide written by u/Speyd3r (Sekoree on Discord) to reflect new merch trends.
This is aimed at people living overseas, since most merch releases are JP only.

There are THREE types of genuine Teto merch. They roughly fall within these categories.

  1. Official Goods: These products are sold by companies IN COLLABORATION with Twindrill (Think GoodSmile). You buy/preorder these in online stores. If they are out of production, you will need to buy them secondhand.
Examples: Teto's Pop up Parade Figure, the Kugiya Sake Cups, the AHS Store ("Teto Word of The Day") Plush.
Twindrill also has an official shop! TwinDrill BOOTH Shop
  2. Arcade Prizes: These are goods, but they're obtained as prizes from arcade machines, usually ONLY IN JAPAN. You will need to buy these goods secondhand.
Examples: Fukuya's Osuwari Big ("Fatass") Plushie, Fukuya's Nuipurike Plushies, Taito's Plush Mascot Series.
  3. Fan-made (Doujin): Merch made by third-parties (producers, fangroups, etc). Obtaining these depend -- you could buy these from events like Comiket, on a public listing, or when a merch drop is opened, but most of the time you will find these secondhand.
Examples: The Creco x 32ki Merch, Fanmade Chinese Fuwa Plushie (sold by 白桃工作室), merch on the TetoFes Shop.

Below are some general guidelines when shopping for Teto merch. Click below for an overview of some noteable official Teto merch (the plushies and figures, as these are highly desired by Tetofans.)

1. Stay Informed!

New Teto merch releases all the time, but most are only around for a limited time.

To stay informed, try following Twindrill's Official Twitter and Information BoardS!!
Twindrill's Twitter/X Page
Official Teto Info Page (Pixiv FANBOX, in Japanese)
Official Archive of Official/Collab Teto Goods (Teto's Official Website, in Japanese)

You can also check #announcements or #teds-newsdesk on the Kasane Teto Discord Fanserver from time to time.

An additional helpful resource is Teto's MyFigureCollection category! Thanks to the tireless of users in the Kasane Teto Fanclub on this site, there is an accurate, up-to-date record of Teto merch over the decades! You can also find vetted, official partners who sell/preorder Teto merch by clicking into an item entry and reading its comments!

If you're looking for plushie releases specifically, it may also help to follow the Fukuya account or the Taito Toys account (these companies made some of the recent Teto arcade prize plushies).

2. Proxy Info

It's an annoying topic, but since most things get released only in Japan/only have domestic shipping options, there isn't much you can do about it. Proxy services serve as your "Shopper in Japan": They buy the Japanese products you want, then ship it to you!

This reddit thread lists a non-comprehensive list of your proxy options.

Friendly reminder, eBay is VERY overpriced depending on item (as these sellers are usually middlemen or dropshippers), only use if you have no other option/something isn't available anywhere else!

Most Teto merch are out of production or are arcade prizes. To buy these, you will need to buy them secondhand from either mercari.jp (not to be confused with Mercari) or Yahoo Japan (JDirectItems) Shopping/Auctions.

Proxy sites will make buying from these websites possible. The sites below (not an exhaustive list) will help you select and buy listings from these sites.

  • Buyee
    • This proxy is built-into mercari.jp, if you like browsing using the actual site, then going into your proxy, go with this site.
    • 🇺🇸 Has DDP options for prepaying tariffs.
    • 🇺🇸 Has been observed to reject ceramic and tableware orders, like the Sake Cups. See this suspension notice for other rejected items.
  • ZenMarket
    • 🇺🇸 Has DDP options for prepaying tariffs. Will ship products that Buyee will not.
    • 🇪🇺 Lets you prepay import tax for purchases under 150€. (thanks u/lansboen!)
  • DEJAPAN
  • Japan Rabbit
  • Nekoyo
  • Tenso JAPAN or Blackship
    • Forwarding service: Lets you forward purchases to a Japanese address, allowing you to purchase products from sites that might not be supported from above. Don't use this unless you know what you're doing -- ordering in Japanese is challenging and you MUST verify your ID with them to comply with Japanese forwarding laws.
    • Blackship allows you to pick up from their warehouse in-person -- Helpful for Japan trips!

To save on shipping costs, try to order lots at once, then consolidate it into one package and have that get shipped to you. If you have (Teto) friends IRL, you can also try ordering together to save.

3: Buying...

3.1: ...Secondhand (Mercari.jp, Yahoo Shopping/Auctions)

Before we lose money for our beloved chimera daughter...
DO NOT BUY ITEMS THAT AREN'T RELEASED YET, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE OVERPRICED! Check Teto communites for release dates.
(ex. Fukuya's Kutenko Big Plushies already had listings before released for ~10,000 yen, now after its actually out, prices are around 6,500.)

When searching, ALWAYS search in Japanese. These are Japanese stores! Use Teto's name - "重音テト".

For example, searching "Kasane Teto":
Buyee Mercari search for \"Kasane Teto\"

compare this to "重音テト":
Buyee Mercari search for \"重音テト\"

Other useful Japanese phrases include ぬいぐるみ (plushie), フィギュア (figure), アクリルスタンド (acrylic stand), バッジ (badge), and キーホルダー (keychain).

3.2: ...From Other Stores

Large official merch producers (GoodSmile) or large resellers (AmiAmi) often support international ordering! For these, just order normally.
When preordering a product, you can also check the merch's entry on MyFigureCollection to see a list of vendors who sell/have preorders for that product -- just read the comments and vendor info! MyFigureCollection vets its partners -- you should be safe ordering from vendors advertising in there!

Other sites may have a proxy service integrated into their website. For example, the Teto Akiba Pop Up Shop had WorldShipping integration (though it was broken). BOOTH, the largest Japanese website for artist fan-made goods (like Etsy), is another example of this (Buyee is integrated into the site). You can either choose to use the proxy, or you could submit a request that Buyee/Zenmarket/etc. purchase the product off that site for you -- see your proxy's help page for instructions.

You may also come across stores that don't have any integration for international shipping and are rejected by proxies for purchase. For these instances you need to use a Forwarder (Tenso, Blackship) and ship to a Japanese address. (This procedure is complicated and you shouldn't encounter this at all, so I won't go into detail here).

For merch sold through tickets on merch lottery sites (Ichibankuji, DMM):
You should be able to use these sites as normal. Do note that they are also often region-locked though, so either use a VPN or wait for people to sell stuff on Mercari.

Finally, a note on non-JP doujin goods:
There are a couple of Chinese Tetofans out there that have crowdfunded their own fan-made plushies for sale out there! However, do note that these products are sold in China only. You will need to use a proxy (Superbuy is the most reliable one to use) to purchase these. Don't do this unless you're willing to gamble on it shipping. Superbuy and the Chinese market is much harder to navigate than Japanese storefronts.

4. General Plushie Info

Most Teto plushies are either Production Plushies or Arcade Prizes. I will detail both in this section.

4.1: Production Plushies

(These were sold on a store page. You will need to buy these secondhand if sold out from mercari.jp)

  • Nendoroid Plus Series Plush #50 (by Gift) -- Holy grail of Teto plushies (and is the oldest of its kind, I think. Released in 2015 as the last of the Nendo Plus series.) Give up. This is worth over $1k.
    Gift 50
  • AHS Shop's SynthV Teto Plush -- This is the "Teto Word of the Day" plush. Preorders opened end of 2023. It had its LAST restock end of 2024, sold out almost instantly. $400-500?
    AHS Shop
  • GoodSmile's Chocopuni VOICEPEAK Plush -- Brand new Teto production plushie! Her preorders sold late Nov 2025, and you can still find her on various MyFigureCollection partner sites at ~$20, give or take!
    Chocopuni
  • Chuocho Tactical Crafts' Tetoris Mascot -- This was a limited-run plushie sold on CTC's BOOTH back in Oct 2025. You can reliably find these on mercari.jp for roughly $50-80 depending on the seller.
    Tetoris
  • Creco Plushies:
    • Official Mesmerizer Teto (by Satsuki & Channel) -- Due to the last sale, you shouldn't be finding these over $100 anymore, though it might slowly rise as time passes.
      Mesmerizer
    • Official Obsomeet Teto (by 32ki & Kasaki Sakura) -- Likewise, the last sale should make this possible to find under $100 when it releases April 2026. Might be harder though, as more people bought Mesmerizer merch rather than Obsomeet merch. (NOT OUT YET.)
      Obsomeet
    • KIDDY LAND Plushie & Mascot Holder -- This comes from the ongoing January 2026 Pop-Up shops in KIDDY LAND stores across Japan. I see these going a consistent 2,000 yen above its original price, though this might go up when the popups close.
      KIDDYLAND
4.1: Arcade Prize Plushies

These plushies are found in JAPANESE ARCADES. If you are not in Japan, you will need to buy these on mercari.jp.
Currently, two companies make the majority of Arcade Plushies -- Fukuya and Taito Toys.
Below, I list the currently available arcade prizes on mercari.jp. I will update this as more come out.

  • Fukuya Plushies:
    • Round1 "Kasane Teto's 15 Anniversary" Release (2023):
      • Osuwari BIG -- This is the "Fatass" Plush. You aren't going to get this one for less than 300 dollars due to its popularity.
      • Plush Mascots Normal, Yoshiwara Lament, MSJ) -- Likewise, these ones go up to 200 last I checked. These are the rarest of the small plushies.
        RoundOne 15th Anni
    • Nuipurike Osuwari (UTAU, SV) -- The sitting plushies! Released and restocked last year, these are affordable. Best deals can get you both variations for $30, though I've seen them for $15 each usually.
      Nuipurike
    • Kutenko Big (UTAU, SV)-- The lying down plushies are bigger and slightly more pricey, but still are affordable. Best deals can get you both variations for $30, though I've seen them for $15 each usually. Sometimes priced just a tad higher.
      Kutenko Big
    • Francepan/French Bread (by Fukuya: UTAU, SV)-- She's hugging a baguette, so cute! These still are affordable. Best deals can get you both variations for $30, though I've seen them for $15 each usually. As these are a newer release, I've seen them as low as $6 sometimes, but $15 might be a decent average for these too.
      Francepan
    • Upcoming: Nuipurike Osuwari BIG, Face Cushion, Finger Puppet Series. Kapukko Friends Series. (NOT OUT YET.)
      Preview 1
      Kapukko Friends
  • Taito Plushies
    • Plush Mascot vol.1 (SV, UTAU, White Coat )-- Small hangable mascots! These go as cheap as $5 if you look enough on mercari.jp.
      Plush Mascot vol.1
    • Plush Mascot vol.2 (VoicePeak, Override, Ultra Trailer)-- Same as above, just with new outfits! These go as cheap as $5 if you look enough on mercari.jp.
      Plush Mascot vol.2
    • Upcoming: Techinui Series (NOT OUT YET.)
      Techinui
  • SEGA Plushies
    • Upcoming: Fuwa Puchi (Mascot Series and Size M Plush), Nesoberi Series (NOT OUT YET.)
      Fuwa Puchi
      Nesoberi

5. General Figure/Other Info

Most of Teto's figures until recently were garage kits -- I will ignore those and focus on the production figures you might find secondhand.

  • Goodsmile Figures:
    • UTAU Nendoroid #569 -- The original Teto Nendo, Panzerfaust mic and all! It's exclusive was a set of praying hands. You won't find this cheap, it goes for almost $500.
      Nendo 569
    • 1/7 Scale Yoshiwara Lament ver. -- Teto's first scale figure. I've found this for $300-$400, be careful buying this (as I've heard its bulky and also fragile to ship.)
      Yoshiwara
    • SynthV Nendoroid #2344 -- Teto's SV nendo! Released earlier on, but was rereleased in 2025 with the UTAU remake. You can still preorder her for 7,500 yen on various preorder sites!
      Nendo 2344
    • UTAU Nendoroid 2.0 #2890 -- The remold of the UTAU nendo using the more modern Nendoroid style! Was released in 2025 with the SV rerelease. You can still preorder her for 7,500 yen on various preorder sites!
      Nendo 2890
    • Pop Up Parade Size L -- A UTAU figure sporting her classic UTAU pose! She just came out, beware of the over-$100 markups on Mercari. I swear you can find her for cheaper if you look hard enough!
      PopupParade
  • SEGA's Chokonose Figure -- This is an upcoming cheeky Cup Noodle lid figure. You can find preorders of this for roughly 5,000 yen, but you can also wait for her release.
    Chokonose

Thanks for reading all the way!
