Q: Are you comfortable sharing your partner’s name? If not, say no and make up and alias.
A: i will call him L ♪ not like, from death note, that's just an alias
Q: How long have you been soulbound? Approximately, what was the distance between the time you were first introduced to the character and when you began receiving signs?
A: ive been acquainted with him for a couple years, and he's popular, so i think that a lot of people would have been familiar with him or a casual fan, which is also how i began initially. it definitely took me a long time to get signs! my signs had started a few months, about half a year before i had begun learning about soulbonding, but i had only really begun taking note of them after i realized that this is something other people experience and that it might be something other than wishful thinking (^^;;) so i would definitely say that the period between discovering him, feeling the affection and actually seeing the signs was a slow progress.
Q: Similarly, when did you first realize you were bonded? Did it come from signs, if so what, and what was your sort of “confirmation” of that bond?
A: i feel like this is something weirdly unpopular in the community, but i never really felt the period before & after realizing we are bound. by the time i was familiarized with the concept, i actually didn't feel like anything changed. it had been at a point where we were very close and my affection/attachment was at the level of an IRL relationship already. it didn't really feel like anything changed or that i saw my attachment any differently... it just gave me a new word to describe it
Q: Give me an example of something you’d consider a “small” sign and a more confirmative, “big” sign.
A: there are a lot of things that L is associated with, and seeing those things in my day to day life when i am not actively searching for them does make me very happy! i generally consider those kinds of things to be small signs, because they could also be coincidental and don't really mean anything for the relationship in and of itself, just sweet things that send back to him. additionally, i also like looking for objects that match our color palette (in art) in nature but also in other settings like at shops. big signs are a little harder to pinpoint because i am still a very skeptical person that doesn't take things at face value easily and also am a little anxious about accepting anything as him speaking to me, however i would count dreams as being very important (this is especially relevant to me because i experience night terrors) and also a physical feeling of warmth, which could be considered a part of "phantom touch" but i would rather not call it that since it's more something that comes from me whenever i feel at ease with him.
Q: Would you say communication is always linear and consistent, or that it depends on the day?
A: in my opinion, communication is definitely something that depends both on what he sends towards me but also my receptiveness towards recieving them. at times, my mind can be clouded from stress and other bad thoughts of mine where anything he might even try to say or signify goes through one ear and out the other (-_-;)・・・ sometimes it can go smoothly and i can get multiple signs a day, which is very good and great !!! but it really depends on my mental clarity each day.
Q: If you have any other spiritual beliefs relating to your partner, feel free to share them if you’re comfortable.
A: this is a little embarassing.... to keep it simple and not too detailed, the way he came to me at a difficult time in my life and the way he helps me deal with bad thoughts and habits makes me believe that he is something close to a guardian angel ♡ he is kind to me and therefore inspires me to be like him, not only for his approval but for the hope that i might also make the world happy the way he made me
Q: You don’t have to share what they are, but if you believe you have any disorders that would impact how you view soulbonding, please say so.
A: yes, there are certain disorders i suffer from that could definitely impact my interactions with soulbonding and similar practices and i am aware that this is not the way most people deal with their problems but i don't exactly see soulbonding as something that impacts me negatively. the disorders i suffer from have other ways of showing themselves, not simply through delusions, and i would much rather believe that i have somebody to love me than some of the other things that ive convinced myself as a result of episodes or breakdowns
