Master the Holiday Munchies
.
You open the present that you bought for yourself, the latest, newly released season of your favorite TV show all about the model in crisis. You opened the gifts sent by friends and family the night before. You only held off on the gift you bought because you already knew what it was and you wanted to save it for Christmas day. You promptly pop it into the player, fall onto the couch, and slip into a suspended belief coma.
Halfway through the season, your stomach rumbles. You are pretty sure it has something to do with the fabulous dinner display arranged by the remorseful boyfriend of the model in crisis.
Trying to win her back after a shameless tryst with the model's 19-year-old fashion nemesis, he flew her to the fanciest restaurant in Brazil and tried to woo her with choice cuts of meat.
"Rodrigo, how dare you? I told you I'm vegan now."
"You give up meat for a week," he replied rakishly. "I give you meat for a lifetime."
"You want to destroy my career!"
"I want to show you my love! My passion! Marry me!"
You are left panting after this. You are also in the mood for a nicely stacked roast beef sandwich.
You decide to:
Order out anything that comes with french fries and a strawberry shake
or
Order a baked potato and a bowl of vegetable stew
or
Reheat your leftovers from the night before--roasted chicken, risotto and steamed veggies
or
Order a decadent sandwich but skip the sides
