OCEAN refers to the Big Five personality traits model. It is a acronym of : Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. You may also see it being refered as "five-factor model" or CANOE. This is a more scientific type of personality types. The framework groups variation in personality into five separate factors, all measured on a continuous scale :

  • Openness (O) measures creativity, curiosity, and willingness to entertain new ideas.
  • Conscientiousness (C) measures self-control, diligence, and attention to detail.
  • Extraversion (E) measures boldness, energy, and social interactivity.
  • Agreeableness (A) measures kindness, helpfulness, and willingness to cooperate.
  • Neuroticism (N) measures depression, irritability, and moodiness.

at this point, i got lazy and decided to just copy from Wikipedia to sound more formal.

The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-report questionnaire that makes pseudoscientific claims to categorize individuals into 16 distinct "personality types" based on psychology. The test assigns a binary letter value to each of four dichotomous categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving. This produces a four-letter test result such as "INTJ" or "ESFP", representing one of 16 possible types.

  • E / I – Extraversion / Introversion: Where you get energy, social vs. alone.
  • S / N – Sensing / Intuition: How you take in information, facts vs. big picture.
  • T / F – Thinking / Feeling: How you make decisions, logic vs. emotions.
  • J / P – Judging / Perceiving: How you approach life, structured vs. flexible.
  • A → Assertive
    • You’re self-assured, confident in your decisions, less likely to stress over mistakes.
    • Typically more relaxed, resilient to stress, and comfortable with uncertainty.
  • T → Turbulent
    • You’re more self-conscious, perfectionistic, and sensitive to stress.
    • Often reflective, self-critical, and motivated to improve.

David Keirsey developed the Keirsey Temperament Sorter after learning about the MBTI system, though he traces four "temperaments" back to Ancient Greek traditions. He maps these temperaments to the Myers–Briggs groupings SP, SJ, NF, and NT. He also gives each of the 16 MBTI types a name, as shown in the below table.

  • Introverts
    • ISTJ – Inspector
    • ISFJ – Protector
    • ISTP – Crafter
    • ISFP – Composer
    • INTJ – Mastermind
    • INTP – Architect
    • INFJ – Counselor
    • INFP – Healer
  • Extraverts
    • ESTJ – Supervisor
    • ESFJ – Provider
    • ESTP – Promoter
    • ESFP – Performer
    • ENTJ – Commander
    • ENTP – Inventor
    • ENFJ – Teacher
    • ENFP – Champion

Wynaut Joyous PMD // Made by CHUNSOFT ENNEAGRAMS

The Enneagram of Personality, or simply the Enneagram, is a pseudoscientific model of the human psyche which is principally understood and taught as a typology of nine interconnected personality types.

  • Type 1 – The Reformer: Principled, purposeful, perfectionistic, self-controlled.
  • Type 2 – The Helper: Caring, generous, people-pleasing, interpersonal.
  • Type 3 – The Achiever: Success-oriented, adaptable, image-conscious, driven.
  • Type 4 – The Individualist: Sensitive, introspective, expressive, identity-focused.
  • Type 5 – The Investigator: Analytical, curious, private, cerebral.
  • Type 6 – The Loyalist: Security-oriented, responsible, anxious, committed.
  • Type 7 – The Enthusiast: Spontaneous, adventurous, optimistic, pleasure-seeking.
  • Type 8 – The Challenger: Assertive, confident, protective, decisive.
  • Type 9 – The Peacemaker: Easy-going, accepting, harmonious, conflict-averse.

In the Enneagram of Personality, a wing refers to the type adjacent to a person’s primary type on the Enneagram diagram. While an individual has one dominant type, the wing can influence their behavior, motivations, and personality traits, adding nuance and variation to the core type. Wings are a widely recognized component of modern Enneagram theory, providing additional flexibility in understanding individual differences within each type.

  • Example = 7w6 = The Wings (6) adds loyal, cautious, team-oriented personality to the 7.
Each Enneagram type can be modified by one of three primary instinctual drives, sometimes called subtypes. These instincts influence behavior, priorities, and how the type interacts with the world.
  • Self-Preservation (sp)
    • Focuses on safety, health, comfort, and material security.
    • Example: A self-preservation Type 6 is highly cautious, responsible, and focused on protecting themselves and loved ones.
  • Social (so)
    • Focuses on relationships, group dynamics, and social roles.
    • Example: A social Type 3 prioritizes reputation, teamwork, and social recognition.
  • Sexual / One-to-One (sx)
    • Focuses on intensity, connection, and deep interpersonal bonds.
    • Example: A sexual Type 4 seeks deep emotional experiences and intimate relationships.
