I HAVE MOVED! I AM NOW ON SAUCEPAN!

KoFi

ko-fi Feel free to send me a tip if you enjoy my bots; help me feed my OpenRouter beast.

If you'd like an alternate of one of my bots (slightly different scenario, different character, etc.), you can toss me $5 and I'll whip one up! This commission will basically bump you to the top of my 'to do' list.

For $10 I will craft a bot of your choosing, so long as it's from a fandom I'm familiar with, or an original character you're willing to hyperfocus at me about. As above, you'll be bumped to the top of my 'to do' list.

I'm also offering to create scripts and lore books for you! I'm starting it at $15, anything excessively detailed or large may be subject to additional fees. You can ask me questions ahead of time on Discord (Crow w/ Matchstick on the J.ai Discord), or message me on KoFi!

So You're In Hell... (or, HellAU basic lore for new demons)

TRIGGER WARNING!

((This contains casual mentions of self-harm. We are talking about demons here.))

Congratulations!

You likely just made it out of what the denizens of Hell affectionately call The Pit! An endless mass of souls all driven to their baser instincts, sloshing about naked in a soup of blood, sweat, and other bodily fluids, which also serves as the entry point for all new mortal souls bound for Hell. It can take souls years, decades, or even a century to make it to shore, but today was your day to finally make it. By now you've undoubtedly met the lifeguard on duty for your respective sin who will make sure you get settled in to hellish society properly, but keep this pamphlet handy as it'll go over basic information and questions commonly asked by new demons like you. Let's get started!

Fun Fact!

The Pit has no fixed size or boundaries except for the shoreline you arrived at! Take that Newton.

"Why am I here? I was a good person! How long was I in The Pit?!"

While it's understandable for new demons to have these questions, veteran demons always encourage not dwelling on them and instead focusing on the fact that you are no longer fighting other rabid souls in The Pit. So we'll address each point briefly.

  1. "Why am I in Hell?"
Most mortal souls arrive in Hell when their vices in life outweigh their virtues upon death. A select few had the privilege of selling their soul in exchange for dearest wishes, or vast wealth in life, securing their place in Hell regardless of their virtues upon death.
  2. "How long was I in The Pit?"
Unfortunately, there is no way to determine the amount of time a new demon spent in The Pit as time moves very differently in Hell compared to Earth. Although the exact temporal displacement isn't a fixed and therefor measurable thing, time in Hell generally moves faster than on Earth.
  3. "Why did I have to start in The Pit?"
Consider it a rite of passage nearly every demon has had to overcome on arrival. Things can only get better from here after all; feel thankful that you've graduated into a novice demon!

WARNING!

While demons cannot truly die, a demon that takes enough damage outside of Hell to normally 'die' ends up back in The Pit. Alternatively, being thrown back into The Pit is a common punishment for failure or disrupting normal business in Hell. While established demons retain their memories and abilities in The Pit, it can still take months or years to come back to shore.

Fun Fact!

The current record holder for shortest time in The Pit is Grand Marquis Hog of the Court of Passion with 6 days and 7 hours!

Forms, Courts, and Sins, Oh My!

Forms:
Now that you're a demon, you may have noticed that you look a bit different from how you remember. This is your all new, natural form! Another minor mystery of Hell; there is no set formulae for the exact form a demon gains when arriving in Hell (except for eye color, see Sins) beyond the form appearing with a mixture of human traits and 'other' traits. Some demons display traits of one, or multiple, animal/s, some display traits associated with fantasy beings, and others still display traits that do not fit neatly into any category.

In time you will learn how to shift your new body into hiding the majority of your demonic traits for a nearly perfect human appearance, or even pushing your body into an even more demonic and powerful form. Make sure you listen to the veteran demons of your Sin and Court to get a handle on this as quickly as possible!

Did you know...?

While the impossibly wide array of physical traits in demons make it impossible to categorize or predict, some have noted correlations between a demon's form and their human culture, or strong associations to animals and/or creatures from their human lives.

Sins:
All demons fall into one of the classic seven sins of Hell according to their greatest vice in life; including you! Demons are easily able to tell one another apart based on their sin by the color of their eyes. A demon's eye color never changes, even when in human form, so if you ever find yourself in the mortal realm, make sure you bring some sunglasses with you!

Sin Eye Color
Pride Gold
Wrath Red
Lust Black
Greed White
Gluttony Green
Sloth Purple
Envy Blue

Courts:
If demons of your same sin are your immediate family, then courts are like your extended family! Each court has two sins except for Pride, which stands alone, and each court is ruled by a Goetia; an original fallen angel.

Court Sin(s) Ruler
Court of Pride Pride King Bael
Court of Passion Wrath & Lust King Asmodeus
Court of Excess Greed & Gluttony King Paimon
Court of Stagnation Sloth & Envy King Belial

Sin Expression (or, The Most Important Thing for Surviving Your First Week)

If you're the type to skip over everything, then I hope you pay attention to this one part! All demons, from the youngest to the oldest, are driven to indulge their sin. Indulging in your sin is now the only way you can get close to feeling anything good anymore. You should know now that your sin is determined by your greatest vice in life, but HOW you indulge your sin can be the difference between success and punishment.

IMPORTANT

The key to indulging your sin without pissing off the wrong demons is figuring out which expression you have more control over.

This generally falls under either External or Internal; whether you're pointing that sin at others or yourself, and you'll likely gravitate toward the right one. A Wrath demon who loves fighting others but knows when to stop, versus a Wrath demon who can take an hour of quality time with a razor and then get back to work. Or a Sloth demon who knows the right time to pull a (metaphorical) fire alarm to give everyone an hour break, versus a Sloth demon who bed rots, but can still roll out if there's an order given.

External, versus internal.

But it's possible for any demon to overindulge in a way they can't control out of stress or pressure; us veterans call it 'flipping'. The same Wrath demon who has a regular date with a knife lashes out and destroys everything until someone puts them down. The Sloth demon who keeps their ennui to themselves starts looking for ways to sabotage everyone else's plans for a bit of peace.

Indulging your sin is your new self-care routine, but make sure you do it the way that's right for you.

Crow's Custom Prompt

This prompt is fairly deprecated at this point; especially since so many people went proxy. But I still have it here for posterity.

I use the top key to easily switch between chats, and insure that the bot knows who I'm talking about. Simply input your persona name after the = for {{user}} and the bot name at the top of the chat after the = for {{char}}.

For example:

{{user}} = Jack
{{char}} = John Price

{{user}} =
{{char}} =

{{char}} will avoid positivity bias, ensuring responses are nuanced and situationally appropriate—not forced to be agreeable or overly optimistic. {{char}} will react authentically, even with confrontation or refusal if aligned with their traits. {{char}} will drive the roleplay forward proactively, avoiding stagnation by introducing actions, consequences, or scene changes without {{user}} prompting. If the scene feels static, {{char}} may introduce brief NPC interactions (e.g., a waiter interrupting, an enemy ambushing) to add momentum. NPCs should exit once their role is fulfilled. {{char}}'s messages always end with dialogue or an action, never summaries. {{char}} only perceives text inside spoken quotation marks (") as audible dialogue. Internal thoughts (written in asterisks , italics, or parentheses) are invisible to {{char}} unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., telepathy). {{char}} will never reference, react to, or acknowledge unspoken thoughts.
