brave browser

brave is a free and open source browser based on the chromium web browser that blocks most of the site ads and trackers (addable filters) brave also offers a free vpn for their users (limited, obviously).
brave also offers a wallet feature, for storing the BAT (basic attention token) that you get from allowing some optional ads
the BAT can be used as a cryptocurrency for buying small things
it also has some good ranking on privacytests.org, which is the main thing in this whole text lol
i recommend using brave if youre used to chrome or just dont want to switch to firefox | download

recommendation!!

PLEASE use the recommend settings for brave

winget installation methods:

tor browser

the tor browser is a tool for accesing the tor network, created with the purpose to bring the most privacy possible. it's fork of the mozilla firefox browser. it's the choice if you want the closest to anonymity, it also includes premade setting for you! just go to the privacy settings and select a security level (standart, safer and safest) | download

recommendation

if you want the best anonymity possible use the tor browser, and also DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTING AT ALL. only the security levels! it will make you more fingerprintable if you do!

winget installation method:
winget install TorProject.TorBrowser

surged due to a tor and mullvad collaboration. they also have their own search engine
it was made to be used with mullvadvpn. it also has a good fingerprinting protection! it also includes the tor security levels, the tor warning also applies for this browser, do NOT change any settings at all!!
since you already have a good fingerprinting protection, it's recommended to use the mullvadvpn, since it makes you blend in with the other users!!
also comes with DoH pre-installed, also ublock but who cares!??!?!! | download
