The Summer 2026 Event: Counterattack! The Battle of the 31st Squadron commenced on July 8th. The 2nd stage of the event, L'Élan de la Flotte Française, started on the 19th. It is a medium scale event with 5 maps and 10 new girls announced. The event is expected to run for a month and a half.
First stage ships include DD Kiri (E-1 Drop), DD Hanazuki (E-1 & E-2 Drop), CL Reno (E-2 Reward), FBB Indiana (E-2 & E-3 Drop), and CVL Independence (E-3 Reward).
Second stage ships include DD Vautour (E-4 Drop), CA Algérie (E-4 Reward), AS Hie Maru (E-5 Drop), DD Visby (E-5 Drop), and CV Béarn (E-5 Reward).
New equipment include the 61cm Quadruple (Oxygen) Torpedo Mount Model 5 Kai 3 and SB2U-2.
A notable returning reward is the XF5U or "Flying Pancake" which can be obtained from E-3甲.
You don't get to bring friends.
With the Summer 2026 Update, Teru Teru Bouzu could be exchanged for rewards. The exchange period ended with the start of the Summer Event.
A new item called Hanger Expansion has been added. It can be used to increase the plane capacity of a carrier's slot. It is in early implementation and will become available to BBV and CAV in the fall.
5-6 has been implemented. To unlock each month, you must clear 5-5. This map contains 1 TP phase and 2 boss phases. Clearing the map rewards 225 ranking points, 4 Development Materials, and 1 Arsenal Resource.
5-5 has seen a reduction in difficulty.
Akashi improvement has been updated to use the new Arsenal Resource which can remove all improvements from an item making it available to be used as improvement material.

May ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the 38cm Quadruple Gun Mount Kai Deux, Special Type 4 Amphibious Tank KaiS, Loire 130M, Loire 130M Kai (Skilled), and Daihatsu Landing Craft (R35 & French Soldiers) [NEW].
As of October 16, 2025 the game has entered Flight II-A mode.
A VPN/Proxy is no longer required to log into the game. You will still need one if you access the game via DMM.
As of mid October 2023 The terms and conditions for the DMM games platform have changed. After 1 year of inactivity games on the platform will have the right to delete your account information if they wish to. Put simply IF YOU GO ONE YEAR WITHOUT LOGGING INTO SHIPTHIS YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR SHIPS EVER AGAIN.
