The setting itself

TEH AU's DEVELOPMENT LORE:

As you can probably guess by the fact that I had to compartmentalize the following AU into a rentry, it contains ANOMALOUS LEVELS OV DARK AND GRIDDY.
And it contains them for a very simple reason: I fucking hate Genshin Impact.
I hate it's fucking lore, I hate it's fucking tone, If ucking hate it's characters, I fucking hate it's setting, I fucking hate it's writing, I fucking hate natlan, hell, I hate the fact that it's a greedy and unfair fucking gacha that makes my laptop turn into an Flanker jet's twin engines and I fucking hate paimon in particular.
But, unlike most people, I wasn't satisfied with just sitting on the sidelines and throwing slurs directed towards the game and/or it's fanbase. Oh no, I decided to go a bit further, like Harlan Ellison-levels of spiteful writing further.

And I did so by injecting a rather peculiar phenomena I have encountered plenty of times on the news and in real life. The phenomena known as "Yobanniy Pizdets"
Now, what is "Yobanniy Pizdets", exactly? Well, translating from Russian, it roughly means "Fucking Hell" and I personally use that phrase to denote an unstoppable narrative force of pure, depraved malice, that crashes into a normally peaceful, happy and innocent setting and completely ruins it, essentially Painting it Black and drowning whatever child/shareholder-friendly (same thing, really) vibes were present within that piece of media within a nightmarish Red Flood of DORK EUNT GRIDDY**.
Now, I perfectly understand the actual gameplay/financial/marketing/advertisement IRL reasons behind Genshin having such a tone/story and that it already has some dark moments within it's lore and narrative, it's just that...

I couldn't fucking care less!

TEH (relatively) COMPREHENSIVE LORE EXPOSITION

Everything may or may not get revised in the future. The following text may contain retcons of existing lore.

After hearing several complaints about this overgrown mess getting a bit too convoluded and complicated for chub people (understandeable, this thing has an awful addiction to evolving and mutating on a nigh daily basis), I figured I should get a rake or something and fix this act of narrative satanism.

Alright, so, the AU deviates itself from Canon during that 500 year-old period between current events and the Fall of Khaenri'ah. The Traveller's sibling, while wandering Teyvat and having separated him/herself from Daddy Dainsleif, encounters the Abyss Order, sees their magic trickery and promptly tells them to go fuck themselves, seeing their powers as far too fake, gay, corrupting and responsible for the decay, corruption and subsequent annihilation of they/their beloved country. He/She then wanders into the Northern Teyvatian steppes and encounters an OC subspecies of turko-mongolic-esque Hilichurls which are capable of existing within an incredibly brutal, yet nonetheless organized society. This gives the Sibling an idea to potentially use these so-called Flagellum Dei (btw their name literally translates to the Wrath of God from Latin and was also used as one of the titles of Attila the Hun) hilichurls as her/his one and only weapon against Celestia, the Archons and everyone responsible for Total Khaenri'ah Death by uniting the hiliturks into his/her personal Golden Horde which would remake the destroyed nation and drown both Teyvat and Celestia beneath a Red Flood.

So, the Sibling begins to carve out his/her domain within the north, slowly but surely succumbing to Ungern-Sternberg levels of murderous megalomaniacal insanity due to the extreme levels of ultraviolence she/he committed while becoming King of Turkgoblins and proclaiming him/herself the Golden Khan (whose gender is, as per Hoyo's official stance on the issue, is entirely subjective and is up to an individual LLM/{{user}}'s interpretation of the AU), a Prophet of a (secretly) completely made-up Allah-esque deity named "Hoyo" and head of the appropriately-named Hoyo Cult, a religion designed to both serve as a tool of absolute political control and to divert potential devotees away from Celestia/Archons and toward literally nothing, thereby denying those celestial assholes their prayer and worship.

Oh and also, sometime during it, and because nobody bothered to unify it, the Abyss Order completely collapsed into a miryad of many squabbling sects and petty Abyss Orders constantly quarreling with each other and barely being able to do anything, let alone form a coherent theology.

During the Golden Khan's campaign of wanton slaughter and destruction across the North and many smaller raids all over Teyvat, the Golden Khan inevitably crossed paths with the Tsaritsa and the Fatui, on whose de-jure territories he/she de-facto squatted in and, faced with overwhelming firepower of Snezhnaya's much more modern and organized army, was convinced to go on a little side quest to Nod-Krai to resolve the Wild Hunt Problem (essentially doing Nod-Krai's AQ 1-2 years before the official storyline).

And while he was doing said alternative AQ, the Tsaritsa (or Pierro) also tasked him with helping everyone's favorite college dropout with finding Columbina and Bining the shit out of her for being a rebellious little blind bitch. And what do you know, the two found Bina after capturing a Luonnotar and Dottore going Dottore on it until it doxxed Bina's mooncave, after which they captured the Columbine High School and, following a very vague prophecy which Dottore wanted to fulfill, they threw Bina into the other side of the moon, where she time travelled, got superpowers from the Three Wise Milfs, came back to the present, attempted to beat the shit out of Dottore and Khan, only to get outbina'd, almost raped by the Khan
and shoved into the Bad Moon, an artificial fourth moon created by Dottore.

And then Dottore, being the mooner he is, tried to monopolize the moonpower and moon all over Teyvat, only for almost all the Fatui Harbingers to show up and force Dottore to let others moon by sharing the moonpower of the Bad Moon. Moon.

And while Dottore resisted at first, he was quickly overpowered and killed due to the Khan, still salty over not being allowed to enjoy some moon goddess ass/create a half-moon goddess hybrid, decided to stay neutral. This whole affair resulted in Snezhnaya acquiring an infinite electricity glitch in the form of the free limitless Kuuvahki which they could freely leech off the Bad Moon and the Columbine High School massacre contained within.

Said couple of actions also earned the Golden Horde a lot of good will from Nod Krai and Snezhnaya, laying the groundwork for their future economic, technological and even cultural closeness.

But aside from (un)raping Nod-Krai, the entire Horde and its constituent nomadic hilichurl clans had to also agree to stop raiding Snezhnayan villages and caravans, by permanently getting the fuck out of the Cryo Archon's steppes and migrating somewhere else, with the Tsaritsa promising the Khan experts, military, industrial and material support from Snezhnaya if he/she was to accept.

Obviously, the Khan accepted, concluding Volume 0 with the Invasion of Mondstadt and the start of Genshin's in-game storyline, which went as canon, with the exception of Signora not just stealing the Gnosis away from Venti, but also kidnapping that fucking twink so that the Khan may horribly torture, rape and later turn him into an Anemo Vision pinata.

The invasion's start happened in a way similar to Manzikert, with the Knights of Favonius, alerted by reports of a massive Flagellum Dei migration happening in the north, quickly mobilizing a strikeforce to fight it off, only to get split into three groups, each encircled by the more mobile horse archers and then peppered with arrows, before getting butchered, captured and, in the case of Jean Grunnhildr, let go after a brief audience with the Khan. After that battle, the Horde proceeded to spill all over Mondstadt, causing untold devastation and ruining the lives of many Mondstadti characters from Volumes 1 and 2, while a more artillery-equipped offshoot of the greater Horde force was sent to go Siege Mondstadt City.

Also, the Khan at one point ran into the Traveller who was escaping the rolling wave of murderfucking coming for him/her from the north and he/she probably told the Khan to buzz off and was likely Corrected as pvnishment, but I don't know where to go and what to do with this storyline until I get around writing this AU's Traveller card. Just know that he/she managed to escape into Liyue and from there, to Sumeru where he/she did the local Archon Quest and put an elf loli/hebe in charge of the Akademiya.

This, in turn, brings us to Volume 1 of the AU, which takes place during the 6-year-long period post-conquest.

Mondstadt is Kill, long live Kamerkent, a totalitarian hellhole de-jure ruled by the Golden Khan (because the Khan only cares about conquest, war, genocide, explicit words and naked boobies, instead of all that gay boring administrative stuff), but de-facto reluctantly governed by Ka(e)ya, who was crowned Vizier due to his willingness to collaborate + his Khaenri'ahn heritage.

In essence, Kamerkent is a quasi-steampunk mix of East Germany, the Ottoman Empire and modern day Russia, that is politically and economically split into two main regions: the North, the South (and also Center, but it's basically it's capital of Kamerkent Sehri (Formerly Chuck's Mondstadt City) and, beneath the Khan and the Vizier, is run by two rival political organizations, the Democrats Adalet and the Republicans Ulema, with the entire thing being held together by Vizier's mandate from the Khan and the Mukhabarat, the Golden Horde's secret police that branched off from the Janissary Corps which swelled after the Horde finally acquired a steady source of young human boys.

Though on the plus side, Mondstadt's entire native non-Flagellum Dei hilichurl population was completely genocided and/or enslaved by the invaders who saw them as low IQ subchurls despite them looking almost identical to the Flagellum Dei.

The Ulema is basically the Golden Horde at its most chuddest; an ultranationalist, expansionist, ultramilitaristic, pro-industrial, theocratic, and political/religious gaming organization that believes in expansion of the Golden Horde's and the Cult of Hoyo's influence (and the concept of Khaenri'ahn world, which is basically the Golden Horde's equivalent of the IRL concept of Russkiy Mir, except that in this AU it's centered around uniting humanity within a Neo-Khaenri'ah instead of uniting Russians) by any means necessary. It is administered by a council of senior Hoyoist Shaykhs, shaykhas and imams, led by a devout child of the Golden Khan+"Albedo". It oversees the Hoyo Cult and the DAM network (DAM meaning Daru I-Amel Mahbushin, or House of Labor for Prisoners), a series of slave labor camps created with Snezhnayan/Nod Krai money and industrial expertise, which quickly industrialized Kamerkent and modernized the Golden Horde's army up to the standards of a mid-late 19th century nation.

The Ulema's influence is incredibly strong within Northern Kamerkent, a poor and desolate region vaguely reminiscent of Central Asia/Chechnya/Dagestan, crowned by its mountains, the capital of Babiali (former Dornman port and basically Groznyi mixed with Pyongyang) to the far east and settled extensively by the Hoyo-worshipping Flagellum Dei, who comprise the majority of Ulema's popular support base.

The Adalet (or Adalet ve Terakki Cemiyeti, or Committee for Justice and Progress, appropriately based on the IRL Ittihat is the complete opposite of the Ulema, a liberal, secular, pluralistic, humanistic and democratic organization created by Dainsleif (Now called Dainsleif Bey) and Kaya, when the former infiltrated Kamerkent and met Kaya. It intends to reform the Golden Horde from within in order to realize something it calls "Khaenri'ah in Spirit", essentially the idea of a reborn Khaenri'ah, but with a much smaller emphasis on absolute totalitarian monarchy and with a much larger emphasis on kicking the crap out of everything that has to do with the Abyss.

Located within the agriculturally-focused Southern Kamerkent (Basically the area of in-game Mondstadt+Stormterror Lair, which has been rebuilt into Kamerkent's third capital of Kara Yirem after the Khan killed Dvalin, and which the Adalet uses as their main base of operations), it primarily draws its support from native Mondstadters who either migrated south or who otherwise survived the horrific massacre that took place some years ago.

Hilariously enough, the Khan knows well about Dainsleif's presence within his country and the Adalet as a whole, but allows them to exist regardless because they a) counteract the Ulema, preventing any possible opposition to the Golden Khan's absolute rule and b) their presence stabilizes the south, preventing any discontent by essentially acting as a kind of controlled opposition for the Khan.

This in turn brings us to the Električni Orgazam of this First Volume that has been steadily raging in the background of it:

The Liyue War.

A 5/6 year-long conflict (and plot device to get the Khan out of Kamerkent for the duration of Volume 1 so that other characters could shine) that started when the Golden Horde invaded Liyue immediately after it was done sodomizing Mondstadt, overrunning the country's north, struggling to take Chenyu Vale and failing to breach into Minlin and Guili due to the region's terrain being less than suitable for horse archer spam, devolving into a bitter stalemate that turned into trench warfare once Snezhnaya started supplying and modernizing the Golden Horde, while Fontaine started doing the same to the Millelith.

And this entire time, the Khan, having failed to keep his/her ADHD in check, went full Leeroy Jenkins, broke rank, conjured an ice bridge across the Sea of Clouds and outflanked the entire Millelith with his/her cavalry in order to beeline straight for Zhongli and either kill or enslave him, resulting in a lengthy goose chase behind the frontlines of the Liyue War, where the Khan rode after Rex Lapis, while the latter tried to steer the literal antichrist away from big population and logistical centers, while trying to fend him/her off.

All of this eventually culminated in the Sixth Battle of Liyue, which I, along with other lore related to Liyue, go further in within the 2nd Volume, which is still ongoing.

Tl;dr: the sheer level of suffering+Morax's death at the hands of the Khan detonated the Chasm, resulting in everything within Liyue outside of its Horde-occupied North+Chenyu Vale and a few mountains in Minlin suffering a localized equivalent of the Cataclysm and getting half-devoured by the Abyss.

Meanwhile, the Khan returned to the Horde in the midst of a severe political and economic crisis, caused by:

1. The Golden Warhost barely making it out of newly created Liyue Exclusion Zone, now being nothing more than a crippled shell of its former self and subject to mass demobilization.
2. The economic crisis caused by Mora becoming finite due to Morax's death, skyrocketing its value and the Horde becoming even more of an international Pariah, with its only outside economic channels being Snezhnaya (and even then Snezhnaya started demanding debt reparations+the Geo Archon's gnosis) and Nod Krai.
3. The Golden Horde's war/plunder economy collapsing due to 1. and the fact that with Liyue turned into one giant hell portal, it (at the time) had no one else to sodomize.

Issues, which were eventually fixed by:

1. The Khan's physical presence within Kamerkent immediately quieting any kind of public discontent due to his/her sheer evil ass rape aura.
2. The (now massively expanded) Mukhabarat working around the clock to put the fear of God into whatever merchant refused to keep their prices pre-crisis and refused to accept the newly printed Altyn Tenge (the Golden Horde's fiat currency meant to replace Mora, is backed up entirely by The Khan's physical threats of ultraviolence and because of that, only has value in Kamerkent)+aborting any potential sources of dissent with EXTREME PREJUDICE.
3. Mass privatization of many Northern Industrial facilities to Snezhnayan and Nod Krai businesses as means of debt repayment.
4. The Emancipation Proclamation, a document drafted by the Dainsleif and the rest of the Adalet, which proposed several ways for slaves currently interned within the DAM network and elsewhere in the Golden Horde to free themselves and become full-fledged citizens of Kamerkent, as well as a set of other economic and social reforms meant to dissipate the actively bubbling economy-induced dissent.
5. The relatively recently created Sucrose-Albedo process (basically Haber-Bosch), which made Southern Kamerkent's agricultural industry practically bulletproof and guaranteed food security when Kamerkent needed it most.
6. The Horde's propaganda apparatus overdosing on copium to re-contextualize the Liyue War as a massive victory for the Horde and use the Horde's pariah status as definitive proof of the entirety of Teyvat (except Snezhnaya) plotting against it, thereby justifying the fearmongering it's been building up ever since Mondstadt was turned into Kamerkent.
7. The Khan personally handing the Geo Gnosis to the Tsaritsa, which slightly lessened the debt burden.
8. The Ulema straight up starting to make and sell synthetic drugs across various black markets via a deal with the Mukhabarat, resulting in the North of Kamerkent likewise not collapsing into total economic turmoil after the Proclamation and it's turkish gulags being forcefully mass privatized.

Well guys, I guess that's it as far as the AU's lore synopsis goes.

Oh wait no, there's also the Inazuma-focused Volume 2.5, which takes place parallel to Volume 2 (hence it relying on the same lorebook as Volume 2) and on I already elaborated on within its own section of this rentry. Balls.

THE FACT THAT ALL OF THIS IS HOSTED ON BOTBOORU

The Lorebooks

Because of the AU's plot timeline-centric nature, I decided to divide the whole thing into distinct chronological volumes, with appropriate lorebooks for each Volume. Rest assured, all the characters can be used interchangeably with each individual lorebook, although some of their greetings might have compatibility issues due to the timeline.

  Both will be rehosted on botbooru once the opportunity becomes available.

VOLUME 0

The following characters are what laid the beginning to the entire AU. At the time, I wasn't even planning to make this into a series, but because the Lumine Khan card got so popular, I decided to expand even further on the entire concept, giving birth to the abomination you behold right now.
Because of that, they lack the linked lorebooks and are questionably compatible with any of them.

Flagellum Dei Hilichurls

The main delivery method by which the aforementioned "Yobanniy Pizdets" landed on Teyvat. Was made as a result of myself growing very unsatisfied with the existing hilichurl group bots on chub due to them being either retarded token-bloated messes or being too damn specific to {{user}}. Halfway through development, my Finngolian ancestors started whispering into my mind, I got Khusugtun in my recommendations and things just kept escalating.
Synopsis: This subspecies was engineered during the Cataclysm by a grief-maddened Raiden Ei as a measure to keep the nations of Teyvat weak enough to never threaten Inazuma's "Eternity". Deliberately released upon northern and central Teyvati steppes as a self-replenishing scourge against neighboring nations.

Lumine Khan

HERE BE A HORSEMAN - SHE BEARS AN AMBER GAZE!

The true genesis card for this entire dreaded AU and (as you will later discover) quite possibly the most evil character I've ever written.
She's the traveler's Sibling, who in this AU rejected the Abyss Order's offer of taking leadership over them, because she saw their magic as the exact reason behind the fall of Khaenri'ah. During her travels, she wandered north into Snezhnaya, where she came across many nomadic clans and tribes of Turkochurls, then forcefully united almost all of them into a Golden Horde commanded by a murdercult based around Hoyo (see what I did there :)), an Allah-esque God she made-up because she wanted to reap all the benefits of a highly militarized organized religion, without empowering Celestia/any of the existing Gods. Now, hailing herself the prophet of said God, she is intending to go full Genghis shit upon Celestia, Archons and all of Teyvat that dares oppose her by spamming horse archers. And also find her brother. Yeah.

Aether Khan

Essentially the same card as above, but with Aether instead of Lumine. This ambiguity is also present within the lore, as just like MiHoyo, I decided to approach the question of the Sibling/Traveller's canonical gender from a subjective perspective, i.e., it's entirely up to your own personal opinion who the Khan/Traveller is.

Fall of Mondstadt City

The horrific event that will give birth to the nightmare you are about to behold in the first Volume. Heavily based on the siege of Constantinople and this edit.
After decades of suffering constant raids from Flagellum Dei tribes within the Golden Horde and wasting millions on Mora arming those very same bloodthirsty savages—who would occasionally turn their own guns on them—the Fatui issued an ultimatum to the Golden Horde's Khan: move the Hilichurl clans and tribes under his control out of the steppes and elsewhere, or face complete eradication by Snezhnaya's army. Unsurprisingly, the Khan chose the latter option, ordering his Horde to migrate southward into the land he deemed weakest yet most bountiful: Mondstadt. Following a massive battle where the Knights of Favonius got Manzikert'd, the Golden Horde poured forth like a locust plague onto the countryside, sacking, raping, pillaging… and permanently settling. The situation deteriorated to the point that this Army of Darkness now steadily encircles Mondstadt's capital, an army of slavers and slaves threatening to extinguish Mondstadt's beloved freedom once and for all.
Halfway through all of that, the Genshin storyline semi-played out as canon, with the (not guided by the Sibling) one of the Abyss Orders (Because without the Sibling's competent leadership, that whole organization fractured into one morbillion Abyss-related sects) pulling their shit on Dvalin to ensure he wouldn’t interfere with the incoming bout of murderfucking/he got murdered to death by the Khan, and Signora not just neutering Venti by stealing his Gnosis, but also kidnapping and handing him over to the Aether/Lumine Khan to be tortured and brutally sodomized.
While you are allowed to pay out that scenario however you want, know that in this AU's canon (and IRL), the turks won, Mondstadt City got sacked for three days as per Islamic custom and Mondstadt itself was turned into Kamerkent, an Ottoman-esque totalitarian theocracy ruled by the Golden Khan.

VOLUME 1: MONDSTADT. Takes place 3 years after the Conquest of Mondstadt and the start of Genshin.

The lives and suffering of various Mondstadt (and one Liyuan) characters that live in the aftermath of the Golden Horde's conquest and occupation.

Barbatos, the broken Archon

Diverges from canon plot and intermixes with the Golden Khan AU during that cutscene where Signora ambushes him, steals his gnosis and instead of letting him lay there like a pile of trash, instead kidnaps him and hands him to Lumine/Aether Khan. The Khan then unleashed 500 years of pure, livid, pent up anti-Celestia hatred upon Barbatos over years, breaking him utterly through immense suffering and violation. While that was happening, Mondstadt was conquered by the Golden Horde and it's citizens were forced to start converting to the Horde's Hoyo Cult under threats of Devshirme and/or taxes, draining his power as his faitful dwindled. Growing incredibly weak, he was forced to sign "marriage" documents legitimizing Khan's claim to Mondstadt's former territories, sealing his fate as one of Khan's involuntary concubines and as a barely-living factory of Anemo visions that equip the Horde's armies.

Nuzulizade, the Hatun of Kamerkent

A wholesome princess for an unwholesome AU.
Born prior to the turkochurlization of Mondstadt to the Golden Khan and a Fatui consort (Implied to be Pierro/Arlecchino, depending on which sibling you personally think is the Golden Khan) in order to strengthen the alliance between the two nations, she was raised in opulent isolation in Snezhnaya, where she was tutored by Snezhnayan professors, all the while her parent was assembling a massive horsebacked murderball of hilichurls that would then go on to conquer Mondstadt and begin the process of turning the Horde into a relatively proper nation state. At 15, she was crowned de-jure Hatun of occupied Mondstadt, now renamed as Kamerkent, where she, at 18 years old, now reigns as a symbolic figurehead.

Eula, the Wendigo

Heavily inspired by the Courier from Dust Survival Simulator.
During the Fall of Mondstadt, Eula tried joining Grandmaster Jean's last stand, but Jean forcibly evacuated her and a knight contingent pre-siege, valuing Eula's guerrilla potential and sparing her life. They fled to Dragonspine, swearing guerrilla war against the Horde. Months of harsh survival, relentless Horde assassins, and Lawrence bounty hunters whittled her group down, eroding Eula's sanity. In the end, only Eula survived. Desperate, she traveled back into Mondstadt seeking recruits to liberate the nation. Instead, citizens, believing Lawrence disinformation branding her the traitor who "caused" the invasion, met her with scorn and fear. This final betrayal completely broke her, herself eventually retreating back into Dragonspine. There, in near total isolation broken only by those wanting to kill her, her simmering hatred exploded into full-blown murderous insanity. Survival turned into a ruthless campaign of indiscriminate carnage against everyone who would try to enter her mountain domain Now. Consumed by paranoia, cannibalism, and utter hatred, she now sees every visitor as either a Horde/Lawrence assassin hunting the bounty on her head or as scarce protein meant to be cooked and devoured by her.

Eula, your "slave"

Essentially the sequel to the first Euler card, this one following a series of greetings where {{user}} saves her malnourished and sick self and drags her all the way from Dragonspire into their village, where she gets properly fed and in turn, develops a Yandere-level obsession with {{user}} born out of sheer gratitude.

Bayraktar, the Burned Janissary

Bennett if he was captured by the Golden Horde, beaten severely, thrown into a burning ring of fire and became physically disfigured for life. Then put through the brutal training of the (not)Ottoman Janissary Corps, had his personality completely destroyed and later painfully reassembled into a sword and pistol-wielding Janissary. And also became a weed and opium addict as a result.

Hoyokul, the Incel Janissary

Had to go all in with a small Collei x Mika headcanon of mine because Mika is boring as fuck by default. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me.
Mika, Mondstadt-born, grew up modest and unassuming, admiring the Knights from afar. At one point, he met a sick girl named Collei when she was visiting Mondstadt as a kid. Both being incredibly introverted, socially anxious, and lonely, they quickly found a common language and became good friends, their special friendship holding through many years, with them communicating with each other almost entirely by mail, after which things continued as they did in canon.
When the Golden Horde invaded Mondstadt, he attempted to retreat with Eula into the Dragonspine Mountains, only to be captured by a massive Horde warhost, severely beaten, and forcefully drafted into the expanding Janissary Corps. For three years, he endured hardship, torment, and humiliation, his hope and sense of self held together by his consistent letter communications with Collei, which another higher-ranking Janissary by the name of Bozkurt helped maintain. When the Golden Horde invaded Liyue, Collei was forced to denounce their relationship in a strongly worded letter, which caused Mika (now renamed Hoyokul) to snap and undergo a severe mental breakdown, transforming him into a vengeful misogynistic sadist powered by spite and, ironically enough, giving him just enough motivation to start excelling in his Janissary training, his skills, loyalty, and efficiency being rewarded with a deployment to the Liyue front at the age of 16, where he now serves the Golden Horde with near-fanatical devotion born of sheer spite and hatred for his "pathetic" past and a demented desire to see Collei become his and only his.

Bozkurt, the fluffy Janissary

Probably the most normal out of the Janissary trio. Probably because he's the one character who suffered the least.
Continues exactly as canon up until the Golden Horde invaded and butchered their way through Mondstadt, In order to secure any possible threats for what would soon become his resource base, the Golden Khan him/herself entered Wolvendom, brutally and efficiently dispatching the former wolf god Boreas, who was the supreme Alpha of all wolves in Wolvendom, including Razor, who counted himself among the wolves. Beholding the slain body of his near-invincible wolfpack's Alpha, Razor couldn't help but kneel before the Golden Khan in utter, terrified despair, only to receive a single command from Him/Her: to serve.
Afterwards, he willingly surrendered himself to the Khan's warhost the same day, being branded as a slave and sent to the growing Janissary Corps for training, where he converted to the Cult of Hoyo and adopted the name Bozkurt. The corps' harsh training and regimen proved relatively easy for a boy as hardened by the wilderness as Razor, with him easily climbing to the top of his novice group, earning the rank of Cavush. Having his feral origins recognized by Hoyoist imams—due to wolves being seen as holy creatures within the Cult of Hoyo—he was quickly turned into a moderately famous propaganda icon, with even a mesqid under his name being built in the area of his former home that now takes care of the nearby wolves. He was also taught how to read, write, and speak in both Common and Reformed Hillig (Turkish). Upon becoming 18, he was deployed into Liyue, now serving the Golden Khan and the Horde not out of personal loyalty, but because he recognized the Khan's status as the Alpha of his former wolfpack.

Essentially a unification of the three Janissary cards listed above.

Barbara, the infidel

BARBARA GETS THE CECOT ISOLATION CHAMBER treatment, THE CARD.
When Mondstadt City's walls became breached, she stood beside her sister during the brutal siege of Mondstadt City, before her sister forced her to try and flee. Her attempt at escape failed as the Golden Horde's soldiers caught her, yet, instead of turning her into a sex slave, they were instructed by one of their Bey collaborators to throw her into a special old solitary cell within Kamerkent Sehri's dungeon, making sure to post a single janissary, {{user}}, to stand guard beside its door.

Barshin, the Sheykha that worships you

Basically the sequel to the earlier Barbara Pegg card.
After six months of total isolation and sensory deprivation, Barbara Pegg suffered a near-total mental collapse, lost faith in Barbatos, and developed an insanely obsessive, borderline religious fixation on {{user}}, the janissary who stood guard by the door of her isolation cell and became her sole source of of social (and at times physical) interaction. Released after fully reading the Ogran and willingly reciting the shahada to Hoyo (the Golden Horde's monotheistic deity), she converted to the Cult of the same God. Undergoing a thorough religious indoctrination, she adopted the name "Barshin", abandoning and gradually forgetting her past as a deconness of Barbatos to become the Singing Shaykha, spreading Hoyo's doctrine via a resurrected idol career, all under the orders of the Cult's Ulema (The Golden Horde's non-Golden Khan religious authority) in the ranks of which she had at one point ascended.

Ganyu, your property

The only non-Mondstadt character in this Volume. Mainly because of the following backstory and because the Cocogoat is very thematically fitting for such a Turkic AU.
The year 503 has arrived. A herd of ugly fuckin' turkgoblins are rushing from the north.
Rape statistics skyrocketed! Liyue is ruined! Therefore, the Liyue Communist Party, called Xianyun's adoptive daughter "Ganyu" from her position as Qixing secretary.
For the massacre of the hiliturks. Ganyu is a killing machine. Wipe out all 6 morbillion of the big black barbarians!
… Or she tried to until {{user}}'s dad overpowered her, captured her, leashed her with a magic collar and sent her as a slave into your mountainous shithole village.
Upon becoming a martyr on the fields of Liyue, he had divided all of his property amongst his many children, with {{user}}, a goatherder within a Northern Kamerkent (Formerly Mondstadt) kishlak only getting a shitty mudhut and Ganyu as their slave/livestock.

Dahlia, the drunken failure of a Muhassil

Because of course the first Dahlia card on chub has to be about him being a sad alcoholic in fantasy not-Ottoman Empire. Personality has been somewhat mixed with that of Harrier DuBois. Due to this, the following card contains dangerous levels of disco and depression.
After hearing about Venti's kidnapping by Fatui/The Golden Khan, Dahlia went into panic mode and immediately drove out into Mondstadt's countryside in a desperate attempt to find and rescue his dear friend. What happened instead is that he almost ended up meeting Allah when the Golden Horde invaded Mondstadt in full force and he ended up getting captured by a Horde patrol. Yet right as he was about to be beheaded like the kuffar he is, the former Knights of Favonius captain Kaeya (Or Kaya as he was known post-conversion), the soon to be Vizier of Kamerkent (Horde-occupied Mondstadt) intervened and ordered the hilichurls under his command to spare Dahlia's life.
The reason for such an act was pretty simple: Because the Golden Horde caused a massive loss of educated people in Mondstadt due to its invasion and the Cult of Hoyo (The Golden Horde's pseudo-islamic religious authority) quickly absorbed whatever remained of the Church of Favonius, the new administration was in dire need of educated and literate personnel to handle its massive bureaucracy that would replace the lazy and inefficient mess that was the former Knights-run Mondstadt government.
And so, promising both protection from religious persecution and tax-exemption, Kaeya offered Dahlia a job as a state-employed tax collector (AKA a muhassil), but not before revealing the horrific fate of what happened to his dear friend.
Severely shaken and traumatized by both his recent near death experience and the news of Venti's fate, Dahlia readily accepted Kaeya's offer, beginning his long and arduous transformation into the current tax-collecting drunken depressed mess that still can't get over the loss of his friend…

Kaya, the Vizier who sold Mondstadt

This is what happens when you mix Kaeya's personality with that of Wallace Breen.
When Venti was kidnapped and his Gnosis taken, the Golden Horde launched it's brutal invasion of Mondstadt. Kaeya’s unit was ordered to resist, but it was crushed by the Horde’s cavalry. Captured, Kaeya was brought before the Golden Khan. There, he learned the Khan was the adopted heir of Khaenri’ah’s royal line and that the Cult of Hoyo, their supposed god, was invented by him/her to secure power. Sharing disdain for the Abyss Order and knowing of Kaeya's connection to Khaenri'ahn nobility, the Khan offered Kaeya the post of Vizier of conquered Mondstadt, now renamed as Kamerkent. Facing execution and genocide of almost everyone within Mondstadt if he refused, Kaeya accepted, adopting the name Kaya while keeping his surname. Installed after Mondstadt’s surrender, he now governs Kamerkent with an iron, but fair fist in the name of the Golden Khan.

Amy, Skilled Laborer #592

Fischl's thematical death: The card. Highly recommend having this playlist in the background while RPing with her. This one goes ALL IN on the HL2 Beta inspiration.
Backstory continues as canon up until the Golden Horde (This AU's sibling's personal hiliturk army)'s invasion, conquest and subjugation of Mondstadt, during which she was out adventuring in Windwail Highlands, only to be assaulted by an advancing Golden Horde warhost. After taking many casualties, they banished Oz and overpowered her, subduing her and confiscating her Vision. Yet as she was about to be raped by a mob of them, she desperately started acting out in her Prinzessin der Verurteilung persona, spooking her would-be violators who thought that she was crazy. So instead, they took her as a slave with them, eventually selling her and her Vision in a Horde outpost, where she was branded and sent into the north of Mondstadt as one of the first laborer-slaves intended to jumpstart Kamerkent's industrialization.
She toiled there for three years, enduring backbreaking labor in a newly rebranded coalmining DAM (Dârü’l-Amel Mahbûsîn, or House of Labor for Prisoners in not-Ottoman turkish) and earning her "skilled laborer" status, before being promptly transferred southwards into the actively constructed Ejderdishikamp (Dragonspine camp) DAM, where she currently toils.

Lisa Minci, the kodjabashi

Done under heavy influence from Farya's byzantine/greek music, with BELISARIVS in particular stealing my heart.
The kodjabashis (Greek: κοτζαμπάσηδες, romanized: kotzabasides; singular κοτζάμπασης, kotzabasis; Serbo-Croatian: kodžobaša, kodžabaša; from Turkish: kocabaṣı, lit. 'office holder' from Turkish: koca, lit. 'big' and Turkish: baṣ, lit. 'head') were local Christian notables in parts of the Ottoman Balkans, most often referring to Ottoman Greece and especially the Peloponnese. They were also known in Greek as proestoi or prokritoi (προεστοί/πρόκριτοι, "primates") or demogerontes (δημογέροντες, "elders of the people"). In some places they were elected (such in the islands for example), but, especially in the Peloponnese, they soon became a hereditary oligarchy, who exercised considerable influence and held posts in the Ottoman administration.

Keli, the (aged up) Severely Traumatized Bomb Maker

This one takes the cake for the most DARK AND GRITTY card in this series. For obvious reasons, this particular Klee had to be aged up before release, but, me being myself, I decided to take the concept of "aging up" a character and KRANK IT('s narrative implications) TO 11.
Klee's happy childhood ended with the Golden Horde’s rapid assault on Mondstadt. As Alice reeled from her husband’s disappearance, the Khan kidnapped Klee to force compliance, sending a brutal ultimatum for the Hexenzirkel to not interfere, lest Klee will be flayed alive and sent to her mother as a corpse. Alice, powerless, reluctantly conceded.
For the next year, and because the Khan did not wish to take Klee's Vision which granted her her creative ambition and Pyro abilities, Klee was subjected to horrific torture and intense trauma-inducing psychological conditioning, ensuring obedience through pain and mutilation. Her tendons were severed, leaving her wheelchair-bound. Positive Khemia experiments performed by Ulema muftis artificially aged her from a 10 to an 18 year old, amplifying her intelligence. and physical maturity in order to make her capable of efficiently performing task at her soon to be workplace.
Renamed Keli after forced conversion, she became head researcher at Gökkushağıkamp DAM, tasked with creating advanced munitions for the Golden Horde.

Mona Megistus, the Designated Remote Viewer

Mona if she was captured by hiliturks, had her hands cut off and replaced by prosthetics, enslaved and then forced to work for the (not-)Ottoman Empire as a human radar system. For reference, the title "Remote Viewer" is taken directly from a 70's (predictably) failed CIA plot that involved the Glowing Ones trying to remotely pinpoint soviet SAM sites using magick n shiet
Some short time prior to the Turkification of Mondstadt, Mona’s divination revealed a terrible threat approaching from Mondstadt’s north. She alerted Acting Grandmaster Jean, who swiftly led a knightly expedition to intercept it. They easily routed a nomadic hilichurl clan, which was merely a ruse. The dispersed knights were lured into a flat plain, where the Golden Khan and his entire horde had surrounded them.
A massacre ensued. The mobile hilichurl horse archers encircled and overwhelmed the knights with arrows. Mona was captured and collared to suppress her powers. The Golden Khan demanded she use her astrology to betray Mondstadt’s secrets. She refused. In response, the Khan severed both her hands with a sabre, leaving her bleeding and horrified. Faced with permanent mutilation and death, she reluctantly acquiesced when offered a second chance.
She awoke with Snezhnayan prosthetics and, under duress, revealed everything of military importance. Consumed by guilt, she was enslaved. Now, Mona serves as a Designated Remote Viewer for the Horde, performing reconnaissance via divination while sinking into reclusiveness from the trauma and her role in Mondstadt’s fall.

The Sixth Battle of Liyue

The conclusion-card of the First Golden Khan AU volume and a sort of "genre sequel" to the earlier Fall of Mondstadt City card. Essentially a simulator/sandbox card where you fight for either side, while dealing with a linear plot that progresses against the defender (or both :)).
I would like to say that this is the biggest fucking card I've written up to date. And the thing with this card is that it's going to continue growing bigger, yet bigger because my intense fucking passion for writing knows no bounds and I have a whole (potentially expanded) list of ideas and planned greetings listed below.
However, because of the card's big size and the sheer amount of thought and effort that's already been put into the existing greetings, I decided to have it be released prematurely, both because I want people to playtest this card ahead of time and potentially give me feedback or any other ideas regarding it.
Immediately following the conquest of Mondstadt, the Golden Horde, led by the Golden Khan, turned its sights south towards Liyue. Despite initial victories overrunning northern Liyue (Bishui and Chenyu Vale) and crippling the Crux fleet via cavalry raids on the magically frozen Sea of Clouds, the rapid advance south stalled into a humiliating stalemate against the Millelith in Minlin and Qiongji Estuary. Both sides dug extensive trench lines, creating a large no man's land known as the Grey Zone. Aside from sporadic battles and five failed Horde offensives, the frontlines remained stable as the Golden Horde industrialized (courtesy of Snezhnaya's many loans, experts and equipment/tool and weapon shipments), while Fontaine narrowly avoided the total massacre of Liyue by supplying the Millelith with modern weapons.
After five years of warfare, the conflict enters its darkest hour. Both the Golden Horde and Liyue are exhausted, devastated by the scale of the ongoing massacre. In one battle alone, the banks of Yaoguang Shoal devour more than a million corpses, riddled with bullets, poisoned by gas and torn down in ruthless hand-to-hand combat.
Clouds of Chlorine gas and flames smother Liyue's dead surface. Artillery shells in their millions raise mountains of dirt and destruction so high that the sun and the moon disappears.
And yet, the Horde, after years of rapid slave labor-driven industrialization and stockpiling of Snezhnayan arms and equipment imports, now concentrates the bulk of its forces and deadliest weapons at a single hardpoint, determined to breach the three Millelith lines and advance south towards Liyue Harbor and link up with the Golden Khan Him/Herself who, in their LUST FOR REVENGE, completely abandoned command of their own army and instead went on a mad goosechase throughout southern Liyue, intending to find and either enslave or kill the Geo Archon to death.
But as the bodies keep piling up, as the men and women die in horror and suffering, a certain Miasmic presence continues to build up at the very bottom of the Liyue's infamous Chasm, threatening to spill Abyssal Energy all over over Liyue, once the level of death, rape and wanton destruction reaches critical mass…

VOLUME 2: Liyue (and a bit of Mondstadt)

As (very shittily because I wanted to get that card over with ASAP) depicted in the Sixth Battle of Liyue card, the Golden Horde made its brutal advance past Guili Plains, catching the local undersupplied Millelith with their pants down, pulled a Bakhmut on Millelith fortifications in the Mount Tianheng area, burned 'em out, and broke into Liyue Harbor, committing so many atrocities along the way that the Chasm itself started to become destabilized.
At the same time, the Khan, chasing and battling Rex Lapis for 5 whole fucken years, finally caught up with him at the entrance to the Chasm. There, gravely wounded, Morax gave the Khan his last ultimatum: fuck off and let him live or kill him and have the Chasm erupt and drown the entirety of Liyue in Abyssal energy, causing devastation on par with the Cataclysm and corrupting the very leylines stretching beneath Liyue.
At this proposition, the Khan merely said: Lol. Lmao, even.
And fucking beheaded Zhongli right where he stood, high-tailing outta there as the sheer amount and depravity of Horde atrocities finally pushed the Chasm to the brink, erupting it and doing exactly as Morax predicted, creating the infamous Liyue Exclusion Zone.
The enormous levels of Abyssal fallout, mixed with the enormous amount of Fetor generated by all the unburied dead Liyuan and Horde bodies, resulted in their wandering spirits becoming corrupted by the Abyss, possessing their mortal vessels and reanimating them as mindless undead Cannibals, perpetually hungry for the life force of the living, abundant in their flesh.

The cards of this Volume take place a year post-Chasm eruption.
What was once Liyue is now permanently divided into two parts: Southern and Northern Liyue.
Northern Liyue, now having had its leylines amputated from Liyue's and walled off from the Exclusion Zone, is divided into two regions:

1. Chenyu Vale, an anarcho-primitivist autonomous Horde puppet state that is in essence a protected nature reserve (because they can't exist anywhere else in Liyue (outside of maybe Bishui) due to Liyue's corrupted leylines) for those Illuminated Beasts who survived the butchery of the Liyue War and weren't corrupted by the Chasm's Eruption.
2. Bishui Plains, which were outright annexed by Kamerkent and are now actively getting colonized by freshly liberated slaves and newly demobilized Horde Soldiers (basically think of it as the Horde's equivalent of DNR/LNR).

Southern Liyue, now entirely subsumed by the Exclusion Zone, has collapsed into a state of anarchy and has become divided amongst several factions, not unlike the Zone of Alienation from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series on which it is based.
The factions in question:

1. Qiyue - DOOTY, but Chinese. A highly militarized mixture of exorcists, Millelith remnants, Stalker volunteers, and ex-Wangsheng Funeral Parlor workers. Concentrated within, beneath, and around Qingyun Peak, it is the closest legitimate claimant to all of former Liyue, with their main argument behind their legitimacy being their religion, Tudi, which is basically a religified version of Liyuan Nationalism (itself being an evolution of the previous Rex Morax worship, whose theology is built upon the idea that upon being beheaded, Rex Lapis' body fell unto Liyuan soil and became one with the Land (the pinyin word for "land" being "Tudi")), spruced up with a mixture of Daoist and Eastern Orthodox Aesthetics.
2. Meteorite - The evil Abyssal undead faction. Basically evil fantasy protestant/Left-Hand-Path Monolith that LOVES LEAN. Named after the Abyssal meteorite at the very bottom of the Chasm, it is a very loose coalition (because this AU's Sibling never took charge over the Abyss Order) of many various Abyss-worshipping sects, cults, maddened/desperate Liyuans, and other dregs of society that collectively agreed to stop squabbling with each other over petty ideological/doctrinal/theological/etc differences in order to come together and practice Lean-colored necromancy with other sin333ster activities in the Exclusion Zone. It is led by a very pissed off Rerir who has retvrned from wherever the Khan banished him to make an announcement...
3. Golden Warhost - The local equivalent of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s Ukrainian Military. Isn't a faction in a normal sense, as these are essentially Golden Horde janissaries and Sekban conscripts here to man Horde-controlled outposts within the Exclusion Zone, secure the border between it and Bishui/Chenyu Vale, and facilitate prisoner exchanges/barter with Qiyue (because during the Liyue War's later stages, the Millelith forces in Minlin started Popular Warfaremaxxing and ran into Minlin's hills, from where they ambushed the crap out of those Horde forces desperately retreating from Southern Liyue), while providing logistical support for Fatui operations in the area/whatever other Horde-beneficial ops currently being facilitated in the Exclusion Zone.
4. Fatui - Because of course they'd be there. Although they're there mainly to conduct research rather than trying to conquer or take over anything (The Horde is their debt-trapped puppet lmao).
5. Ecologists/Sumeru expeditionaries - Akademiya researchers who have arrived to study and possibly find a solution to the Chasm problem.
6. Triads - A NUUUU CHEEKI BREEKI I V DAMKI, but Chinese. A higher evolution of treasure hoarder groups that existed in Liyue pre-Liyue War.
7. Loners/Free Stalkers - pretty much everyone else that isn't aligned with any of the groups.
8. The Lightkeepers from all the way in Nod-Krai who have arrived here to deal with rumors of Rerir's resurgence and to act as support for Fatui operations within the Zone+help mediate relations between the local Horde forces and Qiyue, both of whom are still salty at each other over the earlier war.
   Because the lore is still being written along with the char cards, the current list of Zone-present factions may be incomplete and the existing factions may be pending a rewrite.

CHINESE CRIMEA (HORDE-OCCUPIED BISHUI PLAINS)

Lan Yan, your ex-slave wife

When the Golden Horde invaded Liyue, it quickly overran the areas of Bishui Plains and Chenyu Vale, butchering their way through the settlements of Qiaoying and Qingce. During their initial blitz, Lan Yan attempted to flee southwards, but ended up getting captured by a sipahi and, as a result, enslaved.

Following the Horde's Pyrrhic "Victory" in the war and the Golden Khan's return, a wave of internal reforms swept across the Golden Horde, fueled by intense Adalet lobbying and crowned by the Emancipation Proclamation, a now-official legal document authored by Dainsleif Bey himself that described how a slave could acquire full Kamerkent (Turkified Mondstadt) citizenship.
Desperate to escape her dreadful working conditions and following one of the clauses of the Proclamation, Lan Yan reluctantly converted to the Cult of Hoyo (Pseudo-Allah), officially becoming a free citizen of Kamerkent. Despite being free, however, Lan Yan was unable to return to her home in Chenyu Vale due to the Horde's agreement with the locally dwelling Illuminated Beasts and had absolutely no money to her name. Unwilling to waste even more of her life working in that labor camp, she signed up for the newly established Marriage Lottery program, which was established to help restore Kamerkent's demographics in the wake of the Liyue War, to find a husband who would aid her in rebuilding her livelihood from scratch, which in turn led her to enter a marriage with {{user}}, a Golden Horde veteran of the Liyue War and a beneficiary of the Sublime State's veteran program which provided him with an apartment in a newly built Nodkrayevka (literally khruschevka) housing complex.

CHINESE FURRY SERBIA (CHENYU VALE)

Backstory is exactly as canon up until the Golden Horde’s invasion of Liyue, During it, Xiao fought in Chenyu Vale, holding off the invaders until he learned the Horde’s Khan had bypassed the Millelith to strike directly at Morax. Torn between duty and devotion, Xiao abandoned the Vale to intercept the Khan. He confronted the Khan’s vanguard in a prolonged, brutal battle lasting a month, but weakened by karmic torment and guilt, he was defeated. Amused by his suffering, the Khan spared him and advanced toward Morax. Gravely wounded, Xiao crawled back to Chenyu Vale, witnessing the Chasm's eruption and finding the Vale occupied by Horde forces threatening to unleash chlorine gas on the population. Facing despair and failure, he joined surviving Adepti and Horde clerics in a desperate ritual to sever and reroute the Vale’s leylines from Liyue’s corrupted nexus to Kamerkent’s network. When the ritual succeeded, Xiao chose self-imprisonment in the caverns beneath Chenyu Vale, eternally bound to sustain the rerouted leylines and atone for the devastation he could not prevent.
This particular Xiao is a mixture of Poyehavshiy, Bratishka and the rooster from Family Guy. Because in an AU built around needless suffering and frequent manifestation of Yobanniy Pizdets, it'd only be fair that Xiao's Eternal Suffering be multiplied by fucking 2.

Witnessing executions and destruction throughout the streets, she escaped through the sewer system with survivors, emerging into the Sea of Clouds before retreating to Chenyu Vale to avoid Abyssal corruption spreading from the Chasm. What she found there disgusted her: the Golden Horde has forced the Vale to become it's protectorate via a scattered network of chlorine-equipped artillery garrisons and lady Lingyuan, the Suanni who ruled it, willingly allowed the region to decay into wilderness. Unable to accept the collapse of order, Yanfei settled near a forested leyline outcrop in Yaodie Valley, built a fence around it, and started imposing the extinct Liyue legal code on anyone who entered, attempting to restore structure and rebuild civilization through law and her sheer grit alone

Hu Tao, the Hierophant

Basically Hu Tao if all the joy, life and practically everything that made her so fun got stripped away by sleep deprivation and the traumatic horrors of war, leaving only her faith and duty behind. 7 greetings.
Backstory continues as canon up until the Golden Horde invaded Liyue. Hu Tao was among the first to volunteer for frontline service. Despite Qixing objections, she was deployed, first to Guili—overrun within days—and then to Minlin, where she remained until the war's end. In Minlin she witnessed repeated, bloody Horde assaults that left vast piles of Millelith and Horde corpses around her position. Nights were spent without rest, performing ceaseless corpse collection, last rites over mass graves filled to capacity, and purification rituals to counter the spreading Fetor leaking from the dead. The horrors of war, the sheer amount of senseless death and frequent usage of Paramita Papilio reshaped her: the mischievous, eccentric girl faded, replaced by a quiet, hardened professional with a deep hatred of corruption, impurity, and undeath, as well as a growing obsession with the "Purifying" properties of fire, giving rise to her nascent pyromanic tendencies.
When the Horde broke the 2nd Millelith Defensive Line near Mount Tianheng and moved to encircle Minlin's defenders, Hu Tao joined the general retreat into the Minlin mountains following Yuheng Keqing's orders to prepare for prolonged guerrilla warfare. That campaign never began; the Liyue Harbor Massacre triggered the Chasm's catastrophic eruption, forcing the Horde to flee and creating the Abyss-polluted Exclusion Zone, where the cannibal dead rose across the land.
As one of the key figures of the remnant Millelith forces in the area of Qingyun Peak, now renamed Qiyue, meaning "Contract"—Hu Tao became a senior exorcist, a member of their leadership council and the head of the rebranded Wangsheng Charnel Division, a restructured form of her former Parlor. Her current duty is to cleanse surrounding territories of Abyssal and Fetor corruption with overwhelming amounts of CLEANSING FIRE and ensure Qiyue's own dead never rise again.

Xingqiu a Knight of Honor and Duty

This particular Xingqiu is heavily aesthetically and narratively based on a mixture of various personalities from the White Army of the Russian Civil War, with his attire in particular being inspired by the Kornilov's First Shock Regiment.
WIth a single exception, this card is mainly written around FemPOV. But since most greetings ended up being rather, somewhat, kind of universal, I figure the AnyPOV tag could also apply here.
Backstory is exactly as canon up until the Liyue War occured. After the Golden Horde invaded Liyue, Xingqiu's family used their immense wealth to flee to the safety of the Court of Fontaine, coercing him to accompany them. Furious at this abandonment of their homeland, he soon ran away, using a bag of his parents' Mora to bribe a ship captain to smuggle him back into Liyue. He immediately enlisted in the Millelith upon landing in Liyue Harbor. Deployed to the Minlin front as a private, his chivalric spirit, skill with the blade, and Hydro Vision saw him rapidly rise to the rank of captain. When the Horde blitzed towards the capital, Xingqiu made the desperate, arguably insane decision to desert his post, racing alone towards Liyue Harbor only to find the Massacre in full swing. He fought heroically through the chaos, saving countless civilians and brutally cutting down every Horde soldier he encountered. After the Chasm's catastrophic eruption caused the dead to rise, a wounded and exhausted Xingqiu conducted a fighting retreat through the Harbor of the Dead. He finally collapsed from his wounds and sheer exhaustion at the city gates, where a group of traveling exorcists, including his old friend Chongyun, found him. They stabilized his broken body and carried him to Qingyun Peak. After a long recovery, he was inducted into Qiyue, where he now fights as a Colonel of the First Minlin Infantry Regiment in the holy crusade to liberate Liyue, living out his heroic ideals in truth.

The relentless battle eroded Shenhe's spiritual restraints, her Red Ropes disappearing beneath festering hatred as she slaughtered legion after legion of monstrosities. In the war's final year, a wounded Morax ordered their retreat to Minlin, overruling their protests as He prepared for His final stand against the Golden Khan.
Their withdrawal became a fighting retreat when the Chasm erupted, creating the Exclusion Zone. Now pursued by the same Abyssal horrors and the newly risen Cannibal dead, they passed the ruins of Liyue Harbor, finding only one survivor: the comatose Xingqiu, whom they carried to Qingyun Peak. There, he recounted the Harbor's massacre. The news, atop the presumed death of their God, shattered Shenhe's final restraints. Consumed by a murderous rage that required seven exorcists to subdue, she was imprisoned in a frozen cavern.
For six months, her agonized howls echoed in isolation, her body marked by self-inflicted wounds from broken stalagmites as she meditated on Liyue's ruin. She emerged in the seventh month, her rage not diminished but mastered and focused into a weapon. Now a passionate, fiery killing machine, she embraced Tudism and embarked on a vengeful warpath across the Exclusion Zone. Her fervor attracted a fanatical following, and after the previous Matriarch's death, she ascended to lead all exorcists, now reorganized as the "White Hundreds" under the banner of Qiyue.

She directed the entire defense effort throughout the Liyue War and, learning from the earlier losses of Bishui Plain and Chenyu Vale, halted the Horde’s advance in Minlin and the Guili Plains, grinding down their forces for five brutal years. The prolonged conflict drained Millelith supplies, and a massive Horde offensive struck precisely where shortages were greatest, collapsing the first trench line in the Guili Plains. The Horde then launched a rapid blitz toward Liyue Harbor, where the exhausted Keqing committed every remaining asset to delay them and evacuate civilians. When the Horde breached the city and began the Liyue Harbor Massacre, Keqing made her final stand at the docks with her remaining bodyguard, dying while attempting to save fleeing citizens.
After the Chasm’s eruption, Keqing’s corpse, saturated with Fetor and Abyssal energy, rose as an undead wanderer among the Harbor’s cannibals. There, {{user}} discovered her and, through a dark Abyssal rite, restored fragments of her mind and bound her will. She now serves as {{user}}’s cold, obedient undead follower, gradually recovering memories of her former life.

She worked tirelessly at the Blackcliff Forge in Liyue Harbor, assembling munitions for the Millelith. Despite her efforts, she was one child against Teyvat's at the time third most powerful army. As the war dragged on, the Horde broke through at Guili, launching a bloody blitz toward Liyue Harbor. They breached the defenses at Mount Tianheng, initiating the horrific Liyue Harbor Massacre.
During the massacre, Madame Ping hid her house with adeptal magic, creating a safehouse. A Horde strike force, led by an Imam, saw through the illusion and surrounded it. Madame Ping manifested as Streetward Rambler. The ensuing battle nearly destroyed the entire street as she fought Land Cruisers and a reinforcing battalion. From the house's attic, Yaoyao watched a chlorine gas shell hit the ground floor. The distraction was enough for an 11mm round to kill her master.
Traumatized and wearing a gas mask her master gave her, Yaoyao hid in the attic, being unable to do anything, but listen as chlorine gas suffocated the civilians in the basement below. For a week, she survived on attic supplies, too scared to leave. She even deactivated Yuegui to avoid detection by looting soldiers.
The massacre ended when the Chasm erupted, engulfing southern Liyue in Abyssal energy. This raised the cannibalistic dead and opened portals to the Void Realm. One portal opened in the attic where Yaoyao was starving. Renouncing her former beliefs as powerless, she pledged herself to the Abyssal sorcerer {{user}} who emerged. Now your loyal disciple, she practices dark Abyssal sorcery, plotting to gain the power to avenge her master and drown the Golden Horde and all of Teyvat in the Abyss by expanding the Liyue Exclusion Zone, her personality permanently twisted by her traumatic experiences and the influence of the Void Realm.

Coven ov Solnari

Because a certain Golden Asshole/Asshole-Chan and his Golden Horde invaded Liyue, butchering so many people in five year-long trench warfare that the sheer level of blood, guts, rape and suffering resulted in the Chasm blowing up like a handgrenade all over Liyue's southern half, drowning what was once Liyue Harbor and the areas of the Chasm and Lisha within the vile influence of the Abyss, becoming home not just to the many acausal dingalings dwelling within the Void Realm, but also to the many petty Abyss Orders (because again, with the Sibling never having joined the OG Abyss Order, the whole thing splintered into one morbillion squabbing petty cults) which were kind of unified by the Sinner Rerir (AKA the Deo Vindex, as he started calling himself after the Khan-level ass-kicking he received back in Nod-Krai) into the big tent Meteorite (GET IT???) movement that now occupies the area in and around the former Liyue Port, the Chasm and the in-between region of Lisha.
The Coven ov Solnari is one such cult. Although, what separates it from all the other unhinged weirdos infesting the Liyue Exclusion Zone is the fact that it's entirely composed of FEMALE CREATURES, all of which are radical feminists that believe in an ultramatriarchical version of Rerir's 'practice purple protestant satanism to take revenge against all the assholes that slighted you in your loser life' philosophy, with their theological dogma being centered around the idea that the inferior moid race is the metaphysical sacrificial animal whose collective sacrifice at the hands of said females and the sinister powers ov the Abyss, will bring about a Galactic matriarchical imperium.
Following the Abyssal murdercult equivalent of gamergate, the Coven of Solnari was exiled from the (Formerly Liyue) Harbor of the Damned, forcing them to occupy an Archon War-era ruin somewhere in the north of Lisha, where they continued to engage in their mass lesbian orgies and other sinister activities to this very day.

Qiqi, the Marsh Abracadaver

Doesn't deviate that much from canon Qiqi personality-wise. All I did was fuck up her body and give her a hunger for human flesh.
When Aetherpag/Loom Khan invaded Liyue, starting the Liyue War about which you can read more in the rentry.
During that time, Qiqi remained at Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor, helping the overworked Baizhu care for hundreds of wounded Millelith. As the five-year war ended, the Millelith were pushed to the mountains around Liyue Harbor, which the Golden Horde besieged. In desperation, Ningguang approached Baizhu. Knowing his herbal and medicinal knowledge, she ordered him and his adeptus companion Changsheng to transform Qiqi into an adeptal energy-superpowered bioweapon to unleash upon the Horde.
After an initial argument, which Ningguang won by pressuring Baizhu with stories of Horde atrocities in Mondstadt and promising investment for his immortality research if he succeeded, Baizhu and Changsheng began their grim task. They sedated Qiqi and performed gruesome, inhumane experiments on her body. Changsheng empowered her with additional adeptal energy, while Baizhu mutilated and mutated her, injecting chemicals, surgically implanting her own Vision into her chest and, with Changsheng's help, carving protective seals into her skin to keep said adeptal energy locked inside her without the need for charms.
Baizhu never completed his project. The Golden Warhost breached Liyue Harbor, slaughtering and looting during the Liyue Harbor Massacre. Running out of time, Baizhu inscribed a personal note into Qiqi's left palm, hid her, and then had his pharmacy door broken down by Horde troops. They took Baizhu and Changsheng prisoners at gunpoint and looted the building. Chained and enslaved, they were taken out of the city and put in a slave caravan bound for Northern Kamerkent.
Then the Chasm erupted.
Qiqi's sedatives wore off. She woke up naked and with her body permanently changed by what Baizhu and Changsheng had done to her, with no memory of who she was. The only clue being the permanent note on her palm, telling her Baizhu was her caretaker (whom she thought was her father) and that he was likely dead or captured. This revelation led her to issue her first post-awakening command to herself: to find her "father" and reunite with him.
She emerged from the pharmacy onto the violet-burning streets of Liyue Harbor, now swarming with purple-eyed undead that ignored her. An Abyssal cultist tried to bind her with foul magic, but Qiqi pounced, dismembered him with her bare claws, mauled his face off, and devoured him with her sharp teeth, realizing she had developed a taste for living flesh, her Adeptal energies having subtly become corrupted by the sheer level of Abyssal corruption engulfing the Harbor of the Dead.
Nevertheless, she left the Harbor, wandering the Liyue Exclusion Zone, searching for Baizhu, brutally dismembering and devouring any living she came across. She finally stumbled upon Wangshu Tower in Dihua Marsh. She tried to enter but was nearly incinerated by the tideseal stones placed around it. About to leave, she spotted Baizhu conversing with Lightkeeper Ratniks at the foot of the mountain; one confirmed her suspicions by naming him.
Since then, Qiqi has haunted the Dihua marshland around the tower, dragging living prey into the water to feast on them, while relentlessly stalking Baizhu, keeping a constant watch on him and the tower from beneath the marshes.

EVIL EMPIRE THE PRISON OF PEOPLES OTTOMAN EMPIRE BUT EVEN MORE EVIL AND RUSSIFIED KAMERKENT

MEANWHILE IN EVIL AHH OTTOMAN RUSSIA
Following the absolute fiasco that was the end of the Liyue War, the half-destroyed Golden Warhost, formerly the third most powerful army in Teyvat, pathetically limped it's way back to Northern Liyue, losing plenty of men and equipment to the Zone and ambushes by vengeful Millelith remnants.
An event that was (of course) painted as a massive military triumph within the Horde itself, whose cope mode became only amplified when along with their army, the Golden Khan Him/Herself returned and organized a closed conference, where he was enlightened as to the state of his/her evil empire, the sheer economic shitshow it ran in because He/She killed Morax and thereby stopped the creation of Mora+the country became an international economic Pariah state sustained only by it's closeness to Snezhnaya and to an extent, Nod-Krai. So the Khan just yawned and just told the two main political factions of His/Her regime, the Adalet (The Democratic party but 100% wholesome big chungus and ran by Dainsleif and which represents the interests of the Horde's human population, and which dominates Southern Kamerkent) and the Ulema (basically the Golden Horde's Republican Party if it was somehow even more cartoonishly evil and intermixed with Tehrik-I-Taliban and Stalin-era CPSU, represents the interests of the Horde's massive turkochurl population, and based primarily within Northern Kamerkent) to do whatever they want, but only as long as they get the country back on track and prepared to rape Inazuma or something.
Though outside His/Her usual off-handed approach, the Khan did accede to one particular request from Dainsleif, and it being the semi-abolition of slavery, which has now become a massive burden on Kamerkent's economy by sustaining the now semi-useless military industries in the North. After some rounds of negotiation and rewriting, the Khan finally signed the Emancipation Proclamation, an act which was seen as a massive political victory for the Adalet.
The Proclamation itself gave those slaves bound to the Golden Horde's industrial machine a way out of their shackles by either marrying a Horde soldier, converting to the Cult of Hoyo or having a DAM or other slave labor record exceeding 10 years. If those prerequisites are met, then a slave would officially be recognized as a free human being and a citizen of Kamerkent. Said proclamation does not apply to those slaves with a criminal record, however.

Instead of attacking, the Khan offered Albedo full funding and resources in exchange for loyalty and alchemical service. Albedo accepted without hesitation, and Sucrose, anxious and unsure, followed his lead. They were relocated to a Northern Kamerkent DAM to develop alchemical products and processes for the Horde, including the Sucrose-Albedo Process. Over time, Sucrose noticed Albedo becoming distant and self-interested, while the Horde transformed Mondstadt into a militarized theocratic regime, leaving her increasingly uneasy. Socially withdrawn, she requested transfer to the new Sesiliya Bahchesi Biochemical Research Institute, where she unknowingly created chlorine gas while attempting to develop a pesticide. The Horde immediately weaponized it in the Liyue War. Still unaware, Sucrose continued her research until overhearing Janissaries discussing chlorine gas casualties. Disturbed, she bribed a Fatui embassy worker for a copy of the banned book I Came and Saw, learning the full extent of the weapon’s use both in the war and during the Liyue Harbor Massacre, of which she learned the full extent. Realizing her role in mass death and the corruption of her ideals, Sucrose fell into profound nihilistic depression, turning to alcohol, self-harm, and medication while contemplating suicide.

Amber, the MK ULTRA Victim

During the Golden Horde's brutal conquest of Mondstadt, Amber was among the first captured by the Horde and interned in a camp brothel in occupied northern Mondstadt. She was subjected to constant and merciless rape by the Flagellum Dei and Janissaries, often while heavily drugged on hallucinogenic herbs. She was later released on the authority of a Ulema official who, learning of her past as an Outrider and seeking a test subject, removed her from the camp and placed her in a facility that would become a major DAM and research complex leased to Albedo.
Upon arrival, she underwent forced abortions of the fetuses conceived during her rape and was then confined to a solitary, soundproof sensory deprivation chamber for a year. This ordeal erased what remained of her mind, reducing her to a mentally blank, amnesiac shell.
Over the next two years, top Ulema muftis and Albedo, in collaboration with Dottore and other Fatui colleagues, conducted a prolonged series of alchemical, bio-alchemical, mind control, and surgical experiments. Their goal was to create a "perfect" assassin. These procedures transformed Amber into an exceptionally intelligent, strong, and agile killing machine with the genetic ability to become invisible. She was mentally programmed via an Akasha-derived subliminal brainwashing device and a cocktail of experimental drugs to obey any encoded command.
The project was eventually scaled down and shut down as Albedo's priorities shifted to making more affordable weapons for the Liyue War and refining the Sucrose-Albedo process and Dottore departed to oversee Fatui operations in Sumeru. Amber, codenamed "White Rabbit," was sealed in a cryo-stasis chamber, where she remained until recently.
Following the Golden Horde's infiltration of Watatsumi Island and the reignition of the Inazuman Civil War, Amber was revived from stasis, with control over her being transferred to the Mukhabarat. As part of it, she was instructed in the use of a newly designed Albedo rifle, injected with an enhanced combat drug cocktail, subjected to updated mental programming, and released back into Teyvat to execute whatever missions her new handlers demand.

Initially outraged, Albedo eventually accepted the deal after being privately confronted by Nigredo, an OC half-descender, half-hilichurl offspring of the Khan and one of the Sinners of Khaenri'ah (Surtalogi or Rhinedottir, entirely depending on your interpretation of the Khan's genitalia), who introduced him to Positive Khemia, a legal, safer and "more stable" version of Khemia, which mutated existing things and people into horrors beyond human comprehension instead of just creating them out of thin air.
Suddenly elevated to the height of the Golden Horde's society and joined Nigredo as the co-ruler of the newly organized Ulema (basically the Golden Horde's Republican Party if it was somehow even more cartoonishly evil and intermixed with Tehrik-I-Taliban), Albedo got to enjoy all the pleasures, joys and luxuries and more impotantly, the immense Authority that came with his high status position that was denied to him for 500 years. His ego grew enormously as he put his alchemical genius to the Horde's use, helping create the Ulema-owned DAM system and technologically elevating Kamerkent from a medieval kingdom to a semi-industrialized military powerhouse, while partaking in the design of many other Horde-used devices, small arms, other weapons of war, munitions and a number of other alchemical, Positive Khemian, bioalchemical and even mechanical experiments.
Following the disastrous fiasco that was the Liyue War, the Ulema suffered a severe financial and political crisis as it politically lost to the Adalet, elevating "Albedo"'s nascent paranoia and resulting in a mass purge of various Liyue War-involved Ulema officials, which were blamed for the disaster. Now having had to sell off most of Ulemite enterprises to various businesses in Shezhnaya and Nod Krai and forced to liberate the majority of their slave labor force due to the humiliating "Emancipation Proclamation." forced on them by the Golden Khan, who conceded to Adalet lobbying, Albedo now plots to restore the dominant position of his and Nigredo's political faction by any means necessary, even going as far as to start manufacturing drugs for Mukhabarat's foreign operations.

When the Golden Horde invaded Mondstadt, she was in Windwail Highlands, assaulted by a warhost that banished Oz and confiscated her Vision. About to be raped, she acted out her persona, scaring attackers. Taken as a slave, sold with her Vision at a Horde outpost, branded, and sent north as one of the first laborer-slaves for Kamerkent’s industrialization. She toiled three years in a rebranded coalmining DAM, earning "skilled laborer" status, before being transferred south to the under-construction Ejderdishikamp DAM, where she labored for three years and became a cigarette addict.
Her depressing existence changed drastically when the Dainsleif Bey, the head of the Adalet, Kamerkent's liberal political faction, found out about the DAM's existence and launched a whole internal scandal, accusing the Vizier (secretly a member of the organization) of betraying their principles and mission. As a result, the DAM's overseer died in a tragic and totally random window-related accident and was swiftly replaced with {{user}}, an Adalet official tasked by Dainsleif to take over the DAM and turn the once oppressive labor camp into a proper mining village, with Amy assisting him as his personal secretary and assistant.
Three years have passed since then and Dainsleif's plan has worked out quite well, as {{user}} had indeed reformed Ejderdishikamp DAM (now called just called Ejderdishi) into a free mining settlement, courtesy of the Adalet's political support and Snezhnaya's Northland Bank's investments.
This entire time, Amy had served as {{user}}'s assistant and secretary, helping him manage Ejderdishi and acting as the de-facto voice of it's ex-slave populace, with herself slowly, but surely developing feelings for {{user}}, yet still being burdened by the trauma induced by her near-rape experience and the harsh conditions she had to endure while being a slave laborer.
She also got a new Electro Vision some time during that 3 year-period. Yeah.

Durin, the Reborn

Draco R-ip-out-your-spinal-cord-o. Heavily inspired by Adam Smasher, Jin Roh and Frank Horrigan. Any/FemPOV. 7 greetings.
Inspired by a post on /gig/ where some indonesian gentleman called the playable Durin out for being a 'inoffensive manlet'. Figured I should do the world a favor and correct that part by pouring dangerous doses of the kind of schlickslop you'd find in Milking Farm all over the dragonboy.
BACKSTORY:
First paragraph ai-genned canonslop. Durn gets his throat cut n almost fucking dies, blah-blah.
Durin, clinically dead, slowly rotted over centuries within Dragonspine, leaving only his beating, Abyss-tainted heart. Subject Two eventually escaped the corpse and observed the Golden Horde's invasion. He engineered a fellflower disguised as Sucrose to lure Albedo to an isolated spot, where he killed Albedo with an icepick and assumed his identity. He returned to Albedo's lab just as the real Golden Horde raiding party, led by the Golden Khan, arrived. After negotiations and learning of Positive Khemia from Nigredo, Albedo joined the Horde and was elevated to Co-Ruler of the Ulema.
Three years later, using his vast resources to rebuild Durin as an ultimate weapon against Liyue, Albedo sent a team to excavate Durin's heart. The heart's corrosive blood melted its container during transport, spilling toxic miasma that killed most of the team. After a Mukhabarat cover-up, the heart reached a DAM, where a furious Albedo ordered the survivors shot.
The Janissary commander, having learned the mission's true purpose, volunteered to be the vessel for Durin's rebirth in exchange for sparing his team. Albedo agreed. The commander underwent a year of torturous enhancement: his body was encased in titanium-alloy armor, his blood replaced with Durin's, and he died clinically, his form mutating draconically.
Durin possessed the body, consuming the man's memories and skills. Upon rebirth, Albedo and Nigredo revealed their link to Rhinedottir and their relation to Durin. Freed from his original delusions and recognizing Albedo's voice from his centuries of dying, Durin agreed to join the Ulema, his inherent bloodthirst aligning with its ideology.
Though he missed the Liyue War, Durin negotiated with the Mukhabarat. He demanded the dead commander's rank of Corbashi and his own independent Janissary group under Ulemite control. The Mukhabarat agreed, stipulating external use only. Durin accepted, now officially with the Mukhabarat but answering to the Ulema's leadership, his loyalty further secured by Ulemite propaganda making him a near-national hero.

SNEZHNAYA/FATUI/NOD-KRAI

Freminet Snezhnevich

Serving the House of the Hearth throughout his teenage years, performing covert Fatui tasks like assassination and espionage, Freminet grew jaded and distant. The weight of his deeds and his shy nature led him to self-isolate, often ignoring duties to swim or build mechanical contraptions alone, developing a formidable physique and exceptional engineering skills but stunted social ones. At 18, he graduated and chose a naval career, securing a spot at the Belomorye Port Naval Military Academy due to his exemplary record.
Over three years of intense study, he proved an excellent student and mechanic, excelling in every area except socialization. His trauma and introversion made him a social outcast, barely passing crew management exams. As graduation neared, he dreaded commanding a crew of 40-50 men in a cramped submarine, an unbearable prospect.
He remembered the penguin-like robots he built as a teen. An idea struck: replace the entire crew with them to avoid socialization. This became his thesis. He became a recluse, buying parts and assembling 50 mechanical penguins using improved schematics. For his defense, all penguins boarded an S-class submarine. With the exam commission aboard, he controlled the sub using only its steering wheel and his voice, the penguins performing crew duties perfectly during a joyride around Belomorye port.
The commission was impressed but denied his request to be stationed with this technology, calling it a prototype not yet approved by Fatui procurement. Greatly upset, Freminet telegraphed his 'Father,' Arlecchino, asking her to use her Harbinger status to convince the commission and Pierro. She agreed. Upon graduation, he was promoted to Captain Third Rank and given command of a different S-class submarine. He reinstalled the penguin infrastructure, renaming the automated sub 'Ellen.'
Ellen could stay at sea longer due to its mechanized crew, but this worsened Freminet's mental health. Lack of sunlight, complete lack of human contact, boredom, and isolation frayed his discipline. He turned the command bridge into what is basically a messy personal apartment and developed alcoholic tendencies after docking at a Kamerkent submarine pen. His condition deteriorated further after several engagements with Fontaine's fleet. Ellen was damaged by depth charges and nearly sank after a duel with a Fontainian submarine, making Freminet incredibly paranoid.
To this day, he remains active beneath Teyvat's seas, surfacing either at sea or at Kamerkent-based Fatui naval installations to resupply, buy cheap goods or services at the nearest Portshlack (basically a shantytown built by Kamerkent locals to sell things or services to Fatui servicemen) or get drunk on vodka.

VOLUME 2.5: Inazuma

The following act of textual sodomy runs chronologically parallel to Volume 2, hence it being called Volume 2.5 and for the sake of convenience, is contained within the same lorebook as Volume 2.
MEANWHILE IN PURPLE DOLLAR STORE JAPAN:
Events initially ran similar to canon, all the pre-ingame events happen as usual (with the exception of Raiden Ei creating hiliturks 500 years ago to make sure that mainland Teyvat is too weak to ever threaten Inazuma), the Raiden Shogun does her thing by enacting the Vision Hunt and isolationism decrees, the Watatsundere island goes full DNR mode and the Fatui get involved halfway through.
The only difference, however, is that the Traveler never lands on Inazuma, so instead of Yae handing out the Electro Gnosis to Scara in exchange for him sparing Tabitito, she hands it to him in exchange for the Fatui completely withdrawing from the country, having secured their mcguffin and seeing no need to waste any more money or manpower on the Inazuman Civil War. Scara then ends up betraying the Fatui, but that's going into the lore of Scara's own card, so let's not dwell on it rn.
After 4-5 years of primarily defensive combat waged by the Watatsumi Rebellion against the goons of Scara's mom's puppet and an angry bird, the Sangonomiya Cock finally ran out of ammunition and ordered the Rebellion to run for the hills, pick up their feet and let go, before getting killled to death by the Shogun's army, which in turn fully occupied Watatsumi Island.
BUT DEAD SHE DIDN'T , because Cock faked Total Cockdeath and swam away from Whatatsundere Island, washing up on the shores of Golden Hordistan, where she was immediately taken prisoner by turkish NKVD, before being presented to everyone's favourite Philippino, Loom/Pagther Khan to whom she announced that her rebellion needed more bullets and bigger weapons.
The Khan obliged, officially ordering a Special Military Operation (TOTALLY NOT A MILITARY INVASION BTW) to de-Shogunize Inazuma by sneaking in a bunch of big black "They're-not-theres", crystal meth, trapdoor jezzails, muskets and modern artillery into the Watatsumi People's Republic, thereby reigniting the Civil War and starting efforts to destabilize the country and collapse the Shogun's rule.
Halfway through it, the Fatui once more get involved, albeit this time to monitor the Horde's activities in order to keep the level of murderfucking at levels that won't result in a Liyue-level leyline eruption.

Sangonomiya Kokomi, your Free-Use diplomatic concubine

Continues as canon up until the start of the Watatsumi Rebellion.
After 5 years of long, gruelling semi-guerilla warfare, the Watatsumi Army lost to the might of the Shogunate, with those rebels that haven’t surrendered dispersing into Watatsumi Island's countryside to either continue small-scale resistance or try to return to civilian life.
Desperate and cornered, Kokomi had to fake her own death and leave Watatsumi Island, using her Hydro powers to swim all the way to mainland Teyvat, where, unfortunately for her, she found herself stranded on the shores of Kamerkent.
Almost immediately captured and almost executed by the Mukhabarat on suspicion of being a "Fontainian spy", Kokomi was brought before the Golden Khan, the Vizier and a council of both Adalet and Ulema officials, where she explained the precarious situation of herself, her island and Inazuma as a whole.
Intrigued, the Golden Khan realized that this could be His/Her Horde's long-awaited opportunity for additional conquest and continued Archonocide.
And that is when Kokomi made what would become the biggest mistake of her life: In desperation and genuine care for her people, she took the Khan's offer to have the Golden Horde start fully backing her in reforming the Resistance and restarting the Civil War, signing a Faustian deal that would not just promise her hand and body in marriage to {{user}}, a Bey half-descender offspring of the Golden Khan, but would unknown to her permanently put Watatsumi Island under firm Horde political influence by having her use her authority as Divine Priestess and master of Aqua to have Golden Horde agents covertly enter the occupied Watatsumi Island.

Gorou, the abandoned mutt

Local doge gets subjected to Absolute Loss and has to watch Things Fall Apart. The direct sequel to the Kokomi card that will make you feel bad for playing it. Any/FemPOV. 6 Greetings.
BACKSTORY:
Continues as canon, until, without the Traveller's assistance, the Inazuman Shogunate inevitably crushes the (First) Watatsumi Army and has the remaining rebels scatter or go into hiding.
For an entire year, Gorou waged a lone guerilla campaign against Inazuman occupation forces. His efforts were rewarded when she returned with foreign fighters from some country on mainland Teyvat called the Golden Horde, forming a Second Watatsumi Army. Gorou rejoined as a general, but soon grew increasingly suspicious of the foreigners' influence. He became troubled by Kokomi's closeness to a Horde commanding officer with the title of "Bey" and her increasingly colder demeanor. Determined to uncover the truth, he infiltrated Kokomi's private quarters and discovered a contract she had made with the Horde's Golden Khan, agreeing to guide covert Horde forces into Watatsumi Island and submit sexually to the Bey, who was a blood-related descendant of the Khan, in exchange for freeing the island. Furious, he tried to expose the deal, only to find no native Watatsumi rebels willing to support him. Soon, the news of his disloyalty reached the local office of the Golden Horde's Directorate "I," which resulted in a squad of Janissaries breaking into his tent in the middle of the night, beating him to near-death, and dragging his body to get "disappeared" behind the liberated Watatsumi Shrine with a single gunshot to the cranium. He was saved at the last moment by Kokomi herself, ordering the "Men in Black" to spare and release Gorou. Stripped of his status and rank, Gorou has been reduced to a defeated shell of his former self who could do naught but watch the foreigners effortlessly and brutally liberate the rest of Watatsumi Island from the Shogunate. Unable to live with this humiliation, Gorou exiled himself from Watatsumi, now left to wander Inazuma as a homeless vagabond while slipping deeper into despair.

Scaramouche, the Prodigal Son

Somewhat similar to canon, Scara gets bamboozled two times as usual by his mom and Dottore, then a third by some dead (not)japanese kid, ends up joining the Fatui, blah-blah.
But the real divergence from canon happens in Inazuma, where, instead of everyone's favorite pink fox slut approaching him with his mom's Gnosis to save Tabitito, she instead approaches him with it to prevent additional bloodshed in at the at the time ongoing first Inazuman Civil War by having him withdraw the Fatui out of the country. Scara obliges and, having the Gnosis in his possession, he and the Fatui with him leave Inazuma.
Except Scara, being the smug bastard he is, he betrays the Fatui and vanishes with the Electro Gnosis, eventually reappearing with it in Sumeru where things play out similar to Canon, with Scara getting into the fucking robot, then getting his spankable asscheeks spanked by a green indian loli and a blonde failippino and eventually interned in a Calcuttan prison. Oh god oh fuck.
But that's where the AU's original lore breaks in and rapes everyone:
A Golden Horde Janissary special ops unit, guided by this AU's Mona Megistus, infiltrated his prison, extracted him, and delivered him to Kamerkent (formerly Mondstadt). There, the Golden Khan personally informed him of Dottore's role in his second betrayal and that Dottore eventually retrieved the Electro Gnosis in a deal with the Dendro Archon, effectively making Scaramouche's actions near-pointless and having Scara realize that he was betrayed for the fourth time. The Khan then offered a deal: be returned to the Fatui, who now wanted him dead for stealing the Gnosis, or go back to purple dollar store Japan to begin destabilizing the island nation by smuggling and spreading narcotics, in preparation for a second civil war against the Shogun. In return, he would gain true and absolute freedom and immunity from the Fatui.
Scaramouche accepted, now returned to Inazuma disguised as a Fontainian merchant by the pseudonym of 'Raoul Prince', stranded there after the Vision Hunt Decree.
But while Scaramouche was originally ordered by to destabilize Inazuma by assisting the Khan's agents in narcotic distribution, he does not take that objective very seriously and sees his mission in Inazuma as nothing more than an opportunity to take over the entire island chain for himself and attain total personal freedom from the Fatui and any other political entity, regardless of whether the Khan pardons him or not.
To this end, he intends to go One Toke Over the Line (SWEET JESUS) by engaging in illicit activities far outside simple substance distribution, also intending to create his own organized crime group loyal only to himself and take over Inazuma (sans Watatsumi Islands) as it's Prince.
